•The product is intended for private, non-commercial use
only.
•Do not use the product in the immedi ate vicinity of
heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
•Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating,
and only use it in adry environment.h
•Do not continue to operate the device if it becomes
visibly damaged. (This is mandatory for all products with
220 Vmains connections.)
•Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the
reach of children!

Children may not clean the product or perform user
maintenance without supervision.

4. Information and notes before initial startup
The following corefunctions areavailable:
•Playback of records at 33 and 45 revolutions per minute
•Digitisation of records via the integrated USB interface or
the SD cardslot
•Playback of audio les from SD memory cards or USB
storage media (FAT/FAT32)
•Reception of radio transmissions (VHF/FM)
Note –Location
•Place the product on alevel, vibration-free surface.
•Operate the product only in alevel orientation.
•Keep the product away from strong magnetic elds.
•Do not place any objects on the device and never use
it for keeping things on.
•Lay all cables so that they do not pose atripping
hazard.
•Do not bend or crush the cable.
4.1 Fitting the belt and turntable
•Place the included turntable (3) on the turntable axis.
•Turn the turntable until the opening is over the drive
motor:

•Use the fastening tab to pull the drive belt on the
underside of the turntable over the drive rollerofthe
motor.

•Remove the attachment tab.
4.2 Turntable mat
•Place the included turntable mat in the centreofthe
turntable.
4.3 Removing the protective cap from the stylus
Note
•The protective cap protects the stylus from dust and
other soiling.
•Beforestarting playback or recording, remove the
protective cap from the stylus.
•When nished using the recordplayer,replace the
protective cap on the stylus.
•Do not touch the stylus with your hands. Doing so
may cause damage.
•Pull the protective cap off of the stylus (A) of the tone
arm (B) by pulling it forward.
4.4 Tone arm clip for safe transportation
Note
•The tone arm is secured for transport with aclip.
•Remove the clip beforeuse.
•Securethe tone arm beforemoving the device to
protect it from damage.
Removing the transport safety
•Remove the clip from the tone arm. It is located directly
at the tone arm rest (6).
•Now the tone arm (7) can be removed from the tone
arm rest.
Attaching the transport safety
•Place the tone arm (7) on the tone arm rest (6).
•Attach the clip to the tone arm.
4.5 Adjusting the tone arm (zero balancing)
The tone arm must always be balanced. It should move
horizontally over the turntable only.Adjust the tone arm to
correct any tipping forwards or backwards.
•Remove the protective cap as described in section 4.3
Removing the protective cap from the stylus.
•Remove the tone arm (7) from the tone arm rest (6).
•Turn the counterweight (4) clockwise or anticlockwise to
move it until the tone arm (7) is level over the turntable.
•Set the tone arm (7) back on the tone arm rest (6).

4.6 Adjusting the pressure on the stylus
Note
•The ideal pressureonthe stylus for the included
pickup system is 3.5 grams.
•The balancing ring moves together with the
counterweight when it is turned. Thus you should
check the stylus pressurebeforeeach use.
•Remove the protective cap as described in section 4.3
Removing the protective cap from the stylus.
•Remove the tone arm (7) from the tone arm rest (6).
•Turn the counterweight clockwise to increase the stylus
pressureoranticlockwise to decrease it.
•Set the tone arm (7) back on the tone arm rest (6).

