Hanwha - WRT/WWT-3301/5301 - Hard Drive -
Field Replacement Unit
This document will demonstrate how to replace and install Hard Drives for the WRT/WWT units.
Step 1 - Prepare for Hard Drive Replacement
Before removing the lid and performing any work inside the chassis,
please ensure:
●You have powered down the unit via the Windows interface;
●The power cable has been removed from the unit;
●You are properly grounded. Simple ways to ground yourself are:
●Wearing an ESD strap.
●Making contact with a grounded portion of the chassis.
Step 2 - Contents of FRU Replacement Kit
●The kit will contain:
●Replacement Hard Drive(s)
●(1) FRU Guide PDF

Step 3 - Drive Tray Prep
●Open the front bezel door to gain access to the Hard Drives.
●Press the Blue button on the drive latch upward and the Drive Tray handle will pop out.
●The drive tray can be slid out of the unit now.
●Remove the plastic drive blank.
●Pull the two tabs away from the outside of the drive tray to release the drive blank.
Step 4 - Install Hard Drive
●Prepare the Drive Tray, Drive, and (4) Screws
●The drive will t into the drive tray.
●Use the (4) hard drive screws to secure the drive to the drive tray
●(2) hard drive screws per side of the drive.

Step 5 - Install Hard Drive 2
●Slide the drive back into the drive bay and push the drive arm down until it locks in place.
●Repeat this process for as many drives as required.
●Hard Drive Installation is complete.
