Assembly Instructions
Ensure that the base being used to mount the speaker assembly is flat and free from debris & dirt.
Using the cowl base plate as a template, drill out the holes as shown below in the extrusion/lightbar base (see fig 1)
a 1x21mm for main speaker driver output
b 2x6.5mm for cowl/driver plate mounting bolts
c 2x6.5mm for cowl fixing to base/extrusion

Ensure the 2 inserts are in place(see fig 2) The raised edge of the insert should face up as the lip on hole (a)
Place the cowl base plate under the base/extrusion and line up the holes previously drilled ensuring the fully flat side of
the base plate fits against the underside of the extrusion/lightbar base (see fig 3)
Place the rubber gasket on the upper side of the extrusion and then the metal driver mounting collar on top making
sure the countersunk screw holes are facing UP to the inside of the lightbar (see fig 4)

Now fit the 2x Allen head retaining bolts passing them down through the metal driver mounting collar, through the
rubber gasket and then the extrusion/lightbar base and engage into the inserts in the cowl base plate.
Tighten the bolts using a 4mm allen key.
DO NOT over tighten bolts as damage to the plastic cowl base plate may occur.
Ensuring that the circular driver gasket is in place (see fig 5), take the driver unit and screw into the driver mounting
plate which has been previously secured to the lightbar/extrusion base (see fig 6)
NOTE!! - Grease the driver thread before screwing into the mounting plate to facilitate easy removal and
to help prevent cross-threading. A ‘copper-slip’ type grease is recommended.




Offer up the cowl housing to the cowl base aligning all the locating holes/pins. The cowl should ‘click’ into place.
Secure the cowl housing to the assembly by using the 2x self tapping screws (provided) inserted from the internal side
of the extrusion/lightbar base (see fig 7)
Cowl assembly is now complete.
Check all fittings before use

DO NOT use abrasive or solvent based cleaners to clean the speaker cowl as these will likely cause
material damage. Always use a soap & water mixture for cleaning.