4.7 Attaching the 45 rpm adapter
Note
•The 45 rpm adapter is used for playback of 45 rpm
singles without centring stars.
•When not in use, the adapter can be placed on the
holder (1).
•To usethe adapter,place it in the middle of the turntable
on the turntable axis.
4.8 Connecting active speakers
Note
•To get the best sound, connect active speakers.
•Speakers and stereo cables arenot included.
•Ensurethat the recordplayer has been correctly set up
as described in sections 4.1 to 4.7.
•Connect compatible speakers to the left and right stereo
RCAoutputs (23) of the recordplayer using astereo
cable.
4.9 Attaching the hood
Note
•The hood protects the recordplayer from dust and
dirt.
•Close the hood when the recordplayer is not in use.
•Swivel the hinge backwards until it clicks into place.
•Set the hinge onto the two matching mounts until it
audibly clicks into place.
5.Operation
5.1 Connecting and starting up
Warning
•Only connect the product to asocket that has been
approved for the device. The electrical socket must
always be easily accessible.
•Disconnect the product from the power supply using
the on/off switch –ifthis is not available, unplug the
power cordfromthe socket.
•When using amulti-socket power strip, make surethat
the sum power draw of all the connected devices does
not exceed its maximum throughput rating.
•If you will not be using the product for along period
of time, disconnect it from mains power.
Connect the power supply unit to the power input (24) on
the back of the recordplayer.
Connect the power cable to aproperly installed and easily
accessible power socket. The power supply unit is suitable
for mains voltages between 100 and 240 V, and is thus
operable on almost any AC power grid. Please note that a
country-specicadapter may be necessary.You can nd a
selection of compatible products at www.hama.com.
5.2 Switching on/off
•Press [POWER](21) to switch the recordplayer on or
off.
5.3 Audio playback
Note –Auto return
•The recordplayer automatically recognises the end of
the record.
•At the end of playback, the tone arm automatically
returns to the tone arm rest and the turntable stops.
•Switch on the recordplayer as described in section 5.2
Switching on/off.
•Press [MODE] (17) repeatedly until the display shows
“PH”. The device is now in playback mode.
•If necessary,place the 45 rpm adapter on the turntable
as described in section 4.7 Attaching the 45 rpm
adapter.
•Place arecord on the turntable.
•Select the correct rotation speed using the rotation
speed control [33 SPEED/45 SPEED](8).
•Remove the clip from the tone arm.
•Push the tone arm up (7).
•Move the tone arm to the desired place on the record.
The turntable starts turning automatically.
5.3.1 Stopping playback
•Push the tone arm lift (5) up to lift the tone arm (7).
•Playback is interrupted.
5.3.2 Adjusting the speed (pitch control)
•Move the control slider (9) up to increase the speed of
the recordordown to decrease it.
•Position the control slider (9) in the centreofthe scale to
set it back to the original speed.

6.Digitising records
Note -Storage medium
•The storage medium must be formatted using the
FAT32 le system.
•The recording is saved on the storage medium as an
mp3 le with abit rate of 128kB/s.
•Always connect only one storage medium for
saving the recording. It is recognised by the device
automatically.
•Do not use aUSB cable to connect USB volumes to
the USB interface. The USB port is intended only for
directly connecting USB storage devices.
•Switch on the recordplayer as described in section 5.2
Switching on/off.
•Press [MODE](17) repeatedly until the display shows
“PH”. The device is now in playback mode.
•Place arecord on the turntable.
•If necessary,place the 45 rpm adapter on the turntable
as described in section 4.7 Attaching the 45 rpm
adapter.
•Select the correct rotation speed using the rotation
speed control [33 SPEED/45 SPEED](8).
•Insert an USB stick into the recordplayer’sUSB port
(18).
•Alternatively,insert an SD/MMC cardinto the record
player’sSDcardslot (19).
•Wait until the recordplayer has recognised the storage
medium. “LOD” appears on the display.
•Press [REC](11) to start the recording.
•Move the tone arm to the desired place on the record.
The turntable starts turning automatically.
•During the record, [USB/SD]appears on the display.
•Press [ ](13) to stop recording.
•After the recording is stopped, playback of the stored
audio le begins automatically.
7.Audio playback from astorage medium
Note -Storage medium
•The storage medium must be formatted using the
FAT32 le system.
•The storage medium is recognised by the device
automatically.
•Do not use aUSB cable to connect USB volumes to
the USB interface. The USB port is intended only for
directly connecting USB storage devices.
•Switch on the recordplayer as described in section 5.2
Switching on/off.
•Press [MODE] (17) repeatedly until USB is displayed. The
device is now in playback mode.
•Insert an USB stick into the recordplayer’sUSB port
(18).
•Alternatively,insert an SD/MMC cardinto the record
player’sSDcardslot (19).
•Wait until the recordplayer has recognised the storage
medium. “LOD” appears on the display.Inthis case,
“SD” lights up on the display.
•The recordplayer automatically begins playback of the
audio les.
8. Care and Maintenance
•Only clean this product with aslightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
•Carefully clean the stylus with acleaning brush.
•If you do not use the product for along time, turn off
the device and disconnect it from the power supply.
Storeitinaclean, dry place out of direct sunlight.

