IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using this electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed:
1. Before use, check that the voltage of wall outlet corresponds to the coffee maker’s rating
plate.
2. The appliance must be earthed.
3. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children.
4. Do not place the coffee maker on a hot surface or beside fire, so as to avoid damage or
injury.
5. Remove the power plug from the wall outlet before cleaning and when not in use. Allow the
appliance to cool down completely before taking off, attaching components or before
cleaning.
6. Do not operate in case of a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
7. The use of any accessory which is not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injury
to persons or damage to the appliance.
8. Place the appliance on a flat surface or table, do not hang its power cord over the edge of
tables or counters.
9. Ensure that the power cord does not touch the hot surface of the appliance.
10. Some parts of the appliance become hot when in operation, so do not touch with your hands
directly.
11. Do not immerse the appliance or its power cord into water or any other liquids for cleaning.
12. Never leave the empty carafe on the keeping warm plate otherwise the carafe is liable to
crack.
13. Do not use outdoors.
14. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above only if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they
understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of
reach of children aged less than 8 years. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge only if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
15. Children should be supervised to sure that they do not play with the appliance.
16. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
17.Save these instructions booklet for future reference.

KNOW YOUR COFFEE MAKER
BEFORE FIRST USE
Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Add clean water up to
maximum level and brew several times without coffee powder according to the steps below, and
then discard the water. Wash the detachable parts thoroughly with warm water.
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Open the water tank lid and fill with cold drinking water. The water level should not exceed
MAX level as indicated on the water gauge.
2. Swing the funnel holder out, put the filter into funnel holder, then place a filter paper in the filter,
and make sure it is assembled correctly.
3. Add coffee powder into paper filter. Usually a cup of coffee needs a level spoon of coffee
powder, but you may adjust according to your personal taste. Close the funnel holder, a click
sound will be heard when the funnel holder is closed completely.
4. Insert the carafe on the warming plate horizontally.
5. Plug the power cord into the outlet.
6. By pressing the switch, the indicator will be illuminated and the appliance will begin its operation.
Note: during brewing process you may remove the carafe to serve and the coffee maker
will stop dripping automatically. If the serve time exceeds 30 seconds the coffee will
overflow from the funnel.
7. Upon completion of brewing coffee, that is one minute later after the coffee stops dripping out,
you can remove the carafe, pour and serve.

Note: the brewed coffee you get will be slightly less than the water you have added as
some water is absorbed by coffee powder. DO NOT touch the cover, warming plate and so
on when operating as they are very hot.
8. When the process is finished, if you do not want to serve immediately, keep the switch on, the
coffee can be kept warm in the warming plate for 40 minutes and the appliance will be cut off
automatically after 40 minutes. For an optimum coffee taste, serve it just after brewing.
9. Always turn the coffee maker off and disconnect the power supply after use.
Note: Be careful when pouring the coffee out, as the temperature of the coffee is high.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
1、 Disconnect from the power supply and let the coffee maker cool down completely before
cleaning.
2、 Clean the housing of the coffee maker with dump soft cloth. Regularly clean the water tank,
the removable funnel, and the metal filter.
Note: Do not clean with alcohol or solvent cleanser. Never immerse the housing in water for
cleaning.
3、 Detach the funnel, get rid of coffee residue inside, then you can clean it with cleanser, and
thoroughly rinse with clear water.
4、 Clean all the attachments in the water and dry thoroughly.
CLEANING MINERAL DEPOSITS
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should clean away the mineral deposits
left by the water every month or according to the water quality in your area and the frequency of
using the appliance. The detail is as follows: fill the carafe with one part of white vinegar and
three parts of cold water, pour the water and vinegar mixture into the tank and brew as per the
“Before the first use” instructions. You can repeat this process until no yellow liquid comes out,
then pour out the mixture, and repeat by brewing with tap water until no vinegar odor is left..
