3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this lighting xture to be free from defects in the materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years
from date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use. If this
product is found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the
product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modications,
alterations, neglect or mishandling. This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, assembled,
or used in any way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the
product as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material
or workmanship.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty shall not apply to the nish on any portion of the product due to weathering, as this is considered normal wear. The
manufacturer does not warrant and specically disclaims any warranty, whether expressed or implied, other than the warranty contained
herein. The manufacturer specically disclaims any liability and shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental loss or damage,
including but not limited to, any labor or expense costs involved in the replacement or repair of the product.

Use only three-wire outdoor extension cords that have three-prong grounding plugs and grounding receptacles that accept the
appliance’s plug.
Ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection is to be provided on the circuit(s) or outlet(s) to be used for the wet location of the
luminaire. Receptacles are available having built-in GFCI protection and are able to be used for this measure of safety.
Use only with an extension cord for outdoor use, such as an extension cord of cord type SW, SW-A, SOW, SOW-A, STW, STW-A, STOW,

Installation - using power cord

Installing the plastic anchors

Unpacking the light fixture
□Drill two 6 mm (1/4 in.) pilot holes on ceiling and insert two
plastic anchors (JJ) into the holes. (If installing to studs,
skip this step.)

Installing the hooks
□Screw hooks (KK) to the studs on ceiling or the plastic
anchors (JJ) that have been installed.
□Carefully unpack the xture and lay out all parts on a clean
surface.

Hanging the chandelier
□Adjust the height of the xture body (A) as desired and attach
the chain (E) to the hooks (KK).

Installing the bulbs

Prior to installing the bulbs, inspect sockets for silica packets.
If packets are present, then remove and throw away. Do not
expose to children or pets.
Install six 120V, 60Hz, 60-Watt max., candelabra-base type B
bulbs (not included) into the sockets (C) of the light xture.

Installing the glass shades

Screw six glass shades (D) into the cups (B).
Plug cord into an outlet and turn on the switch (F).

Unpacking the light fixture
□Carefully unpack the xture and lay out all parts on a clean
surface.

Cutting the cord
□Cut off the plug-in cord to keep the power wires 12 inches
longer than the length that you want to hang the xture.
NOTE: If wiring to an outlet box, follow instructions below.
If using power cord, return to using power cord instructions.

Splitting the wires

Split the end of the wires 6 inches from the end.
Strip the plastic covers off the black and white wires about 1/2
inch from the end.
Strip the plastic cover off the green wire about 5 inches from the
end.

Determining the length of chain
□
Determine the length of chain required to hang the xture at the
desire height, remove chain links from the chain (E) in order to
achieve the desired length for hanging the light xture.
To open the chain link: Use a pair of pliers and a screwdriver
as shown above to open a chain link. Wrap the jaws of the
pliers with cloth to protect the nish.
CAUTION: If you are not familiar with wiring, you should
contact a qualied electrician.

Turn off the switch at the wall.
Turn the power off at the main fuse box.
Install the cross bar (BB) with nipple (FF), lock nut (DD)
to the outlet box using two outlet box screws (CC).
Unscrew the screw collar nut (II) from the screw collar
loop (HH).
Slide the screw collar nut (II) and then the canopy (GG) onto
the end of the chain (E).
Attach the quick link (LL) to the end link of the chain (E) and
attach the quick link (LL) to the screw collar loop (HH).
Insert the xture wires up through the nipple (FF).

Connecting the wires

Install the xture green ground wire (1) under the ground screw
(EE) on the cross bar (BB).
Connect the xture green ground wire (1) to the green (or bare,
or green and yellow) supply ground wire (2) in the outlet box using
a wire nut (AA).
Connect the white xture wire (3) to the white supply wire (4)
in the outlet box using a wire nut (AA).
Connect the black xture wire (5) to the black (or red, or blue)
supply wire (6) in the outlet box using a wire nut (AA).
NOTE: The quick link (LL) must be fully threaded closed.

Hanging the light fixture

Push all excess wires into the outlet box.
Raise the canopy (GG) to the ceiling and secure in place
by screwing the screw collar nut (II) onto the screw collar
loop (HH).

Care and Cleaning
Troubleshooting
□Clean the light xture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives.
