the hot tub
Check the hot tub first before the installation. Immediately contact the
seller in case any of the parts are broken or missing.Make sure that all the
components correspond to your order
. Check the hot tub before every use.
In
case of any damage, do not use the hot tub.
2.1 Preparation of the place for installation and connection to
electricity
Thehottubmustbeinstalledonaatandrmenoughbaseplatewithregardto
themaximumloadoftheconstruction.Forexteriorinstallationswerecommenda
constructionofamonolithicconcretebaseplateofminimumthicknessof10cm.Itis
alwaysnecessarytopickthemaximumloadofthebaseplatewithregardtothesize
andweightofthehottub.Consultwithyourconstructionsupervisor.Theweightis
adducedinthetechnicaldescriptionofthehottub.
Thehottubsarepreparedforanelectricalconnectionof400V~alternatingcurrent,
thereforeusearesidualcurrentdevice3×16A/Cor3×20A/Candagroundfault
circuitinterruptorcorrespondingtothisconnection.Itisfurtherneededtohavea
5×2.5mmcable.The cable must have additional 4 usable meters of length at the
point of the hot tubsothatitcanbeconnectedtothecontrolsystemwithoutany
complications.Donotplacethecableunderthehottub!
2.2 Preparation for the interior hot tub installation
Ifthehottubisinstalledinaninteriorspace,itisnecessarytocomplywithsafety
instructions.Thebasicsafetyrequirementsaremainlynon-skidoorsanddrainage
intheplaceoftheinstallationincaseofawateroverow.Itisalsocrucialtokeepin
mindthatthehumidityaroundthehottubwillriseandcandamagesurroundingelec-
tricappliances.Thereforewerecommendcustomizingtheplaceoftheinstallation

accordingtotheseconditions.The hot tub should be accessible from all sides for
future repair services.Ifitisnotsucientlyaccessibleduringtheguaranteeperiod,
theownerhasadutytoensuretheaccess.
2.3 Preparation for the exterior hot tub installation
Ifthehottubisinstalledinanexteriorspace,itisnecessarytocomplywithsafetyin-
structions.Thebasicsafetyrequirementsaremainlynon-skidoorsandwaterdrain-
ageincaseofarainfallorwateroverowfromthehottub.Thereforewerecommend
customizingtheplaceoftheinstallationaccordingtotheseconditions.
3 Installationofthehottub
Warning: connection to electricity must be done according to norms valid in
CzechRepublicČSN332000-7-701
3.1 General information
Westronglyrecommendyoutohireprofessionallytrainedandqualiedtechnicians
fortheprocessofinstallation.Ifyoudecidetoinstallthehottubbyyourself,please
abidebythefollowinginstructions.
a) Carefullyremoveallthepackagingmaterialfromthehottubandpositionthe
hottubonabeforehandselectedplaceofinstallation.
b) Demountthefrontpanelonthesideofthehottubcontrolpanel.Demountthe
uppercoverofanelectricalwiringunderwhichyoucanndaresidualcurrentde-
vice,agroundfaultcircuitinterruptor(ifitispartofthehottubequipment)and
agroundstaple.Theconnectionitselfmustbedonebyapersonwithanexpert
qualication.
c) Everyhottubistestedinreallifeconditionsduringtheproductionprocess,
thereforethereisapossibilitysometechnicalpartsofthehottubhaveremained
slightlydirty.Werecommendyoutocleanthesurfaceofthehottubusingasuit-
ablemethod;lukewarmwaterworksbestforthispurpose.Cleanthesurfaceus-
ingasoftclothonly.Don'tuseanyroughabrasivemeansandclothswhichcould
permanentlydamagethesurfaceofthehottub.Ifyoudecidetouseageneric
cleaningdetergent,itcannotbeaggressivetowardsthehottubsurface.

