retardant hand mitts when using the Oven.
4. KEEP A FIRE EXTINGUISHER CLOSE AT HAND. Always keep a fully charged,
commercial grade fire extinguisher nearby the Oven in case of accidental fire.
5. NEVER LEAVE THE OVEN UNATTENDED ONCE IT IS TURNED ON. Turn off
the Oven, and wait until it has completely cooled before leaving.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
NOTE: For additional references to the parts listed below, refer to the Assembly
Diagram on page 9.
The Power Switch: (See Figure B.)
1. Depending on your specific powder coating requirements, the Power Switch (part
#6) features five separate settings:
“0” Turns the Oven off.
“1” Allows only the extreme top and bottom portions of the inner Oven to heat
up.
SKU 47901 PAGE 5

“2” Allows only the top half portion of the inner Oven to heat up.
“3” Allows only the bottom half portion of the inner Oven to heat up.
“4” Allows the entire inner portion of the Oven to heat up.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL (#8)
INDICATOR LIGHT (#7)
POWER SWITCH (#6)
FIGURE B
The Temperature Control: (See Figure B.)
1. The Temperature Control (part #8) has a temperature range of 100 degree
Fahrenheit to 600 degree Fahrenheit, and may be adjusted in 50 degree
Fahrenheit increments. Note: Always make sure you have the proper
temperature setting for the kind of powder coating you are curing.
The Indicator Light: (See Figure B.)
1. The Indicator Light (part #7) automatically illuminates, and stays lit, when the
Power Switch (part #6) is turned to either the “1”, “2”, “3”, or “4” setting, indicating
that the Oven is on. The Indicator Light will automatically turn off when the Power
Switch is turned to its “0” (off) position.
The Oven “Cycle Time:”
1. Typically, the complete Oven cycle time for a powder coated object is obtained
by adding the “heating up” time and the “dwell” time. The heating up time is the
time it takes for the powder coated object to reach the desired temperature. The
dwell time is the time required for the powder to cure properly.
SKU 47901 PAGE 6

To obtain the complete Oven cycle time, consult with the manufacturer’s manual
of the powder coating and, if necessary, the manufacturer’s manual of the object
being powder coated.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. CAUTION: To avoid accidental burns, make sure to wear an ANSI approved
shatterproof/fire retardant full face shield, fire retardant full length apron, and fire
retardant hand mitts when using the Oven.
2. Remove one or both of the Trays (part #10) from the inner Oven, and place them
on a workbench. Then place the powder coated objects into the Trays, and
temporarily leave the Trays on the workbench.
3. Connect the Power Plug (part #9) to a grounded, 120 volt, 3-prong electrical
outlet. (See Assy. Diagram.)
4. Turn the Power Switch (part #6) to the desired setting (either “1,” “2,” “3,” or “4,”
depending on the specific area(s) of the inner Oven you wish to heat).
(See Figure B.)
5. At this time, the Indicator Light (part #7) will illuminate. (See Figure B.)
6. Turn the Temperature Control (part #8) to the desired setting. (See Figure B.)
7. Allow sufficient time (at least 30 minutes) for the inner Oven temperature to reach
the desired temperature setting on the Temperature Control (part #8).
(See Figure B.)
8. Open the Oven Door (part #3), and carefully set the Trays (part #10), with the
powder coated objects, on the Racks of the inner Oven. (See Assy. Diagram.)
9. Observe a stopwatch (not provided) until the Oven cycle time is completed. Then
turn the Temperature Control (part #8) to its lowest setting, and turn the Power
Switch (part #6) to its “0” (off) position. (See Figure B.)
10. Open the Oven Door (part #3), and carefully remove the powder coated objects
from the Oven. (See Assy. Diagram.) Always wear fire retardant hand mitts
when working with the oven.
11. To insure a safe cool down of the Oven, and avoid having the hot open door as a
possible obstacle, it is best to close the Oven Door (part #3), and allow the Oven
to completely cool.

INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING
1. CAUTION: Always turn the Power Switch (part #6) to its “OFF” position, and
unplug the Oven from its electrical outlet before performing any inspection,
maintenance, or cleaning.
2. BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the Oven. Check for
misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, damaged
electrical wiring, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation. If
abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected before further
use. Do not use damaged equipment.
3. TO TEST THE OVEN TEMPERATURE CONTROL (part #8): Periodically, a
commercial grade, previously tested and approved, thermometer (not provided)
should be placed on the upper Tray (part #10) within the Oven. Close the Oven
Door (part #3). Turn the Power Switch (part #6) to any one of the four settings,
and set the Temperature Control (part #8) at 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Allow at
least a 30 minute warm up time. Then check the temperature reading on the
thermometer. If the thermometer reading is 10 degrees above or below the
preset 200 degree mark on the Temperature Control, the Temperature Control
should be adjusted. Only a qualified technician should perform adjustments
to the Temperature Control.
4. DAILY: With a soft brush or cloth, remove all dirt and debris from the Oven. Do
not immerse the Oven in any liquids.
