1. Intended use of the product
This product serves exclusively to accelerate the curing
of putty, filler, base and clear coats. The product must not
be used for other purposes than the described curing
processes.
This product should only be used with the filter glass
intact. A missing or broken filter glass will result in
hazardous UVC and UVB radiation. For a worker working
close to the operating lamp (1,5m) the daily limitation
should be set to 1h/working day.
Only original spare parts shall be used to maintain this
products high safety.
The maximum ambient temperature during operation
should not exceed 40°C.
Do not use the product in spray booths or within a
distance of 5 m from other solvent based spraying
activities in order to avoid explosion risks.
2. Product description
The easily manoeuvrable IRT-UVA Prepcure is equipped
with one or two compact cassette. Each cassette is
equipped with one high efficiency 1000 W UVA-lamp
which make the curing extremely fast.
The design, combined with a gas spring, makes cassette
adjustment simpler. The control unit enables individual
control of each cassette. The time can be set to 0- 15 min.
UV curing
The ultraviolet light spectrum generated by a UV lamp
interacts with special coating chemistries to produce a high-
quality, durable curing. In many applications, UV curing can
achieve the curing faster, and therefore at a lower total cost
than many other coating processes.
UV-coat contains less solvent than conventional paint and
from that perspective has less negative environ-mental impact.
Most importantly to achieve a good and fast curing result
there must be enough UV-A inensity. IRT UVA PrepCure has
an outstanding intensity to achieve the best curing result.

4. Instruction to the owner
The owner of the mobile dryer must produce clear
operating instructions, adapted to local site conditions,
and make these available to all users. Mobile dryer users
must adhere to these operating instructions.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
This product should only be used with the filter glass intact.
A missing or broken filter glass will result in hazardous
UVC and UVB radiation. For a worker working close to
the operating lamp (1,5m) the daily limitation should be
set to 1h/working day.
Only original spare parts shall be used to maintain this
products high safety.
Dispose of spent items at the nearest environmental
protection facility for recycling.
The UV- radiation emission is:

during work in areas exposed to UV-radiation.
5. Safety instructions
Fire and explosion
Do not store, prepare or use solvent-containing
materials within a 5 m/16 feet radius of the mobile dryer.
Flammable materials should not be placed close to a
drying device in use. Never direct the cassette towards
highly combustible materials.
The dryer must not be exposed to paint fog, sanding
dust or solvents, due to fire and explosion risk.
Furthermore, the lifetime of the dryer will otherwise be
reduced. Allow for sufficient cooling time of the dryer.
Electrical equipment
The mobile dryer is operated by highly dangerous
electrical voltage.
Accessing electrical equipment
Before accessing live parts, remove the main connector
from the wall socket. Only professional electricians may
have direct access into the electrical equipment.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Hot surface
The filter glass in front of the UV-lamp can be very hot
and have a long cooling down time after the equipment
have been in use.
Warning!
UV RADIATION CAN CAUSE INJURY AND PROPERTY
DAMAGE!
• To reduce risk of injury or property damage from UV
radiation, read, understand, and follow the following
safety instructions. In addition, make certain that
anyone else that uses this heating equipment follows
these safety instructions as well.
• Hands, face and other parts of the body shall not be
exposed to heat and radiation. Do not stay in front
of the lamp cassettes during curing without safety
equipment.
• Always wear eye protection. Failure to this may result
in longterm injury to the eyes.
• If a person works around UV radiation while on
medications, the medication should be checked to
see if it would make the person more photosensitive.
• Do not look directly at the light source.
• Do not use if protective glass is broken or missing.
This glass filters the light from unwanted radiation.
6. Operation
Turn the main switch on.
Select the desired cassette/cassettes by pressing the
upper right button with the two lamp symbols. The
selection is illustrated on the display. Set the timer to the
recommended time by pressing (+) or (-) buttons. To start
the unit, press the Start/stop button. Also press Start/stop
button for an earlier termination of the curing.
For IRT UVA-2 with two cassettes, the timer controls one or
both cassettes.
To see the remaining life time of the UV-lamps select
one of the lamps according to above and then press the
button with the percent sign (%).
NOTE: The restart of a hot lamp takes normally 4-6
minutes depending on the duration time in the recent
performed curing.
NOTE: When the curing process is terminated, do not turn
off the main switch before the cassette has, by the fan,
cooled down for about 5 minutes. Switching off the dryer
too early will shorten the life-time of the UVA-lamps. Using
the UVA-lamps vertically will also shorten their life.

