Introduction
Controls
This is a simplied representation of the TV front panel, side panel control buttons and side inputs.

Press to access the input source mode. Press
repeatedly to change the source to the one you
want to watch. In the MENU screen, the TV/
AV button serves as the OK button.
2MENU Menu display. Press to access the on-screen
menu display.

Press to adjust the volume. In the MENU screen,
these buttons serve as right/left buttons.
4CH +/-
Press to scan through channels.To scan quickly
through channels, press and hold down either
+/- . In the MENU screen, these buttons serve
as up/down buttons.
5POWER Press to turn on and o the TV.
6HDMI IN Connect a HDMI device to receive digital audio
and uncompressed digital video signals.

Choose Your Connection
There are several ways to connect your television,
depending on the components you want to connect
and the quality of the signal you want to achieve. The
following are examples of some dierent ways to
connect your TV with dierent input sources.
Connecting a VCR
To avoid picture noise (interference), leave an adequate
distance between the VCR and TV.
Connection Option 1
Set VCR output switch to channel 3 or 4 and then tune
the TV to the same channel number.
Connection Option 2
Connect the audio and video cables from the VCR’sA
output jacks to the TV input jacks, as shown in the
figure. When connecting the TV to VCR, match the
jack colors (Video = yellow, Audio Left = white, and
Audio Right = red). If you connect a S-VIDEO output
from VCR to the S-VIDEO input, the picture quality is
improved; compared to connecting a regular VCR to
the Video input.
Insert a video tape into the VCR and press

How to connect
Connect the audio and video cables from theq
external equipment’s output jacks to the TV input
jacks, as shown in the figure.
When connecting the TV to external equipment,q

Connecting a DTV (digital TV)
This TV can receive Digital Over-the-air/Cable signals
without an external digital set-top box. However, if you do
receive Digital signals from a digital set-top box or other
digital external device, refer to the figure as shown below.
This TV supports HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital
Contents Protection) protocol for Digital Contents
(480p,720p,1080i).
How to connect
Use the TV’s COMPONENT, VGA or HDMI jack forq
video connections, depending on your set-top box
connector. Then, make the corresponding audio
connections.

Connecting a computer
How to connect
To get the best picture quality, adjust the VGAA
graphics card to 1280s1024.
Use the TV’s VGA or DVI (Digital Visual Interface)B
Audio IN port for audio connections, depending on
your computer connector.
If the graphic card on the computer does notq
output analog and digital RGB simultaneously,
connect only one of either VGA IN or HDMI IN to
display the VGA on the TV.
If the graphic card on the computer does outputq
analog and digital RGB simultaneously, set the TV
to either VGA or HDMI; (the other mode is set to
Plug and Play automatically by the TV.)
Then, make the corresponding audio connection.

If using a sound card, adjust the VGA sound as
required.
How to use
Turn on the computer and the TV.A
Use INPUT on the remote control to select VGA orB
HDMI source.
Check the image on your TV. There may be noise

associated with the resolution, vertical pattern,
contrast or brightness in VGA mode. If noise
is present, change the VGA mode to another
resolution, change the refresh rate to another rate
or adjust the brightness and contrast on the menu
until the picture is clear. If the refresh rate of the VGA
graphic card can not be changed, change the VGA
graphic card or consult the manufacturer of the VGA
graphic card.

Avoid keeping a fixed image on the TV’s screenR
for a long period of time. The fixed image may
become permanently imprinted on the screen.
The synchronization input form for Horizontal andR
Vertical frequencies is separate.

Connect the source device to HDMI port of this TVA
with an HDMI cable (not supplied with this product).
No separated audio connection is necessary.

To get the best picture quality, adjust the output
resolution of the source device to 1280s720p.

Operation
In the manual, the OSD (on screen display) may be
dierent from your TV’s, because it is just an example to
help you with the TV operation.
There are several options you might need to set up in
order for your TV to work properly. Read the instructions
that follow.
Switching On/O the TV set
First, connect power cord correctly.A
Select the viewing source by usingBINPUT button on
the remote control.
When finished using the TV, press

the remote control. The TV reverts to standby mode.
If you intend to be away on vacation, disconnect the

power plug from the wall power outlet.
Note
If the TV in power on , the screen show informationR
according the type of input signal, the information
will disappear. If there is no signal, “No Signal” will
display on the screen.
Choose the Menu Language
When you start using your set for the first time, you must
select the language which will be used for displaying
menus and indications.

the picture.
ColorY
This will adjust the saturation level of the colors to suit
your personal preference.
SharpnessY
This will adjust the sharpness of fine details in the
picture.
Note
The picture options can only be adjusted in theR
User mode. The other picture modes are preset.
TintY
Allows you to select the color mix (Tint) of the picture.

