T-60 is equipped with GRS meters and to ensure accurate operation
Please do not do the followings
1. Do not remove the reflective tape on the bottom of the platter otherwise the GRS
meter will not operate.
2. Do not use the SC-30 for operations other than HANSS ACOUSTICS
turntables.

Installing the Battery for GRS meter
3. Please place and fit the Aluminum Platter on the bearing housing.
Take the chassis out from the protective packaging and locate the small battery compartment
under the chassis. Unscrew and plug in the 9V battery.
Leveling the turntable to match your rack
Place the turntable on a stable surface along with the supplied bubble level meter and height
adjustable feet for the initial leveling.

SILICON BELT INSTALLATION
6 pcs of silicon belt has been provided. Please place the belt around the aluminum
platter together on the acrylic pully on top of the motor housing
LEVELING THE TURNTABLE
It is very important to level the turntable before any adjustments. Therefore please
position the T-60 on a stable surface which would be suitable for the operation. Please
make use of the bubble level meter to get he turntable on the horizontal level as
possible. You may also level the turntable by using the 3 magnetic levitated feet by
turning them.

CONNECTING THE SC-30 SPEED CONTROLLER
With the motor in place you can connect the SC-30 speed controller. Do not connect any
power before the motor is connected to SC-30. Take the motor external power cable and
connect it to the provided slot on the rear of SC-30.
Now plug it into your AC wall outlet for operation.
SPEED AUJUSTMENT USING TH GRS METER & SC-30
T-60 is equipped with a GRS meter (PictureA) and SC-30 speed controller.
Both can be used in conjunction to calibrate the speed of motor to an accurate setting for
both 33.3rpm and 45rpm playback. Press the power “ON” of the SC-30 and then select
33.3rpm or 45rpm for operation. Next switch “ON” the motor housing and the platter will
begin to rotate slowly. Please allow the platter to rotate for 2-3 minutes before checking
the speed.
After the platter has been rotating for few minutes you may check the speed of the
platter by pressing the button located on the plinth which is next to the display to
activate the digital read out of the speed of the platter. After several seconds you will see
the correct speed on the display. If you find the speed is a bit slow or fast you may adjust
the speed by using the rotary on the SC-30 under each speed indicated. After each
adjustments please check the display for the new speed. Once you have worked on
getting the correct speed as possible. You may turn off the display by pressing down the
button next to the display to turn off the display.

defects provided proper operation for a period of two years from the original dat of purchase.
Each HANSS ACOUSTICS distributor is responsible to honour the warranty during this time.
Any unauthorized servicing or modification of the equipment shall immediately voids the 2
