Läs noggrant igenom bruksanvisningen innan du använder
produkten och spara den för framtida bruk. Om du följer dessa
instruktioner kommer du ha glädje av produkten länge.
– Innan du ansluter enheten: Säkerställ att ditt vägguttags
spänning motsvarar den spänning som anges på produktens
typskylt (typskylten är placerad på undersidan av enheten).
– För att förhindra risk för elchock: Öppna aldrig höljet. Det finns
inga delar som du som användare själv kan laga. Överlåt all
service till kvalificerad servicepersonal.
– Reparationer av elektriska enheter får endast utföras av behörig
servicepersonal. Felaktig reparation kan utsätta användaren och
enheten för allvarlig fara.
– Använd inte produkten om den har en skadad kontakt eller
sladd, eller efter att den tappats och skadats på något sätt. Gör
du det kan det leda till elchock/personskador eller skador på
egendom.
– Om strömsladden är skadad måste den ersättas av tillverkaren,
dess serviceagent eller liknande kvalificerad servicepersonal för
att undvika fara.
– Koppla inte från enheten genom att dra i sladden, dra i
kontakten. Annars kan sladden eller enheten skadas.
– Låt inte strömkabeln hänga ner över bords- eller bänkkanter
eller komma i kontakt med heta ytor.
– Den här apparaten är försedd med en jordad stickpropp.
Kontrollera att eluttaget i ditt hem är ordentligt jordat.
– Tryck inte in föremål i några öppningar på enheten då skada på
enheten och/eller elchock kan uppstå.
– Använd inte enheten till annat än det den är avsedd för.
– Sänk inte ned enheten i vatten eller annan vätska.
– Koppla alltid från enheten innan du utför rengöring och
underhåll.
– Placera inte enheten nära värmeavgivande produkter, eller i

direkt solljus.
– Använd inte enheten utomhus.
– Denna utrustning får inte användas av personer (inklusive
barn) med nedsatt känsel, fysisk eller mental förmåga eller har
bristfällig erfarenhet eller kunskap. De ska ha lämplig tillsyn och
ges tillräckliga instruktioner från en person som ansvarar för
deras säkerhet, för att få använda utrustningen.
– Lämna aldrig enheten i närheten av barn. Produkten är ingen
leksak! Noggrann tillsyn krävs när produkten används i närheten
av barn.
– För att undvika skador på värmeelementen, kör inte
vattenkokaren tom.
– Undvik kontakt med ånga som pyser ut från pipen när vattnet
kokar eller direkt efter att vattnet kokats upp.
– Kokande vatten ska hällas ut långsamt och försiktigt och
vattenkokaren får inte tippas för snabbt.
– Vidrör inga heta ytor. Ta endast i handtaget och strömknappen.
– Strömplattan kan inte och får inte användas till något annat än
vattenkokaren.
– Var mycket försiktig när du flyttar vattenkokaren medan den
innehåller hett vatten.
– Om för mycket vatten har fyllts på kan vatten spruta ut.
– Se alltid till att locket är ordentligt stängt och inte öppnas
medan vattnet kokar. Brännskador kan uppstå om locket
öppnas under kokning.
– Apparaten är endast avsedd för användning i hemmet eller
liknande miljöer såsom:
- personalmatsalar
- lantgårdar
- hotellrum och liknande
- värdshus och liknande
– Se till att vattenkokaren är avstängd innan du lyfter av den från
strömplattan.

ANVÄNDNING
Innan du använder vattenkokaren
Innan du använder vattenkokaren för första gången rekommenderas att du rengör
den genom att fylla den med vatten, koka upp och hälla ut vattnet, två gånger i
följd. Torka av den utvändigt med en fuktig trasa.
Torrkokningsskydd
Om du skulle råka köra vattenkokaren tom kommer torrkokningsskyddet automatiskt
att stänga av apparaten. Om detta inträffar, låt vattenkokaren svalna innan du fyller
på med kallt vatten och startar kokningen.
Så använder du din vattenkokare
1. För att fylla på vatten i vattenkokaren, lyft av den från bottenplattan, öppna
locket och fyll på med önskad mängd vatten. Fyll alltid på minst 0,5 l och max.
1 l (se markeringar). Fyller du på för lite vatten kommer vattenkokaren att stänga
av utan att koka upp vattnet.
Obs! Fyll inte på vatten över max. nivån då det kan leda till att vatten sprutar ut
ur pipen vid kokning. Se till att locket sitter ordentligt på plats innan du sätter i
kontakten i eluttaget.
2. Stäng locket. Placera vattenkokaren på bottenplattan. Se till att hela
vattenkokarens undersida är i kontakt med bottenplattan.
3. Sätt i kontakten i ett eluttag. För strömknappen till “I”, lampan på knappen
tänds. Vattnet börjar värmas upp. Vattenkokaren stängs av automatiskt när
vattnet har kokats upp, varpå lampan slocknar. Du kan stänga av strömmen när
som helst under kokningen genom att trycka på knappen.
Obs! Se till att strömknappen inte är blockerad och att locket sitter fast
ordentligt. Vattenkokaren stängs inte av om strömknappen är blockerad eller
om locket är av.
4. Lyft av vattenkokaren från bottenplattan och häll ut vattnet.
Obs! Var försiktig när du häller ut vatten från vattenkokaren då kokande
vatten kan ge upphov till brännskador. Lyft inte av locket så länge vattnet i
vattenkokaren är hett.
5. Vattenkokaren kommer inte att starta igen förrän strömknappen slagits
på. Låt vattenkokaren svalna i 15-20 sekunder innan du kokar nytt vatten.
Vattenkokaren kan förvaras på bottenplattan när den inte används.
Obs! Se till att vattenkokaren är avstängd när den inte används.

