Viktiga säkerhetsföreskrifter
Följ alltid grundläggande säkerhetsföreskrifter för att minska risken för brand,
elektriska stötar eller personskada:
– Läs alla anvisningar
– Vidrör inte några varma ytor. Använd handtag eller knappar.
– Sänk inte ner apparaten i vatten eller annan vätska.
– Se särskilda anvisningar för rengöring.
– Låt inte barn använda apparaten på egen hand.
– Var alltid i närheten av apparaten när den används.
– Dra ur sladden när apparaten inte används och när du gör rent den.
– Låt den svalna innan du gör rent den.
– Använd inte apparaten om sladden eller kontakten är skadad eller om
apparaten slutat fungera eller har skadats på något vis. Lämna i stället in
apparaten till närmaste auktoriserade verkstad så att den kan
undersökas och eventuella fel åtgärdas.
– Använd endast tillbehör som rekommenderas av tillverkaren.
– Använd inte apparaten utomhus eller i fuktiga utrymmen.
– Dra inte sladden över vassa kanter eller varma ytor.
– Placera inte apparaten nära gaslåga, spisplatta eller varm ugn.
– Var extra försiktig om du flyttar äggkokaren när den innehåller varmt
vatten.
– Apparaten får bara användas för det den är avsedd.
– Nålen är mycket vass – använd med försiktighet.
– Apparaten får inte användas av personer (gäller också barn) med
nedsatt fysisk eller psykisk förmåga eller som saknar de erfarenhet och
kunskap som krävs, om de inte övervakas eller instrueras av en person
som ansvarar för deras säkerhet.
Säkerhetsåtgärder
Kokaren får inte användas:
– Om sladden är skadad
– Om du ser att kokaren är skadad
– Om kokaren har tappats i golvet, även om inga skador syns.
Kokaren får bara användas i enlighet med instruktionerna.

– Hur mycket vatten som behövs beror på hur många ägg som ska kokas
och hur du vill ha dem. På mätkoppen finns tre markeringar för löskokt,
medium och hårdkokt. För varje markering anges antalet ägg.
Fyll på med vatten upp till markeringen. Se till att kokaren står på ett jämt
underlag. Dra ut sladden från bottenplattan. Häll i vattnet.
– Använd nålen under mätkoppen för att göra ett hål i äggets trubbiga
ände. På så vis minskar du risken för att ägget ska spricka under
kokningen. Placera äggen i kokaren och stäng locket.
– Sätt in sladden i ett uttag. Kokaren sätter nu igång. När allt vatten har
förångats stängs kokaren av och en ljudsignal avges. Äggen är nu klara.
Var försiktig när du avlägsnar locket, som är mycket varmt.
Ta genast ut äggen och låt dem svalna.
Rengöring
Dra alltid ur kontakten och låt kokaren svalna innan du rengör den.
Äggställningen och locket kan diskas på vanligt sätt. Kokplattan får dock
bara rengöras med en fuktig duk.
Sänk inte ned kokaren i vatten!
Kalkavlagringar kan avlägsnas med vanlig vinäger. Blanda 1 del vinäger
med 10 delar vatten och häll i kokaren. Låt stå i 30 minuter och häll sedan
ut vätskan. Torka kokaren med en fuktig duk.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric hazard and injury to persons,
including the following.
– Read all instructions.
– Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
– To protect against electrical shock, do not place this unit in water or
other liquid. See instructions for cleaning.
– Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children.
– Do not use appliance unattended.
– Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
– Allow cooling before cleaning the appliance.
– Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair
or adjustment.
– To reduce the risk of injury, use accessory attachments only if
recommended by the appliance manufacturer.
– Do not use outdoors or while standing in a damp area.
– Do not let cord hand over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.

Safety Measures
The appliance should not be used when:
- Cable is damaged
- The appliance can be visually seen damaged
- The appliance has been dropped onto the floor,
even if visible damage is not seen

– The amount of water required depends on the number of eggs and the
degree of hardness/softness desired. The measuring cup marked
3 scales : Soft, Medium and Hard-boiled. Each scale has the number
of eggs marked on it. Fill the measuring cup with water up to the
appropriate mark. Make sure that the egg boiler is placed in horizontal
position. Unwind the cable from the base. Pour measured amount of
water into the boiling plate.
– Use the pin underside the measuring cup to prick a small aperture into
the blunt end of the egg. This prevents the eggshells bursting during
boiling.Put eggs into tray and put the boiling plate. Close the lid.
– Put the plug into socket. Machine is now in operation. When all water
has evaporated. Built-in thermostat switches off the boiler and the
buzzer sounds. Eggs are now cooked. Pull out the plug from socket.
Remove the lid carefully. As it is very hot, immediately take out the egg
tray and cool the eggs.
Cleaning instructions
Always unplug the appliance and allow cooling before cleaning. The egg
tray and the cover can be washed normally. However, the cooking plate
which is fixed to the bottom of the appliance can only be cleaned with a
moistened towel.
Do not immerse the appliance in water!
When excessive scales are deposited on the cooking plate, normal
household vinegar can be used to remove the scales. Dilute the vinegar
with water (add 1 part vinegar to 10 parts of water). Pour the solution onto
the cooking plate. Allow
soaking for about 30 minutes. Then pour way the liquid. Wipe the cooking
plate clean with a moistened towel.
