Thank you for buying Havells appliance. To enable
your product to give you many years of perfect trouble
free service, we recommend you to carefully follow
the instructions of the manual.When using electrical
appliances, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
• Read and follow all the instructions under “Use And
Care” even if you are familiar with the product, and find
a place to keep it handy for future reference.
• Your attention is drawn particularly to the sections
concerning “Important Instructions”, “Use & Care”,
“Warranty”and“Service”statements.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
• Donotoperateanyproductwith adamagedcordor
plug, or after the product malfunction, or is dropped or
appears damaged in any way.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse
or expose the product or flexible cord to rain, moisture
or any liquid other than those necessary for correct
operation of the product.
• This product should not be used in the immediate
vicinity of water, such as bathtub, washbowls or any
other vessel containing water or other liquids, or when
standing in/on a damp or wet surface.
•Switch off and unplug from outlet when not in use,
before assembling or disassembling parts and before
cleaning.Removebygrippingtheplug-donotpullon
the cord.
•Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table,
counter or touch hot surface.
• Do not use the appliance for other than its intended
use.
•Donotleavetheapplianceunattendedwhenswitched
on.

near any hot surfaces (such as a gas or electric burner
or hotplate or in a heated oven).

USE & CARE
IMPORTANT
For safety purpose you should read these instructions
carefully before using the iron for the first time.
DO’S
• Checkthemainsvoltagestatedontheiron.
• Unwindandstraightenthepowercordbeforeuse.
• Switchon the ironbyturning theTemperatureDial in
clockwise direction; pilot light will glow.
•TurntheTemperatureDialaccordingtofabric.
•Switchoff theironby turning the TemperatureDialin
anti-clockwise direction when it is not in use, even for a
shortperiodoftime.TurntheTemperatureDialto‘Min’
position.
•Disconnect the iron from mains supply outlet when
filling or emptying water.
• Removethewaterfromwatertankaftereveryuse.
•UsetheSelf-CleaningfunctionatleastonceaWeek.
•Ifthesupplycordisdamaged,itmustbereplacedby
the manufacturer or its service centres in order to avoid
a hazard.

DO NOT’S
•Donotallowchildrentotouchtheironorthepower
cord when ironing.
•Donotleavetheironunattendedwhenitisconnected
to a mains supply outlet.
•Do not use an extension power cord set unless
competent authority has approved it.
• Donotaddperfume,vinegarorotherchemicalliquids
into the water tank; they can damage the iron seriously.
•Donotimmersetheironinwateroranyotherliquid.
•Do not use the iron when it is damaged or it works
improperly.
•Donotrollthepowercordaroundtheironforstorage
until it has cooled down completely.
IRONING TIPS
• Sort out the articles to be ironed according to the
type of fabric. This will minimize the frequency of
temperature adjustment for different garments.
• Tryironingasmall areaonthebacksideorinside the
garment if you are unsure about the type of fabric. Start
with a low temperature and increase gradually.
• Wait for about three minutes before ironing heat
sensitive fabrics. Temperature adjustment needs
certain time to reach the required level no matter it is
higher or lower.
•Delicatefabricssuchassilk,wool,velour,etc.arebest
ironed with an ironing cloth to prevent shine marks.
•Youmay requireafewnumberofpressestoactivate
thespray, burst and vertical burst function. Read the
garment labels and follow the manufacturer’s ironing
instructions that are often shown by symbols similar to
the following:
FILLING THE WATER TANK
• Disconnecttheironfrommainssupplyoutlet.
•MovetheSteamControlKnobto‘0’position.
•ReleasetheWaterInletCover
•Fillwaterthroughthewaterinlethole.
•Filluptothe‘Max’level markedonthe sideofwater
tank.
FIRST TIME IRONING
•Removeanyprotectivelmsor stickersfromthesole
plate.
•Unwindandstraightenthepowercord.
•Fill the water tank as described in “FILLING THE
WATERTANK”.
•Connecttheirontoasuitablemainssupplyoutlet.
•Turn the Temperature Dial in clockwise direction to
maximum position; pilot light will glow.
• Pilot light goes off when the required temperature is
reached.
• Move the Steam Control Knob to position , steam
starts coming out from the holes in the sole plate.
•Beginrsttimeironingwithanoldfabrictoremoveany
dirt marks from the sole plate.
SPRAY FEATURE
• Thisfunctioncanbeusedanytimeanddoesnotaffect
any setting.
• Fill the water tank as described in “FILLING THE
WATERTANK”.
• Aimthenozzleatthegarment.
• PresstheSprayButton
• Thespray featureis apowerfulwater spray mistthat
dampens the fabric to aid in removing wrinkles from
fabrics and for setting creases.
NOTE:Itmaybenecessarytopressthespraybuttona
few times to start this function.
STEAM IRONING
•Filltheironasdescribedforllingthewatertank.
•PleaseensurethatSteamControlKnobshouldbeinoff
position while filling the water
•Connecttheirontoasuitablemainssupplyoutlet.
• Turn the Temperature Dial in clockwise direction
according to fabric.
• Pilotlightglowsindicatingtheironisswitchedon.
•Pilot light goes off when the required temperature is
reached.
• Theironisreadyforuse.
•MovetheVariableSteamControlKnobto give the
desired amount of steam.
•TurntheTemperatureDialinanti-clockwisedirectionto
‘Min’;theironisswitchedoff.
•Disconnecttheironfrommainssupplyoutlet.
•Whentheirongetscoolcompletely,storeitverticallyin
a safe place.
NOTE: Set the Steam Control Knob to ‘0’position after
use.
BURST OF STEAM
This function provides extra amount of steam to remove
stubborn wrinkles.
• Fill the iron as described in the section of lling the
water tank.
• TurntheTemperatureDialaccordingtofabric.
• Pilotlightglowsindicatingtheironisswitchedon.
• Pilot light goes off when the required temperature is
reached.
• Theironisreadyforuse.
• PresstheBurstofSteamButtononce.
• Steamwillshoot fromtheholes ofthe soleplate into
the fabric being ironed and removes the wrinkles.
• For stubborn wrinkles, wait a few seconds before
pressing the Burst of Steam Button again. Most
wrinkles can be removed within three presses.

