How to Set the Temperature on a HAKKO FX-888D
1. Turn ON the power. The display will show the following:
2. Let the temperature come up to the factory default of 750°F
3. Hold the button for at least 2 seconds. The hundreds digit will start to flash
4. Press the button to select the value, then press to move to the next digit. When you
finish the last digit, the temperature is set.

If you mistakenly change calibration instead of temperature…
How to Reset the HAKKO FX-888D
1. Turn OFF the power.
2. Hold the and button at the same time and turn ON the power.
3. Continue holding the buttons until the display shows ‘A’ like you see below
4. Press one time so the display shows ‘U’ like you see below
5. Press . The station is now reset to factory defaults.