7. Maintenance
Before every usage,
check that:
— external cabling is not damaged
— protection glass in front of lamp is not cracked or
removed
— protection glass is clean and free from spray fog
that decreases the intensity
Weekly
Check that UV lamps light up during mobile dryer
operation.
Also, check that all cables are undamaged. A damaged
cable can be a danger to life!
Quarterly
Change the air filter at least once per quarter. If the
outer surface of the filter becomes very dirty, it must be
changed earlier.
8. Filter replacement
1. Loosen the metal clips on the side plates of the
cassette.
2. Remove the used filter.
3. Insert the new filter in such a way that the IRT logo is
visible from the outside.
4. Push the long edges of the filter into the cassette
grooves.
5. Replace the metal clips.
Attention: The filters are disposable and so should not
be cleaned as this will result in the loss of their filtering
capacity.
9. UV-lamp replacement
Please contact your distributor and order a UV-lamp
replacementkit including instructions.
Reset Lamp timer: After replacing the
lamp a reset of the timer needs to be
done .
Reset Lamp timer UVA1: Make sure
that the main switch [5] is turned
off. Hold the start/stop button [1]
and top right button [2] pressed in
simultaneously while the main switch
[5] is turned on. Keep the buttons
pressed in until a confirmation
message (L1--rESEt.) appears in the
top display [4].
Reset Lamp timer UVA2:
Right lamp: Make sure that the main
switch [5] is turned off. Hold the
start/stop button [1] and top right button [2] pressed in
simultaneously while the main switch [5] is turned on. Keep
the buttons pressed in until a confirmation message (L1--
rESEt.) appears in the top display [4].
Left lamp : Make sure that the main switch [5] is turned
off. Hold the start/stop button [1] and top left button [3]
pressed in simultaneously while the main switch [5] is
turned on. Keep the buttons pressed in until a confirmation
message (L1--rESEt.) appears in the top display [4].
10. Trouble shooting
Problem
The UVA lamps starts up but shuts down automatically
after a while.
Possible solution
The lamp is worn out. Please contact your distributor and
order a new one.
Problem
The lamp doesn´t start.
Possible solution
Ensure that required cooling time for lamps is fulfilled.
Cooling time increases with dirty air filter.
The lamp is worn out. Please contact your distributor and

Filter glass is broken.
No power in wall socket, check fuse.

1. Verwendungszweck des Geräts
Dieses Gerät dient ausschließlich dem Beschleunigen
der Trocknung von Kitt, Füller, Grund- und Klarlack. Das
Produkt darf nicht für andere Zwecke verwendet werden
als das beschriebene Trocknungsverfahren. Diese Produkt
ist nur mit unbeschädigtem Filterglas zu verwenden. Ein
fehlendes oder gebrochenes Filterglas kann zu gefährli-
cher UVC- und UVB-Strahlung führen. Für einen Arbeiter,
der nahe an der Betriebslampe (1,5 m) arbeitet, gilt eine
tägliche Begrenzung von 1h/Arbeitstag. Es sind nur Ori-
ginalersatzteile zu verwenden, um den hohen Sicherheits-
standard des Produkts beizubehalten.
Die maximale Umgebungstemperatur während des Be-
triebs darf 40°C nicht überschreiten.
Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht in Spritzkabinen oder in
einem Abstand von weniger als 5 m zu anderen auf einem
Lösungsmittel basierenden Lackiervorgängen, um eine
Explosion zu vermeiden.
2. Produktbeschreibung
Die handlichen IRT-UVA Prepcure sind mit einer oder zwei
Kompaktkassetten ausgestattet. Jede Kassette ist mit einer
1000 W UVA-Lampe ausgestattet, die eine sehr schnelle
Trocknung ermöglichen.
Das Design in Verbindung mit einer Gasfeder, erleichtert
die Kassetten Anpassung. Das Steuergerät ermöglicht die
individuelle Steuerung der einzelnen Kassette. Die Zeit ist
auf 0-15 min einstellbar.
UV-Trocknung
Das ultraviolette Lichtspektrum, das durch die UV-Lampe
generiert wird, interagiert mit speziellen chemischen Be-
schichtungen und produziert eine qualitativ hochwertige
und dauerhafte Trocknung. In vielen Anwendungsfällen
kann die UV-Trocknung ein schnelleres Trocknungsergebnis
erzielen und weist somit niedrigere Gesamtkosten als viele
andere Beschichtungsverfahren auf.
Die UV-Beschichtung enthält weniger Lösungsmittel als
eine herkömmliche Farbe und hat aus dieser Perspektive
einen geringeren negativen Einfluss auf die Umwelt.
Das Wichtigste, um eine gute und schnelle Trocknung zu
erzielen, ist die ausreichende UV-A Leistung. IRT UVA Prep-
Cure verfügt über eine hervorragende Leistung, um das
beste Trocknungsergebnis zu erzielen.