•Restyoursteamironbackonitsheelrestandallowto
fully cool down.
•Wipethesoleplatewithacolddampcloth.
•Dependinguponusageandqualityofwateryou may
use self-clean function as explained above once in
Seven days.
CAUTION:Keepskin/bodyawayfromthehotwater.
DRY IRONING
•Connecttheirontoasuitablemainssupplyoutlet.
• Turn the Temperature Dial in clockwise direction
according to fabric
•Pilotlightglowsindicatingtheironisswitchedon.
• When the required temperature is reached, pilot light
goes off. The iron is ready for use.
• Keep variable steam knob at off position while dry
ironing.
•MovetheTemperatureDialinanti-clockwisedirectionto
‘Min’afterusage,theironisswitchedoff.
•Disconnecttheironfrommainssupplyoutlet.
•Whentheirongetscoolcompletely,storeit
ANTI-DRIP
• Anti-drip system, which is designed to prevent water
escaping from the soleplate when the iron is too cold
automatically.
• During use, the anti-drip system may emit a loud
clicking sound, particularly during heat-up or while
cooling down. This is perfectly normal and indicates
that the system is functioning correctly.
BUILD-IN ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM
The build-in anti-scale cartridge is designed to reduce the
build-up of lime scale which occurs during steam ironing.
This will prolong the working life of your iron. However,
please note that the anti-scale cartridge will not completely
stop the natural process of lime scale build-up.
DRAINING THE WATER
• MovetheSteamControlKnobto‘0’position.
• Disconnecttheironfromthemainssupplyoutlet.
• Hold the iron upside down and gently shake it to
remove any remaining water out of filling hole.
CLEANING THE IRON
• Disconnecttheironfromthemainssupplyoutlet.
• Use a damped cloth or non-scratching cleansers to
remove any deposits on the sole plate or the cabinets.
NOTE: Never use sharp or rough objects to remove
thedepositsonthe sole plate. Never use any abrasive,
vinegar or descaling agents to clean the iron.
WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS*
Havells India Ltd. (“Company”) hereby offers a limited
warranty (“Warranty”) for Steam Iron (“Product”)
purchased in India, against manufacturing defect/s for a
period of 2 (two) years from the date of purchase invoice.
To avail Warranty services, customer can log in his
BURST OF STEAM IN VERTICAL POSITION
WARNING:
Do not apply steam on any clothes or fabrics that are
being worn by human or pets. Temperature of steam is
very high. This function provides extra amount of steam to
remove wrinkles on delicate garments in hanging position,
hanging curtains, or other hanging fabrics.
• Fill the iron as described in the section of lling the
water tank.
• TurntheTemperatureDialto‘Max’setting.
•Pilotlightglowsindicatingtheironisswitchon.
•Pilot light goes off when the required temperature is
reached. The iron is now ready for use.
•Holdtheironbetween15cmand30cmawayfromthe
garment.
•PresstheBurstofSteamButtononce.
•Steam will penetrate into the garment removing the
wrinkles.
•For stubborn wrinkles, wait for few seconds before
pressing the Burst of Steam Button again.
NOTE:
It may be necessary to press the burst of steam button
a few times to start this function. For optimum steam
quality, do not operate the Burst of Steam more than three
times after the pilot light goes off.
SELF-CLEANING
This function removes the scales and minerals built up
in the Steam Chamber. The iron will remain in the best
condition if this function is performed at least once a week
or more regularly depending on the hardness of the water
used.
• Filltheiron as described in “ll the water tank” up to
half.
• Placetheirononasurfaceinuprightstandingposition.
• Connecttoamainssupplyoutlet.
•Turn the Temperature Dial in clockwise direction to
‘Max’setting.
•Pilotlightglowsindicatingtheironisswitchedon.
•Pilot light goes off when the required temperature is
reached.
• Waitforonemorecycle;pilotlightglowsandgoesoff.
•TurntheTemperatureDialinanti-clockwisedirectionto
‘Min’.
•Disconnecttheironfrommainssupplyoutlet.
•Holdtheironhorizontallyoverasink.
•Pulloutthesteamshaft
• Steam and boiling hot water will drain from the holes
on the soleplate washing away the scales and minerals
that have built up inside the Steam Chamber.
• Gentlymovetheironbackandforthuntilthewatertank
is empty.
•WhenSelf-Cleaningiscomplete,placethesteamshaft
to its position.