4. Informationen und Hinweise vor Inbetriebnahme
Folgende Kernfunktionen stehen Ihnen zur Verfügung:
•Wiedergabe von Schallplatten mit 33/45 Umdrehungen
proMinute
•Digitalisierung von Schallplatten über die integrierte
USB-Schnittstelle oder den SD Kartenslot
•Wiedergabe von Audiodateien von SD-Speicherkarten
oder USB-Speichermedien (FAT/FAT32)
•Empfang von Radiosendern (UKW/FM)
Hinweis –Standort
•Stellen Sie das Produkt auf eine ebene, vibrationsfreie
Oberäche.
•Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur in waagerechter
Position.
•Halten Sie das Produkt von Magnetfeldern fern.
•Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf das Gerät und
verwenden Sie es niemals als Ablageäche.
•Verlegen Sie alle Kabel so, dass sie keine
Stolpergefahr darstellen.
•Knicken und quetschen Sie das Kabel nicht.
4.1 Montage Riemen und Plattenteller
•Platzieren Sie den beiliegenden Plattenteller (3) auf der
Plattentellerachse.
•Drehen Sie den Plattenteller bis dessen Aussparung über
dem Antriebsmotor steht:

•Ziehen Sie mithilfe der Befestigungslasche den
Antriebsriemen an der Unterseite des Plattentellers über
die Antriebsrolle des Motors.

•Entfernen Sie anschließend die Befestigungslasche.
4.2 Plattentellermatte
•Legen Sie die beiliegende Plattentellermatte mittig auf
den Plattenteller.
4.3 Entfernen Schutzkappe Abtastnadel
Hinweis
•Die Schutzkappe schützt die Nadel vor Staub etc.
•Nehmen Sie die Schutzkappe der Nadel vor der
Wiedergabe/Aufnahme ab.
•Setzen Sie die Schutzkappe bei Nichtgebrauch des
Plattenspielers wieder auf.
•Berühren Sie die Nadel nicht mit der Hand. Dies kann
zu Beschädigungen führen.
•Ziehen Sie die Schutzkappe der Abtastnadel (A) vom
Tonabnehmer (B) nach vorne ab.
4.4 Transportsicherung Tonarm
Hinweis
•Der Tonarm ist für den Transportmit einer Klemme
gesichert.
•Entfernen Sie die Klemme vor der ersten
Inbetriebnahme.
•Sichern Sie den Tonarm bei einem späteren Transport
wieder mit der Klemme, um Schäden vorzubeugen.

•Lösen Sie die Klemme am Tonarm. Diese bendet sich
direkt an der Tonarmablage (6).
•Der Tonarm (7) kann nun aus der Tonarmablage
entnommen werden.
Montage Transportsicherung
•Positionieren Sie den Tonarm (7) in der Tonarmablage (6).
•Befestigen Sie die Transportklemme am Tonarm.
4.5 Justierung des Tonarms (0-Balance)
Der Tonarm sollte stets im Gleichgewicht sein und sich
horizontal zum Plattenteller bewegen. Justieren Sie den
Tonarm, um ein Kippen nach hinten/vorne zu korrigieren.
•Nehmen Sie die Schutzkappe –wie in 4.3 Entfernen
der Schutzkappe der Abtastnadel beschrieben- ab.
•Heben Sie den Tonarm (7) von der Tonarmablage (6).
•Drehen Sie das Gegengewicht (4) so lange im
Uhrzeigersinn bzw.gegen den Uhrzeigersinn bis sich der
Tonarm (7) horizontal zum Plattenspieler bendet.
•Legen Sie den Tonarm (7) nun wieder in der
Tonarmablage (6) ab.