4. Anweisungen für den Eigentümer
Der Eigentümer des mobilen Trockners ist für die Erstellung
klarer Bedienungsanweisungen verantwortlich, die den Ge-
gebenheiten vor Ort Rechnung tragen und die allen Benut-
zern zugänglich gemacht werden müssen.
Die Benutzer des mobilen Trockners müssen diese Bedie-
nungsanweisungen befolgen.
Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den Gebrauch durch Personen
(einschließlich Kindern) mit verminderten körperlichen,
sensorischen oder geistigen Möglichkeiten bzw. Personen
mit einem Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen gedacht, es sei
denn, sie wurden beaufsichtigt oder in die Benutzung des
Geräts durch eine für deren Sicherheit verantwortliche Per-
son eingewiesen.
Diese Produkt ist nur mit unbeschädigtem Filterglas zu
verwenden. Ein fehlendes oder gebrochenes Filterglas
kann zu gefährlicher UVC- und UVB-Strahlung führen. Für
einen Arbeiter, der nahe an der Betriebslampe (1,5 m)
arbeitet, gilt eine tägliche Begrenzung von

5. Sicherheitshinweise
Feuer- und Explosionsgefahr
Vermeiden Sie die Lagerung, die Herstellung oder die
Verwendung von lösungsmittelhaltigen Materialien in-
nerhalb eines Radius von 5 m/16 Fuß vom mobilen Trock-
ner. Lagern Sie keine brennbaren Materialien in der Nähe
eines Trockners in Betrieb.
Richten Sie die Kassette niemals auf hochentzündliche
Materialien.
Aufgrund des Feuer- und Explosionsrisikos darf der
Trockner weder Farbsprühnebeln, Schleifstaub noch
Lösungsmitteln ausgesetzt werden. Außerdem kann da-
durch die Lebensdauer des Trockners reduziert werden.
Sorgen Sie für eine ausreichende Abkühlungszeit des
Trockners.
Elektrische Komponenten
Der mobile Trockner wird mit einer gefährlich hohen
elektrischen Spannung betrieben.
Zugang zu den elektrischen Komponenten
Bevor Sie stromführende Teile anfassen, ziehen Sie den
Hauptstecker aus der Wandsteckdose. Nur ausgebildete
Elektriker dürfen die elektrischen Komponenten direkt
berühren.
Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss es durch den
Hersteller, dessen Servicepartner oder ähnlich qualifizier-
te Personen ersetzt werden, um eine Gefahr zu vermei-
den.
Heiße Oberfläche
Das Filterglas vor der UV-Lampe kann sehr heiß sein und
eine lange Abkühlphase nach der Verwendung der Aus-
rüstung aufweisen.

ten während des Trocknens ohne Schutzausrüstung

• Tragen Sie stets Augenschutz. Andernfalls kann dies
zu bleibenden Augenschäden führen.
• Wenn eine Person Medikamente einnimmt und
beim Arbeiten einer UV-Strahlung ausgesetzt wird,
muss die Wirkung dieser Medikamente auf die Lich-
tempfindlichkeit der Haut überprüft werden.
• Sehen Sie nicht direkt in die Lichtquelle.
• Nicht verwenden, wenn die Schutzgläser beschädigt
sind oder fehlen. Dieses Glas filtert das Licht von
unerwünschter Strahlung.