MTS/SAP : This TV can receive MTS stereo programs
and SAP (Secondary Audio Program) that accompanies
the stereo program; if the station transmits an additional
sound signal as well as the original one.
When having selected MTS/SAP button on the remote
control, this TV can only receive the signal when the TV
station transmits the proper signals.
Mono sound is automatically received if the broadcast is only
in Mono; even though Stereo or SAP has been selected.
Select Mono if you want to listen to mono sound during
stereo/ SAP broadcasting. Stereo or SAP can be received
in a Analog channel.
Use
AMTS/SAP button to select your desired MTS
mode in a analog signal.
Each time you pressq

Stereo or SAP appear. If other languages are
available on the digital signal, select them with the
MTS/SAP
button.

Channel menu
Display channel menu by pressing INPUT button then
Color temperatureY
This will increase or decrease Warm (red) and Cool
(blue) colors to suit personal preferences.
Select Cool to give the white colors a blue tint,
Standard to give the white colors a neutral tint, Warm
to give the white colors a red tint.
Aspect RatioY
To change the aspect ratio: Full Screen, 4:3, Auto,
Cinema, Zoom and just scan.
You can also press P.SIZE button on the remote control to
select the option.
DNRY
Automatically lters out and reduces the image
noise and improves picture quality when receiving
weak video signals: On or O.
BacklightY
To adjust the brightness of Backlight.

automatically adds only the active channels in your area

It deletes any channels on which there is no broadcast or
a poor signal.
The channels found are automatically saved.

Parental Control can be used to block specic channels,
ratings and other viewing soure.

Due to the particularity of le coding, some lesR
may be unable to read.
The USB Movie player can surpport codes asR
MPEG2, MPEG2_HD,MPEG4,MPEG4_HD,H.264.
when its coding doesn't include in the codes
upwards.
Supported equipment:
Support the equipment that supports Mass
Storage Protocol and whose le system is FAT32,
such as some USB disks and mobile harddisks.
If USB equipment could not be identied due
to unsupported le system, please format the
equipment to the above-mentioned le system.
To achieve smooth playing, ensure the following:
The le code rate should be lower than 300KB/S;•
Due to the limitation of USB signal transmission•
distance, it is recommended not to use USB patch
cord, in case of using the cord, make sure that its
length is not over 1m;
Use high-speed USB equipment in conformity•
with USB2.0 full speed Interface Standard; If USB
equipment in conformity with USB1.1 full speed
Interface Standard is used, the playing may be
unsmooth.
When connecting/removing the USB
device
Press INPUT on the remote control unit to select
USB option.
Insert USB equipment into corresponding USB
interface 2s after starting the system.
After entering the system menu, press /on the
remote control unit to select the require USB les,
press OK button to conrm the selection and enter
the le list relative to the selection.
Press /on the remote control unit to select the
required le, press ENTER button to enter the selected
le.
To exit the streaming media playing system and
watch a TV program, you must press EXIT button to
return to the streaming media main menu at rst (to
protect equipment), and then press INPUT to select
AIR or Cable to return to the TV mode.

Under source of USB, when"press button MENU,
screen goes black, except when images or movies
are being played.
While playing the USB, press"EXIT button repeatly,
the screen picture will return to USB main
interface, and only at this time you can switch
corresponding signal sources by pressing INPUT
again.
Please do not unplug the USB device when the"
connected USB storage device is working. When such
device is suddenly separated or unplugged, the stored
les or the USB storage device may be damaged.
Operating the USB device
Press/to scroll through main menu or submenu
and select your desired option.
Press OK to conrm your selection.
Press /to achieve the FWD (fast forward) and
REV (fast back) of the option being played.
Press to play, and press it again to pause playing.
Press ZOOM to magnify pictures; when the picture is
enlarged, press /and /to move the picture.
Press EXIT repeatedly to return to the main menu.

picture is enlarged, press /and /to move

Press / to select the last or next picture.
To exit playing, just press EXIT repeatedly.

select MUSIC item.
Press ENTER to conrm the selection and enter the
music le list.

you want to play, then press button to play the