4.6 Einstellung Auflagedruck Nadel
Hinweis
•Der ideale Auagedruck für das beiliegende
Tonabnehmersystem beträgt 3,5g.
•Der Einstellring bewegt sich zusammen mit dem
Gegengewicht, wenn man dieses dreht. Überprüfen
Sie daher den Auagedruck vor jeder Nutzung.
•Nehmen Sie die Schutzkappe –wie in 4.3 Entfernen
der Schutzkappe der Abtastnadel beschrieben- ab.
•Heben Sie den Tonarm (7) von der Tonarmablage (6).
•Drehen Sie das Gegengewicht im Uhrzeigersinn/gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn, um den Auagedruck zu erhöhen/
reduzieren.
•Legen Sie den Tonarm (7) nun wieder auf der
Tonarmablage (6) ab.
4.7 Montage Zentrierpuck
Hinweis
•Der Zentrierpuck wirdz.B. für Single-Platten ohne
Zentrierstern benötigt.
•Bei Nichtgebrauch kann der Zentrierpuck in der
Ablageäche (1) aufbewahrt werden.
•Legen Sie den Zentrierpuck, wenn nötig, mittig auf der
Plattentellerachse auf.
4.8 Anschluss aktive Lautsprecher
Hinweis
•Für ein optimales Klangerlebnis sollten aktive
Lautsprecher angeschlossen werden.
•Lautsprecher und Stereokabel sind im Lieferumfang
nicht enthalten.
•Stellen Sie sicher,dass die Montage des Plattenspielers
–wie in 4.1 bis 4.7 beschrieben –ordnungsgemäß
abgeschlossen ist.
•Schließen Sie passende Lautsprecher am Stereo Cinch
L/R Ausgang (23) des Plattenspielers mittels eines
Stereokabels an.
4.9 Montage Abdeckhaube
Hinweis
•Die Abdeckhaube schützt den Plattenspieler vor
Staub und Schmutz.
•Schließen Sie bei Nichtgebrauch die Abdeckhaube.
•Schwenken Sie die Scharnierenach hinten bis Sie den

5.1 Anschluss und Startvorgang
Warnung
•Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur an einer dafür
zugelassenen Steckdose. Die Netzsteckdose muss
jederzeit leicht erreichbar sein.
•Trennen Sie das Produkt mittels des Ein-/Ausschalters
vom Netz –wenn dieser nicht vorhanden ist, ziehen
Sie die Netzleitung aus der Steckdose.
•Achten Sie bei Mehrfachsteckdosen darauf,dass
die angeschlossenen Verbraucher die zulässige
Gesamtleistungsaufnahme nicht überschreiten.
•Trennen Sie das Produkt vom Netz, wenn Sie es
längereZeit nicht benutzen.
Schließen Sie das Netzteil an der Netzzuleitung (24) auf
der Rückseite des Plattenspielers an.
Verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit einer ordnungsgemäß
installierten und leicht zugänglichen Netzsteckdose.
Das Netzteil ist für eine Netzspannung von 100-240 V
geeignet und daher in nahezu allen Stromnetzen auf
Wechselstrom-Basis einsetzbar.Beachten Sie, dass hierzu
ein länderspezischer Adapter notwendig sein kann. Eine
entsprechende Auswahl an Produkten nden Sie unter

5.2 Ein-/Ausschalten
•Drücken Sie [POWER](21), um den Plattenspieler ein-/
auszuschalten
5.3 Audio Wiedergabe
Hinweis –Auto Return
•Der Plattenspieler erkennt das Ende der Schallplatte
automatisch.
•Am Ende der Wiedergabe bewegt sich der Tonarm
automatisch zurück in die Tonarmablage und der
Plattenteller stoppt.
•Schalten Sie den Plattenspieler –wie in 5.2 Ein-/
Ausschalten beschrieben-ein.
•Drücken Sie wiederholt [MODE](17) bis „PH“ im
Display angezeigt wird. Das Gerät bendet sich im
Betriebsmodus Wiedergabe.

•Setzen Sie ggf.den Zentrierpuck –wie in 4.7 Montage
Zentrierpuck beschrieben -auf den Plattenteller.
•Legen Sie eine Schallplatte auf dem Plattenteller auf.
•Wählen Sie mit Hilfe des Drehzahlreglers [SPEED 33/
SPEED 45](8) die passende Plattentellerdrehzahl.
•Lösen Sie die Klemme vom Tonarm.
•Schieben Sie den Tonarm (7) nach oben.
•Bewegen Sie den Tonarm an die gewünschte Stelle der
Schallplatte. Der Plattenteller beginnt automatisch sich
zu drehen.
5.3.1 Stoppen der Wiedergabe
•Schieben Sie den Tonarmlift (5) nach oben, um den
Tonarm (7) anzuheben.
•Die Wiedergabe wirdunterbrochen.
5.3.2 Anpassen der Geschwindigkeit (Pitch Control)
•Schieben Sie den Schieberegler (9) nach oben bzw.
unten, um die Geschwindigkeit der Schallplatte zu
erhöhen bzw.zuverringern.
•Positionieren Sie den Schieberegler (9) in der Mitte der
Skala, um die Originalgeschwindigkeit einzustellen.
6.Digitalisieren von Schallplatten
Hinweis -Speichermedium
•Das Speichermedium muss im Format FAT32
formatiert sein.
•Die Aufnahme wirdals MP3 mit einer Bitrate von 128
KB/s auf dem Speichermedium abgespeichert.
•Schließen Sie stets nur ein Speichermedium an, auf
dem die Aufnahme gespeichert werden soll. Es wird
automatisch vom Gerät erkannt.
•Verwenden Sie kein USB Kabel zum Anschluss von
USB Medien an die USB Schnittstelle. Der USB
Anschluss ist nur zum direkten Anschluss von USB
Medien geeignet.
•Schalten Sie den Plattenspieler –wie in 5.2 Ein-/
Ausschalten beschrieben -ein.
•Drücken Sie wiederholt [MODE](17) bis „PH“ im
Display angezeigt wird. Das Gerät bendet sich im
Betriebsmodus Wiedergabe.