6. Arbeitsgang
Hauptschalter einschalten.
Wählen Sie die gewünschte Kassette, indem die obere
rechte Taste mit den zwei Lampen Symbolen bedient wird.
Die Auswahl wird auf dem Display dargestellt. Einstellen
der Zeituhr auf die empfohlene Zeit durch „+“ oder - Drü-
cken. Um das Gerät zu starten, drücken Sie die Taste Start/
Stopp. Auch Start/Stopp Taste drücken wenn sie frühzeitig
abbrechen möchten.
Für den IRT UVA-2 mit zwei Kassetten, steuert die Zeituhr
einen oder beiden Kassetten.
Um die verbleibende Lebensdauer der UV-Lampen zu
sehen wählen Sie eine der Lampen laut oben und drücken
Sie dann die Taste mit dem Prozentzeichen (%).
NOTA: Es dauert normalerweise 4 bis 6 Minuten um eine
Lampe erneut zu starten, kommt auf die Dauer der vor-
herigen Härtung an.
NOTA: Wenn die Härtung beendet ist; nicht den Haupt-
schalter ausschalten bevor die Kassette, durch ca. 5 Mi-
nutiges abblasen, abgekühlt worden ist. Den Trockner zu
früh abzustellen, verkürzt die Lebensdauer der UVA-Lam-
pen. Auch die Vertikale Verwendung der UVA-Lampen
verkürzt die Lebensdauer.
Stellen Sie außerdem sicher, dass alle Kabel nicht be-
schädigt sind. Ein beschädigtes Kabel kann eine Lebens-
gefahr darstellen!
Vierteljährlich
Wechseln Sie den Luftfilter mindestens einmal pro Quar-
tal. Wenn die Außenfläche des Filters stark verschmutzt
ist, muss dieser früher gewechselt zeitiger.
8. Filteraustausch
1. Lösen Sie die Metallklammern an den Seitenblechen
der Kassette.
2. Entfernen Sie den gebrauchten Filter.
3. Setzen Sie den neuen Filter so ein, dass das IRT-Logo
von außen sichtbar ist.
4. Drücken Sie die Längsränder des Filters in die Rillen
der Kassette.
5. Setzen Sie die Metallklammern wieder an.
Achtung: Die Filter sind Einwegfilter und sollten nicht
gereinigt werden, da dies zu einem Verlust der Filterka-
pazität führt.
9. UV-Lampen-Austausch
Bitte kontaktieren Sie Ihren Händler und um einen UV-
Lampenersatzkit, einschließlich Anweisungen, zu erhalten.
Lampentimer zurückstellen: Nachdem die Lampe ersetzt
worden ist, muss die Zeituhr zurückgestellt werden.
Lampe Zeitgeber UVA1 zurückstellen:
Sicherstellen, dass der Hauptschalter [5] ausgeschaltet ist.