3.2 Filling the hot tub with water
Fillthehottubwithasucientamountofwater.Thelevelofwaterinthehottub
cannoteverfallundertheskimmerlevel.Ifyounoticeawaterleak,stopthewater
untilthedefectisxed.Hottubsdonotpossessthetechnologyforwater-softening
andhardwatercanbedamagingtothem.Thedamagescausedbypoorhandlingand
upkeeparenotcoveredbytheguarantee.
a) Fillthehottubthroughaskimmertopreventanoveraerationofthecirculation
pumps.
b) Donotllthehottubwithwateroftemperatureover104°F.
c) Oncethewaterreachesthedesiredlevel,putthecartridgelterinsidethe
skimmer.Tiltthelterduringtheinstallationtopreventairbubbles.Onlyafter
removingtheairfromthelter,installthelterintoplace.
3.3 Running the power supply of the hot tub
Ifthehottubisconnectedbyamovingsupplycable,thiscablecannotcomeincon-
tactwithsharpobjectsorbeexposedtoexternalforces.Thereforewerecommend
puttingthesupplycableinsideaprotectivecase.Turnonaresidualcurrentdevice
intendedforahottub.
3.4 Programming of the hot tub control unit using the control
panel
Nowyoucanstarttheprogrammingofthehottub.Theprocessisdescribedinthe
chapter“Controlpanel”.Afteryouarenishtheprogramming,coverthehottubwith
athermocoverandletthewatertemperaturetostabilize.Checkthewaterlevel
insidethehottubregularly.
4 AquaticAVaudiosystem

Ifyouwanttoplaymusicfromanexternaldevice,itisnecessarytopairthedevice
withthehottubrst(phone,tablet,computer).Turnonthebluetoothsystemonyour
externaldeviceandsearchfortheAQUATICdevice.Theconnectionisnotrestrictedby
acodeandonlyoneconnectioncanbeactiveatatime.Youcanplaymusicimmediately
afterthedevicesaresuccessfullypaired.Youcancontrolallthefunctionsoftheaudio
systemonyourconnectedexternaldevice.

5.2 Navigation
Navigatingtheentiremenustructureisdoneusingthetouchscreenofthecontrol
panel.Thepanelsettingsareadaptedtotheparameterssetinthecontrolunit.
5.3 Filter cycles
Youcanaccessthisfunctionbypressingthesetupbuttononthemainscreen.Then
select the lterfromthemenu.Twoltercyclesareavailable.
a) Filter cycle 1
Theltercyclesaresetusingthestarttimeandtheendtime.Thedisplaycalculates
theltrationtimeanddisplaysitautomatically.Setthetimewhenthecycleshould
startandtheendtime.

Thetemperatureisdisplayedinthecenterofthemainscreen.Youcanchangethe
settingwiththearrowaboveandbelowthetemperature.(see picture on the next page)
Settheltercyclessothatoneworksinthemorningandtheotherintheafternoon,at
leasttwointhemorningandtwointheafternoon,dependingonthewaterqualityand
whirlpoolcapacity.
5.4 Time
Settingthetimeisimportantforthewhirlpooltofunction.Fromthemainscreen,
touch Settings.Inthenextselection,selecttheTimebutton.Toadjustthevalues,
touchthehoursandminuteswhenthevalueyoujustchangedchangescolor.Usethe
arrowsontherighttoadjustthemarkedvalue.Aftersetting,presstheconrmation
buttonbetweenthearrows.Usetheupanddownarrowstoeasilychangethehour,
minute,or12/24hoursettings.

numberandfunctionofthebuttonsdependsonthesettingsofthecontrolunitand
thewhirlpoolequipment).Ifthefunctionisactive,thebuttonishighlighted.The
intensityatwhichthepumpisonisrepresentedbythewheelsthatcirculatethe
buttonaroundthewheel.Ifthewhirlpoolisequippedwithtwospeedpumps,the
buttonhastwolevels,therstcirculatestwowheelsforcirculationandfouratthe
startofthemassagecircuit.Incasethewhirlpoolhasonlyone-speedpumps,thereis
apossibilitytoswitchthepumpson or o.
Thewaterowratethroughthenozzlescanbeadjustedbyturningthenozzlesto
theleftorright.Therefore,ifwaterisnotowingthroughthenozzle,itmaynotbea
malfunction;thenozzlemayonlybeclosed.Notallnozzlescanberegulatedinthisway.
Itisalsopossibletoregulatethepowerofthemassagewhilethemassageengineis
runningbyturningtheairintakevalveatthetopofthewhirlpool.