•Warten Sie, bis der Plattenspieler das Speichermedium
erkennt. Das Display zeigt „LOD“ an.
•Drücken Sie [REC](11), um die Tonaufnahme zu starten.
•Bewegen Sie den Tonarm an die gewünschte Stelle der
Schallplatte. Der Plattenteller beginnt automatisch sich
zu drehen.
•Während der Aufnahme blinkt [USB/SD]imDisplay.
•Drücken Sie [ ](13), um die Aufnahme zu stoppen.
•Im Anschluss an die Aufnahme wirddie gespeicherte
Audiodatei automatisch wiedergegeben.
7.Audiowiedergabe vom Speichermedium

8. Wartung und Pflege
•Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fusselfreien,
leicht feuchten Tuch und verwenden Sie keine
aggressiven Reiniger.
•Reinigen Sie die Nadel vorsichtig mit einem
Reinigungspinsel.
•Sollten Sie das Produkt längereZeit nicht nutzen,
schalten Sie das Gerät aus und trennen es von der
Stromversorgung. Lagern Sie es an einem sauberen,
trockenen Ort ohne direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.

4. Informations et indications avant la mise en
service

Remarque concernant l’emplacement

4.1 Installation de la courroie et de la platine
•Placez la platine (3) fournie sur la tige de centrage de
la platine.

•Faites tourner la platine jusqu’à ce que son encoche se
trouve au-dessus du moteur d’entraînement :
•Utilisez la courroie de xation andeplacer la courroie
de transmission sur le galet d’entraînement du moteur,
sous la platine.

•Retirez la courroie de xation.
4.2 Couvre-plateau
•Placez le couvre-plateau fourni au centredelaplatine.
4.3 Dépose du capuchon de la pointe de lecture
Remarque
•Le capuchon protège l’aiguille de la poussière, etc.
•Retirez le capuchon de l’aiguille avant toute lecture/
enregistrement.
•Replacez le capuchon lorsque vous n’utilisez pas le
tourne-disque.
•Ne touchez pas l’aiguille avec votremain, risque de
détérioration.
•Retirez le capuchon de la pointe de lecture(A) du
phonocapteur (B) vers l’avant.
4.4 Sécurisation du bras de lecture
Remarque
•Le bras de lectureest bloqué, pour le transport, à
l’aide d’une pince.
•Déverrouillez le bras de lectureavant la première
mise en service.
•Verrouillez le bras de lecturelors de tout transport
and’éviter toute détérioration.
Dépose de la sécurité de transport
•Ouvrez la pince du bras de lecture;celle-ci se trouve
directement sur le repose-bras (6).
•Vous pouvez alors retirer le bras de lecture(7) du repose-
bras.
Montage du dispositif de sécurité de transport
•Placez le bras de lecture(7) sur le repose-bras (6).
•Fixez la pince de transport au bras de lecture.
4.5 Réglage du bras de lecture (balance 0)
Le bras de lecturedoit toujours êtreenéquilibreetse
déplacer horizontalement par rapport àlaplatine. Ajustez
le bras de lecturepour corriger tout basculement vers
l’arrière/l’avant.
•Retirez le capuchon –comme décrit au chapitre 4.3
Retrait du cache de protection de l’aiguille de
lecture.
•Soulevez le bras de lecture(7) pour le retirer du repose-
bras (6).
•Tournez le contrepoids (4) dans le sens des aiguilles
d’une montreoudans le sens inverse jusqu’à ce que le
bras de lecture(7) soit horizontal par rapport au tourne-
disque.
•Replacez le bras de lecture(7) sur le repose-bras (6).