1. Utilisation prévue du produit
Ce produit sert exclusivement à accélérer le séchage de
mastic, de pâte de remplissage, de couches de base et
de vernis. Le produit ne doit pas être utilisé à d’autres
fins que le processus de séchage décrit.
Ce produit ne doit être utilisé qu’avec un verre filtrant
intact. Un verre filtrant manquant ou cassé exposera
l’opérateur aux radiations d’UVC et UVB dangereuses.
Pour un opérateur travaillant à proximité de la lampe en
fonctionnement (1,5 m), l’exposition quotidienne doit
être limitée à 1h/jour de travail. Seules des pièces dé-
tachées d’origine doivent être utilisées pour maintenir
le niveau de sécurité élevé du produit. La température
ambiante maximale pendant le fonctionnement ne doit
pas dépasser 40 °C.
N’utilisez pas le produit dans une cabine de pulvérisation
ou à moins de 5 m de distance des autres activités de
pulvérisation à base de solvants afin d’éviter les risques
d’explosion.
2. Description du produit
Le Sécheur IRT-UVA aisément maniable est équipé d’une
ou deux cassettes compactes. Chacune de ces cassettes est
équipée d’une lampe UVA de 1000 W de haute efficacité
qui rendent le séchage extrêmement rapide.
La conception, associée à un ressort à gaz, permet l’ajus-
tement facile de la cassette. L’unité de commande permet
un contrôle individuelle de chaque cassette. Le temps peut
être réglé à 0-15 min.
Le séchage UV
Le spectre de rayonnement ultraviolet généré par une
lampe UV interagit avec des compositions chimiques de
revêtements spéciaux afin d’obtenir un séchage durable
de haute qualité. Dans de nombreuses applications, le
séchage UV peut atteindre un séchage plus rapide, et par
conséquent pour un coût total inférieur à de nombreux
autres procédés de revêtement.
Une couche UV contient moins de solvant que la peinture
classique et de cette perspective, elle a moins d’impact
négatif sur l’environnement.
Le plus important pour obtenir le bon résultat d’un séchage
rapide, est qu’il doit y avoir suffisamment d’intensité UV-

4. Instructions pour le propriétaire
Le propriétaire du sécheur mobile doit fournir des
consignes d’utilisation claires, adaptées aux conditions
locales du site, et les mettre à la disposition de tous les
utilisateurs.
Les utilisateurs du sécheur mobile doivent se conformer à
ces instructions de fonctionnement.
Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à être utilisé par des per-
sonnes (y compris des enfants) dont les capacités phy-
siques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites, ou man-
quant d’expérience et de connaissances, à moins qu’elles
n’aient été encadrées ou formées pour l’utilisation de
l’appareil par une personne responsable de leur sécurité.
Ce produit ne doit être utilisé qu’avec un verre filtrant intact.

tection lorsque vous travaillez dans un environnement

5. Consignes de sécurité
Incendie et explosion
Ne pas ranger, préparer ou utiliser des matériaux à base de
solvants dans un rayon de 5 m/16 pieds autour du sécheur
mobile. Aucune matière inflammable ne doit être placée à
proximité d’un sécheur en cours de fonctionnement.
Ne jamais diriger la cassette vers des matières hautement
inflammables.
Le sécheur ne doit pas être exposé aux vapeurs de pein-
ture, à la poussière de sablage, ou à des solvants, en raison
des risques d’incendie et d’explosion. En outre, la durée de
vie du sécheur risquerait par ailleurs d’être réduite. Accor-
dez une période suffisante pour refroidir le sécheur.
Équipement électrique
Le sécheur mobile est actionné par une tension électrique
très dangereuse.
Accès à l’équipement électrique
Avant d’accéder à des parties sous tension, retirez le
connecteur principal de la prise murale. Seuls des électri-
ciens professionnels peuvent avoir accès direct dans l’équi-
pement électrique.
Si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être
remplacé par le fabricant, son agent de service ou d’autres
personnes similaires qualifiées afin d’éviter tout danger.
Surface chaude
Le verre filtrant devant la lampe UV peut devenir
très chaud et refroidit lentement après utilisation de
l’équipement.

DES RAYONNEMENTS UV PEUVENT PROVOQUER DES
BLESSURES ET DES DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS!
• Afin de réduire le risque de blessures ou de dégâts
matériels à cause des rayonnements UV, veuillez lire,
comprendre, et suivre les consignes de sécurité sui-
vantes. En outre, assurez-vous que toute personne
qui utilise cet équipement de chauffage suive égale-
ment ces consignes de sécurité.
• Les mains, le visage et les autres parties du corps
nedoivent pas être exposés à la chaleur et aux radia-
tions. Ne restez pas devant les cassettes de la lampe
sans équipement de sécurité pendant le séchage.
• Portez toujours des lunettes de protection. Le man-
quement à ce point peut provoquer des blessures à
long terme aux yeux.
• Si une personne travaille autour des rayonnements
UV alors qu’elle suit un traitement médical, le médi-
cament pris devrait être vérifié pour savoir s’il rend
la personne plus photosensible.
• Ne regardez pas la source de lumière directement.
• Ne pas utiliser si le verre protecteur est cassé ou
manquant. Ce verre filtrent la lumière des rayonne-
ments indésirables.