7 Upkeepofthehottub
7.1 General information
Donotexposethehottubtosunwithoutwaterinsideoracoverontop.Thedirect
sunlightcancausefadinganddeformationofthesurfacematerial.Whenyouarenot
usingthehottub,coveritwiththethermocover,regardlessofwhetheritisempty
orfull.Protectthehottubfromrainandsnow.Placethehottubunderagazeboora
roofifpossible.
a) Donotopenthecontrolunit.Therearenouser-xablepartsinside.
b) Drain,cleanandllthehottubwithcleanwateronregularschedule.
c) Cleantheltercartridgeatleastonceaweek.
d) Thehottubusershouldhaveapropershowerbeforeandaftertheuseofthe
hottub.
7.2 Removal and cleaning of the filter cartridge
Thehottubltercartridgecangetcloggedbycalcareousandmineralparticlesfrom
ahardwater,whichcanleadtoarestrictedwaterowinsidetheltrationsystem.
We recommend to clean the filter cartridge at least once a week.
Removethecartridgeandtheskimmerinsertion.Usingagardenhose,cleanthe
cartridgesothatnosettleddirtremainsinthecornersofthelter.Onceclean,put
theinsertionbacktotheskimmer.Putthecartridgeinsidetheskimmertanknext
andcloseit.Rememberthattheltercartridgehastobereplacedevery3– 6months.
Replaceitevensoonerifitisdamagedorclogged,itisnotusableinsuchstate.

7.3 Maintaining the quality of the water in the hot tub
WARNING: Always add the chemicals to the water, never the other way around.
Add the chemicals to the water only when there are no people inside. Use the
circulation pumps to mix the chemicals with the water. Store the chemicals
according to the instruction on their label.
a) Useasuitablewaterhardnessregulatorregularly(theHANSCRAFT SPA Water
hardness regulatorisrecommended)andfollowtheinstructionsonthechemi-
cals‘label.
b) Dependingonthefrequencyofuseofthehottub,testthewaterqualityregular-
lybyasuitablewaterqualitytester.
c) AdjustthewaterpHlevelaccordinglybysuitablewaterchemicals
(theHANSCRAFT SPA – pH PLUS and pH MINUS isrecommended).
d) AdjusttheCl(chlorine)levelwithsuitablewaterchemicals(HANSCRAFT SPA
– MULTI MINI 3 in 1 tabletsarerecommended).Followtheinstructionsonthe
chemicals‘label.
For the chlorine to have the desired effect, the pH level needs to be
adjusted first.
e) Werecommendyoutoclean/replacetheltercartridgebeforeaddingthe
chemicals.
Chlorine shock–incaseofextremepollution,itisnecessarytotreatthewaterwith
adoseoffastdissolvingchlorineandthusperformachlorineshock.ThepHlevelof
thehottubwaterhastobeadjustedto7.0–7.6rstandthechlorinelevelhastobe
checked.Onceaweekorafteraddingalargeamountoffreshwatertothehottub,
addashockdoseofchlorine10 –20g/m3(2tablespoons)intothewater.Addthechlo-
rineonlywhentherearenopeopleinthehottub.Afteryouaddthechlorine,turnon
thecirculationpumpssothatthechemicalsmixwellwiththewater.Ifyouareusing
agranulatedformofthechemical,dissolveitinasmallamountofwaterrst.Letthe
chlorineleveldropto3mg/lbeforeyoustartusingthehottub.
Oxygen shock–incaseofextremepollution,itisnecessarytotreatthewaterwitha
largedoseoffastdissolvingoxygenandthusperformanoxygenshock.ThepHlevel
ofthehottubwaterhastobeadjustedto7.0–7.6rstandtheoxygenconcentration
inthewaterhastobechecked.Onceaweekorafteraddingalargeamountoffresh
watertothehottub,addashockdoseofoxygen(2tablets)intothewater.Addthe

7.6 Hot tub hygiene and disinfection
Takingcareofhygieneisextremelyimportantforeliminationofanygerms,algaeand
otherharmfulorganismspollutingthewaterinthehottub.Testthewaterusingthe
testingkitrst(tondoutthepHandCllevel)andfollowbyusingsuitablewater
chemicalsaccordingly.Followtheinstructionsonthechemicals‘labelcarefully.
7.7 Thermo cover
Usingthethermocoverhelpssavingupenergyexpendituresbyminimizingtemper-
aturelossandevaporation.Thecoverisaneectivewayofprotectingyourhottub
fromimpuritiesandfallenleaves.

