Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING: When using product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this product!
1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Observe work area conditions. Keep work area well lighted.
3. Store idle equipment. When not in use, products must be stored in a dry location to inhibit
damage from moisture and salt air.
4. Check for damaged parts. Before using any product, any part that appears damaged should
be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function.
Check for any broken or damaged parts and any other conditions that may affect its operation.
Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
5. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
Use of any other parts will void the warranty.
6. Use eye and ear protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles when
assembling this product.
7. Wear gloves and avoid sharp edges when assembling.
8. Always check hardware and assembled parts after assembling. All connections should be
tight and hardware tightened.
9. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not reach over or
across the Barbeque. Be aware that the Barbeque will become very hot during operation, and
for a period of time after use.

10. The Barbeque is designed for outdoor use only. Do not use this product in a trailer, tent,
house, garage, or any enclosed area.
11. Always use the Barbeque in an open area away from buildings, dry leaves or brush. Be
aware of wind blown sparks.
12. Avoid high pedestrian traffic areas. Do not allow people or pets to conduct any activity near
the Barbeque while the unit is in use, or following its use. The Barbeque is hot during use, and
will remain hot for a period of time after use.
13. Never use gasoline, kerosene, or other highly volatile fluids as a starter as they can
explode.
14. Make certain all parts of the Barbeque are firmly in place and that it is positioned on a
flat, level, fire retardant surface.
15. Never leave the Barbeque unattended while lit.
16. Do not clean the Barbeque with cleaners that are combustible or corrosive.
17. Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area. Do not let them handle
machines, tools, or extension cords.
Warning: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot
cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by
the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into
this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
Assembly
Your Fire Pit/Barbeque will require complete assembly prior to use. It is important that you read the
entire manual to become familiar with the product BEFORE you use the Fire Pit/Barbeque. Before
assembling the Fire Pit/Barbeque be sure that you have all parts described in the Parts List and
Assemby Diagram located on the last pages of this manual.
Step 1) Set the Door Frame (F) onto the Base (A). Place a Spring Washer (W1) on a Round
Head Phillips Bolt (S1). Slide one, Round Head Phillips Bolt (S1) down through the
Door Frame (F) and through the Base (A). Thread (but do not tighten) on one Nut
(N1) to hold Base (A) and Door Frame (F) together. Repeat steps for the other side
of Door Frame (F). Now tighten both Nuts (N1) to securely hold Door Frame and
Base together.
Step 2) Set the Back Panel (H) onto the Base (A) opposite the Door Frame (F). Place a
Spring Washer (W1) on a Flat Head Phillips Bolt (S1). Slide one, Round Head
Phillips Bolt (S1) down through the Back Panel (H) and through the Base (A). Thread
(but do not tighten) on one Nut (N1) to hold Base (A) and Back Panel (H) together.
Repeat steps for the other side of Back Panel (H). Now tighten both Nuts (N1) to
securely hold Back Panel and Base together.
Step 3) On one side, slide one Side Panel (G) down between the Back Panel (H) and Door
Frame (F) until the Side Panel (G) rest in the fixed tabs at the bottom of the Door
Frame and Back Panel. On one side, align the holes in the Door Frame (F) and Side
Panel (G) and screw in (do not tighten) one Flat Head Phillips Bolt (S2). On the same
side, now align the holes in the Back Panel (H) and Side Panel (G) and screw in one
Flat Head Phillips Bolt (S2). Now tighten both Flat Head Phillips Bolts with Cap Nuts
(N2) to securely hold the Side Panel to the Door Frame and Back Panel. Repeat the
steps above to install a Side Panel on the other side.

Step 4) Set the pins on the Chimney (J) down into the four corner holes on the Top (I). Fasten
the Chimney (J) to the Top (I) using four Spring Washers (W1) and four Nuts (N1) and
then tighten nuts securing the Top and Chimney together - see Figure 2.
Step 5) Set the Cap (K) down on the Chimney (J). Fasten the Cap (K) to the Chimney (J) by
inserting one Flat Head Phillips Bolt (S1), with Spring Washer (W1), through the
two opposite holes in the Chimney and through the holes in the Cap. Fasten in place
with a Nut (N1) - see Figure 2.
Step 6) The Top (I) is attached to the Back Panel (H) and Door Frame (F) with 2 Pins (M).
Set the Top (I) squarely on the Back Panel (H), Door Frame (F), and Side Panels (G).
Slide a Pin (M) through the eyelet in the Top (I), through the eyelet in the Door
Frame (F) and through the second eyelet in the Top (I). Slide a Pin (M) through the
eyelet in the Top (I), through the eyelet in the Back Panel (H)) and through the
second eyelet in the Top (I)-see Figure 1.
Step 7) Slide the two (2) pins on the side of each Front Door (E) down through the two (2)
eyelets on the side of the Door Frame (F)-see Figure 3.

Operation
When operating your Combination Fire Pit/Barbeque, refer to each of the operational Figures as
well as to the Parts List and Assembly Diagram located on the last page of this manual.
Use as a Fire Pit
The Combination Fire Pit/Barbeque can be used both ways, as the name indicates. To use as a
Fire Pit, set the Ash Tray (B) down inside the Base (A). Set the Grate (C) down inside the Ash
Tray (B).
Use as a Grill
To use as a Grill, remove the Top (I) along with the Chimney (J) and Cap (K). Set the Ash Tray (B)
on the second set of moveable tabs. Place the Toast Grate (L) on the next (first) set of moveable
tabs. Do not replace or use the Top, Chimney or Cap when using as a Grill.
The Toast Grate (L ) can also be set on top of the Ash Tray (B) as it sits inside of the Base (A).
The Fire Pit/Barbeque also comes with two (2) Hooks (D) to move wood and barbeque ashes while
they are in the Fire Pit/Barbeque.
Warning: Always use the Hooks (D) to move items in the Fire Pit/Barbeque. Never use your
hands or feet to reach in and move any objects as this may result in burns and
severe injury.
When unpacking your Combination Fire Pit/Barbeque, check to make sure the following parts are
included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS at
1-800-444-3353.