6. Opération
Allumez l’interrupteur principal.
Sélectionnez la/les cassettes souhaitées en appuyant
sur le bouton supérieure droit avec les deux symboles
de la lampe. La sélection est illustré sur l’écran. Régler
la minuterie pour le temps recommandé en appuyant
sur les boutons (+) ou (-) . Pour démarrer l’unité appuyer
sur le bouton démarrage/arrêt. Pour un arrêt manuel du
séchage, appuyez sur le bouton de démarrage/arrêt.
Pour IRT UVA-2 avec deux cassettes, la minuterie contrôle
les deux cassettes.
Pour voir la durée de vie restante de les lampes UV sélec-
tionner l’une des lampes selon ci-dessus et appuyez sur
le bouton avec le signe pour cent (%).
REMARQUE : Le redémarrage d’une lampe chaude
prend normalement 4-6 minutes en fonction du temps
de séchage précédent.
REMARQUE : Lorsque le processus de durcissement est
terminé, ne éteignez pas la interrupteur principal, avant
de la cassette a refroidi pendant environ 5 minutes avec
l’aide du ventilateur. Arrêt trop tôt raccourcira la durée de
vie des la lampes UVA. En utilisant les lampes en position
verticale le temps de vie de la lampe sera raccourcie.
Tous les trois mois
Changez le filtre à air au moins une fois chaque trimestre.
Si la surface externe du filtre devient très sale, il doit être
changé plus tôt.
8. Remplacement du filtre
1. Desserrez les clips métalliques sur les plaques latéra-
les de la cassette.
2. Retirez le filtre usagé.
3. Insérez le nouveau filtre de manière à ce que le logo
IRT soit visible de l’extérieur.
4. Enfoncez les bords longs du filtre dans les rainures de
la cassette.
5. Replacez les clips métalliques.
Attention: Les filtres sont jetables et ne doivent donc
pas être nettoyés puisqu’ils perdraient ainsi leur capacité
de filtration.
9. Remplacement de la lampe UV
Contactez votre distributeur et commander un kit de
remplacement lampe UV y compris une instruction.
Réinitialiser la minuterie: Après le remplacement de la
lampe, une réinitialisation de la minuterie doit être fait.
Réinitialiser la minuterie UVA1: Assurez-vous que l’inter-
rupteur principal [5] est éteint. Tenez le bouton démar-
rage / arrêt [1] et le bouton en haut à droite [2] enfoncé
simultanément tandis que le interrupteur principal [5] est
activée. Gardez les touches enfoncées jusqu’à ce qu’un
message de confirmation (L1--rESEt.) apparaissent à
l’écran en haut [4].
Réinitialiser la minuterie UVA2:
Lampe droit: Assurez-vous que l’interrupteur principal
[5] est éteint. Tenez le bouton démarrage / arrêt [1] et
le bouton en haut à droite [2] enfoncé simultanément
tandis que le interrupteur prin-
cipal [5] est activée. Gardez les
touches enfoncées jusqu’à ce
qu’un message de confirma-
tion (L1--rESEt.) apparaissent à
l’écran en haut [4].
Lampe gauche: Assurez-vous
que l’interrupteur principal [5]
est éteint. Tenez le bouton dé-
marrage / arrêt [1] et le bouton
en haut à gauche [3] enfoncé
simultanément tandis que le
interrupteur principal [5] est acti-
vée. Gardez les touches enfon-
cées jusqu’à ce qu’un message
de confirmation (L1--rESEt.) appa-
raissent à l’écran en haut [4].
7. Entretien
Avant chaque utilisation:
Vérifiez que
— le câblage externe n’est pas endommagé
— le verre de protection devant la lampe n’est pas
fissuré ou retiré
— le verre de protection est propre et sans
vaporisations réduisant l’intensité
Chaque semaine
Vérifiez que les lampes UV s’allument pendant le fon-
ctionnement du sécheur mobile.
Vérifiez également qu’aucun câble ne soit endommagé. Un
câble endommagé peut présenter un danger pour la vie !