7.4 Replacing the water
Itisimportanttokeepthehottubwaterfreshandclean.Werecommendyouto
replacethewateratleastevery3monthsunlessthewaterqualitydropssooner.The
hottubwatercanbeusedforwateringthegardenforexample,giventhatithasnot
beenchemicallytreatedatleastoneweekprior.

Disconnectthehottubfromthepowersupply(turnotheresidualcurrentdevice).
b) Checkthepowersupplycableandmakesureitisnotwet.
c) Drainthewaterthroughawaterdrainagesystem,closeitcarefullyandllthe
hottubwithfreshwater.
d) Connectthehottubbacktotheelectricalcircuit(turnontheresidualcurrent
device).

WARNING: For safety and damage prevention reasons, do not sit, stand or lie
on top of the cover. Do not place any objects on top of it. The thermo cover
does not serve as a fence around the bathing area either. Do not let animals
walk on top of the thermo cover. Prevent a large snow layer build up on top of
the thermo cover.
7.8 Upkeep of the thermo cover and upkeep instructions
Itisimportanttotakeapropercareofthethermocover:cleanitwhennecessary
andtreatitwithaproductintendedespeciallyforaneco-leatherorfakeleather.The
guaranteedoesnotcoverdamagescausedbyaninappropriatecleaningproduct.
a) Therightbalanceofwaterchemicalsrepresentsanimportantfactorinprolonging
thelongevityofyourhottubthermocover.
b) Removethehottub'scoverandplaceitonthegroundsurfacedown.
c)
Washthecoverwithalargeamountofwaterfromagardenhoseorawaterbucket.
d) Cleanthethermocoversurfaceusingasoftbrushandamilddishsoapsolution
(1teaspoonofdishsoapper8litresofwater).
Attention: Do not let the dish soap solution dry on the thermo cover before
washing it off!
e) Washothecleaningsolutionthoroughly.
f) Returnthecoverbackonthehottub.
g) Openthethermocoverregularlysothatthechemicalvapourscandisperse.Flip
thethermocoverinnersideuatleasttwiceayearfor3–4hours.
h) Ifthethermocoverdoesnotgetregularlycleanedtwiceamonth,thesurface
materialcanbecomefrailorageprematurely.Theseamscanseparate.Ifyoudo
notcleanthethermocoverappropriately,theguaranteebecomesinvalid.
WARNING: Do not lift the thermo cover by the handles. A vacuum forms between
the thermo cover and the hot tub therefore lifting by the handles could result in
a damage. It is necessary to support the thermo cover from below by hand.
8 Winterandsummertime
Winterizing the hot tub, a process recommended by the producer.
Itisrequiredthatallwatergetsdrainedfromthehottubduringtheprocessof
winterizingit,aswellaswaterfromallthetechnicalpartsofthehottub(circulation
pumps,pipes,etc.)Werecommendyoutouseourspecializedserviceforthispurpose
becauseawedwinterizingofthehottubcanresultinalossoftheguarantee.

Ifyoudecidetouseourprofessionalservices,itisnecessarytoorderthemsucient
amountoftimeinadvance.Incaseofwinterizingthehottubbyyourself,itiscrucial
todoitwhentheairtemperatureisstillabovezero.Ifthewinterizingisdoneintem-
peraturesbelowzero,itcanbeverydicultbecausewaterinthemotorscouldhave
frozenalreadyanddamagedsomepartsofthehottub.
8.1 Winter time – using the hot tub, all year operation (SLP)
Ifyoudecidetokeepusingthehottubduringthewintertime,itisnecessarytokeep
checkingthehottubforcasesofforexample:circuitbreakfailure,motornotwork-
ing,heatingnotworking,ltercartridgegettingclogged.
If the instructions above are not complied with and it results in a damage of
the hot tub, the warranty cannot be claimed.
8.2 Summer time
Donotexposethehottubtodirectsunlight;donotuseinappropriatecleaningdeter-
gentsforupkeep.Preventthehottubsurfacecomingindirectcontactwithchemicals
aswellassurfacescratchescausebysharpobjects.Ensurethesafetyofchildreninthe
hottubbyacontinuousadultsupervision.Onlyeligiblepersonsover18yearsofage,
educatedaboutthewholeprocess,canbeoperatingthehottub.Thesamegoesfor
handlingthewaterchemicals,whichhavetobestoredoutofchildren’sreach.