original invoice and wherever possible original Warranty
Certicate(dulysignedandstampedbytheSellingDealer)
totheAuthorisedServiceRepresentative.
This Warranty is for repair or replacement of parts only
and the decision to either repair or replace shall be sole
discretion of the Company. All recommendations and
decisions of the Company and its Authorised Service
Representative shall be binding and complied by the
customer to continue to avail Warranty services.
Warranty of repaired and replaced part shall thereafter
continue only for unexpired period of Warranty and
defective spare part shall be property of Company or its
Authorized Service Partner during Warranty period.
Company will not be liable for any delay or failure in
performance resulting from causes beyond its control
including non-availability of any part, labour problem,
restrictions and regulations of the government, public
movement, war and any other unavoidable/unforeseen
circumstances including any force majeure event,
specially vis-à-vis the import of supplies and raw material.
It is clarified that the Company will not be responsible
towards the customer for any economic loss, commercial
loss, consequential or resulting liability, damage to the
property or any other harm or loss.
WARRANTY EXCLUDES OR DOES NOT APPLY:
• If the Product is serviced or repaired by any person
other than the Authorized Service Representative of
the Company.
• If customer violates Warranty Terms and Conditions,
instruction manual guidelines, recommendations of
AuthorisedServiceRepresentativeand/oroperatesthe
Product otherwise than as per Product specifications.
• IftheserialnumberafxedontheProductisdamaged,
erased or tampered with or if Product is refurbished/
modified.
• If the Product is operated in conditions otherwise
than normal conditions (e.g., abnormal voltage surge,
extreme environmental conditions etc.).
• IftheProductisusedforanycommercialpurpose.
• Anydamage caused due to scaling, dust and useof
wrong water etc.
• Cordisdamagedduetotightwrappingorkinking.
• Any harm caused due to accident, negligence,
improper maintenance, mishandling, tampering,
incurred in transit by the customer or which can be
attributed to the fault of the customer.
• Any harm resulting from any unforeseeable
circumstances such as force majeure event etc.
• Anyharm causeddue toanydefect inany electrical/
civil installation(s), wiring or third party products.
• Any damage to the Product due to household pets,
rodent or any other insect/animals.
• Consumable Parts, corrosion and rusting of the
Product.
E-WASTE DISPOSAL
Environmental Compliances:
As per the rules laid down by the Government for
environmental concern & safety, your product has been
made to comply and conform to the respective regulation
as listed below. This product falls under the E-WASTE
(MANAGEMENT) RULES, 2022 with all amendments of
MinistryofEnvironment,Forest&ClimateChange.
RoHS Declaration:
ThisProductisinconformitywithrequirementsofRule16
oftheE-WASTE(MANAGEMENT)RULES,2022withall
amendments. The content of hazardous substances with
the exemption of the applications listed in SCHEDULE
II of the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 with all
amendments is as follows:
•Lead(Pb):notover0.1%byweight;
•Mercury(Hg):notover0.1%byweight;
•Cadmium(Cd):notover0.01%byweight;
•HexavalentChromium(Cr6+):notover0.1%byweight;
• Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBBs): not over 0.1% by
weight;
• Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs): not over
0.1%byweight.
Do’s and Don’ts for disposal of product:
1. Dos:
•Always drop your used electrical/electronic products,
defective spares or any accessories and packaging
materials after the end of their life at the nearest
authorised collection point/center.
•Make sure that your electronic products are recycled
only by authorised recyclers/dismantlers.
•Segregate the packaging materials according to their
respective waste disposal options and sorting for
recycling.
•Protectthe glass surface of any electronic productto
avoid breakage.
2. Donts:
•Neverdismantleyourelectronicproductyourself.
•NeversellorgiveE-Wastetoinformalandunorganised
sectors like local scrap dealer/rag pickers.
•NeverdumpE-Wasteingarbagebinsormunicipalsolid
waste stream.
•Do not dispose your product as unsorted municipal
waste.