10. Dépannage
Problème

2. Produktbeskrivning
Den lättmanövrerade IRT-UVA Prepcure är utrustad med
en eller två kompakta kassetter. Varje kassett är försedd

UV härdning
Det ultravioletta ljuset som genereras av en UV-lampa
interagerar med speciella lacker och åstadkommer en
högkvalitativ, tålig härdning. I många tillämpningar, kan
UV-härdning uppnå härdning snabbare, och därmed
till en lägre totalkostnad än många andra lackerings-
processer. UV lack innehåller mindre lösningsmedel än
konventionellt lack och har ur det perspektivet mindre
negativ inverkan på miljön.
Viktigast för att uppnå en bra och snabb härdning är att
det är tillräcklig intensitet UV-A. IRT UVA PrepCure har en
enastående intensitet för att uppnå bästa torkresultat.

4. Instruktioner för ägaren
Torkens ägare måste tillhandahålla tydliga driftsinstruk-
tioner anpassade till lokala förhållanden på platsen och
göra dem tillgängliga för alla användare som måste följa
dessa instruktioner.
Produkten är inte avsedd att användas av personer (in-
klusive barn) med nedsatt fysisk, sensorisk eller mental
förmåga, eller med brist på erfarenhet eller kunskap,
såvida de inte övervakas eller har fått instruktioner angå-
ende användning av produkten av en person som ansva-
rar för deras säkerhet.
Denna produkt får endast användas med oskadat
skyddsglas. Saknat eller skadat skyddsglas resulterar i
skadlig UVC och UVB strålning. En operatör som arbetar
nära produkten i drift (1,5 m) bör begränsa den dagliga
tiden i närheten av produkten till 1 h/arbetsdag.
Använd endast original reservdelar för att upprätthålla
produktens höga säkerhet.
Uttjänta produkter lämnas till närmaste miljövårdsan-
läggning för återvinning.

5. Säkerhetsinstruktioner
Brand och explosion
Material som innehåller lösningsmedel får inte förvaras,
förberedas eller användas inom 5 m från mobiltorken.
Lättantändliga ämnen bör inte placeras i närheten av en
tork som används.
Rikta aldrig kassetten mot brandfarliga ämnen.
På grund av explosionsrisken får torken aldrig utsättas
för lackdimma, slipdamm eller lösningsmedel. Dessutom
skulle torkens livscykel bli reducerad. Se till att torken får
kallna ordentligt efter användning.
Elektrisk utrustning
Mobiltorken drivs med hög elektrisk spänning, som kan
vara mycket farlig.
Åtkomst av elektrisk utrustning
Innan åtkomst av strömförande delar, ta ur kontakten ur
vägguttaget. Endast professionella elektriker får ha åt-
komst till den elektriska utrustningen.
Om sladden är skadad måste den bytas ut av tillverkaren,
dess serviceagent eller motsvande kvalificerad person
för att undvika fara.
Het yta
Skyddsglaset framför UV-lampan kan bli mycket hett och
har en lång nedkylningstid efter drift.