UNDERHÅLL
Underhåll och rengöring
– Dra alltid ur kontakten ur eluttaget och låt vattenkokaren svalna helt innan
rengöring.
– Sänk aldrig ner bottenplattan eller sladden i vatten eller låt fukt sippra in i dessa
delar.
Avlägsna kalkavlagringar
Kalkavlagringar i kranvatten kan missfärga vattenkokaren invändigt. För att avlägsna
sådana avlagringar, använd ett giftfritt avkalkningsmedel.
Du kan även göra så här:
1. Häll i 3 dl vitvinsvinäger i vattenkokaren och fyll upp med vatten.
Låt stå över natten. Koka inte.
2. Häll ut blandningen ur vattenkokaren. Eventuella fläckar som finns kvar i pipen
kan avlägsnas genom att gnida med en fuktig trasa, fylla vattenkokaren med
rent vatten, koka upp och sedan hälla ut vattnet. Upprepa en gång till så är
vattenkokaren redo för användning.
Rengöring av höljet
– Torka av höljet med en fuktig trasa eller rengöringsduk.
Obs! Använd inga kemiska eller frätande rengöringsmedel för rengöring av
vattenkokarens utsida och inga redskap av metall eller trä.
Rengöring av filtret
– Kom ihåg att torka av filtret då och då med en fuktig trasa.
Förvaring
– När vattenkokaren inte används eller ska förvaras kan strömkabeln viras ihop
under bottenplattan.

Read this instruction manual carefully before use and save it for future
reference. If you follow these instructions, your appliance will provide
you with years of good service.
– Before you connect the appliance: Ensure that the voltage rating
on the type plate corresponds to your mains voltage (type plate is
located on the bottom of the product).
– To reduce the risk of electric shock: Do not remove the cover.
There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to
qualified service personnel.
– Repairs to electrical appliances shall always be performed by
qualified personnel. Improper repairs may place the user and the
equipment at serious risk.
– Do not operate the appliance with a damaged plug or cord, after
a malfunction or after being dropped or damaged in any way.
Doing so may cause electric shock/personal injuries and property
damage may occur.
– If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified people to avoid
a hazard.
– Do not remove the appliance from the mains power supply by
pulling the cord, pull the plug. Otherwise damage to the cord and
appliance may occur.

supervision and instructions to use the equipment by a person

– Never leave the appliance within reach of children. The product is
not a toy! Close supervision is required when using the appliance
near children.
– Do not operate the appliance without anything in it, to avoid
damaging the heat elements.
– While water is boiling, or just after the water has been boiled, avoid
contact with steam from the spout.
– Always be careful when pouring boiling water. Tip the kettle carefully
and slowly.
– Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the button.
– The power base cannot be used for other purposes or products
than this water kettle.
– Extreme caution must be taken when moving an appliance
containing hot water.
– If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.
– Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is
boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing
cycles.
– This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
– Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environments;
– Farm houses;
– By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
– Bed and breakfast type environments.
– Ensure that the kettle is switched off before removing it from its
stand.

OPERATION
Before using your kettle
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean
your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discard the
water. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
Note: The max capacity of the kettle is 1.5 liter.
Dry-boil protection
If you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the dry-boil protection will
automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling
with cold water and re-boil.
Use your kettle
1. To fill water into the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid. Fill
with the desired amount of water. Always fill the kettle between the minimum
(0.5 L) and maximum (1.0 L) marks. Too little water will result in the kettle
switching off before the water has boiled.
Note: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the
spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before connecting the
power cord to the outlet.
2. Close the lid. Position the kettle on the power base in place. Make sure the
kettle contact with the power base completely.
3. Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press down the switch to “I” position and
the switch light illuminates. Then start to boil the water.
4. The kettle will switch off automatically once the water has boiled and the switch
light extinguishes. You can shut off the power by pressing the switch at any
moment during boiling water.
Note: Ensure that switch is clear of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed.
The kettle will not turn off if the switch is constrained or if the lid is left open.
5. Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.
Note: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling
water may result in scalding, besides, don’t open the lid while the water in the
kettle is hot.
6. The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is uplifted. Allow to cool for 15~20
seconds before reopening to boil water. The kettle may be stored on the power
base when not in use.
Note: Ensure power supply is turned off when the kettle is not in use.

MAINTENANCE
Care and cleaning
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and leave it to cool down
completely before cleaning. Never immerse the kettle or cord in water, or allow
moisture to contact with these parts.
Removal of mineral deposits
Mineral deposits in tap water may cause the kettle interior to discolor. To remove
this build-up, use non-toxic liquid descaler.
Alternatively:
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the rest with water. Do not boil.
Allow to stand overnight.
2. Empty the solution from the kettle. Any stains remaining inside the spout can
be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth. Fill the kettle with clean water, bring
to boil and then discard the water.
3. Repeat and the kettle will then be ready to use.
Cleaning external housing
– Wipe the external housing with a wild and damp cloth or cleaner.
Caution: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the
outside of the kettle.
Cleaning the filter
– Remember to clean the filter with a damp cloth.
Storage
– When not in use or storage, the power cord may be wound around the cord
storage under the base of kettle.