• För att reducera risken för kroppsskada eller skada
på egendom på grund av UV-strålning läs, förstå och
följ följande säkerhetsinstruktioner. Se dessutom till
att även alla övriga som använder denna värmeutrust-
ning följer säkerhetsistruktionerna.
• Händer, ansikte och andra kroppsdelar får inte expo-
neras för värme eller strålning. Stå inte framför lamp-
kassetterna under torkprocessen utan att använda
säkerhetsutrustning.
• Använd alltid skyddsglasögon. Underlåtenhet kan
leda till långsiktiga ögonskador.
• Om en person som medicinerar arbetar nära UV strål-
ning, kontrollera om medicinen kan göra personen
mer
ljuskänslig.
• Titta inte direkt mot ljuskällan.
• Använd inte om skyddsglaset är trasigt eller saknas.
Detta glas filtrerar ljuset från icke önskvärd strålning.
6. Användning
Slå på huvudströmbrytaren.
Ange kassett/kassetter som ska användas genom att trycka
på knappen med två lampor i översta högra hörnet. På
displayen visas den valda inställningen. Ställ in tiduret på re-
kommenderad tid genom att trycka på (+) eller (-) knappen.
För att påbörja valt program, tryck på Star/Stop-knappen.
För IRT UVA-2 med två kassetter kontrolleras varje
kassetts tidur separat eller tillsammans.
Kontrollera livslängden på en UV-lampa genom att först
identifiera en av lamporna enligt ovan och tryck sedan på
knappen med procenttecket (%).
OBS: Omstart av en varm lampa tar normalt 4-6 minuter be-
roende på tidsinställningen i den senaste utförda härdningen.
OBS: När härdningsprocessen är klar, slå inte av huvuds-
tömbrytaren förrän kassetterna har har kylts ner med hjälp
av fläkten - detta tar ca 5 minuter. Att stänga av en tork för
tidigt förkortar UVA-lampans livlängd. Att bruka UVA-lam-
porna i vertikal position förkortar också livslängden.

7. Underhåll
Före varje användning:
Kontrollera att
— externa kablar inte är skadade
— skyddsglaset framför lampan inte är skadat eller
borttaget
— skyddsglaset är rent och fritt från färgdimma som
försämrar intensitieten
Varje vecka
Kontrollera att UV lamporna lyser under drift av mobil-
torken. Kontrollera även att alla kablar är oskadade. En
sakadad kabel kan innbära livsfara!
Varje kvartal
Byt luftfiltret minst en gång i kvartalet. Om utsidan av
filtret blir mycket smutsigt måste det bytas tidigare.
8. Filterbyte
1. Lossa metallklämmorna på kassettens sidoplåtar.
2. Ta bort det använda filtret.
3. Sätt in ett nytt filter så att IRT logon syns från utsidan.
4. Tryck in långsidorna i kassettens skåror.
5. Sätt tillbaka metallklämmorna.
OBS: Filtrena är avsedda för engångsanvändning och
skall alltså inte rengöras, eftersom detta försämrar deras
filtreringsförmåga.
9. Byte av UV-lampa
Vänligen kontakta er distributör för beställning av ersätt-
ningskit av UV-lampa (inklusive instruktion).
Återställa lamp timern: Efter byte av lampan behöver
timern återställas.
Återställa lamp timern på UVA1:
Se till att huvudströmbrytaren [5] är i avstängt läge. Tryck
samtidigt på Start/Stop-knappen [1] och översta högra
knappen [2] och slå sedan på huvudströmmen [5]. Håll
inne knapparna tills bekräftelsemeddelandet (L1--rESEt.)
visas på den översta skärmen [4].

1. Destinazione d’uso del prodotto
Questo prodotto serve esclusivamente ad accelerare il
processo di essiccazione dello stucco, del riempitivo,
dello smalto di base e di quello trasparente. Il prodotto
non deve essere usato per scopi diversi da quelli di es-
siccazione indicati.
Questo prodotto deve essere utilizzato esclusivamente
con il filtro in vetro intatto. Un filtro in vetro mancante o
danneggiato potrebbe comportare l’emissione di radi-
azioni UVC e UVB pericolose. Nel caso dei lavoratori a
distanza ravvicinata dalla lampada in funzione (1,5 metri),
il limite giornaliero dovrebbe essere fissato ad 1 ora
di lavoro al giorno. Per non compromettere il livello di
sicurezza elevato del prodotto, si raccomanda di utiliz-
zare esclusivamente ricambi originali.
La temperatura ambiente massima durante il funziona-
mento non deve superare i 40 °C.
Non utilizzare il prodotto per aerografi o ad una distanza
compresa tra i 5 m da altre attività che prevedono l’uti-
lizzo di spray a base di solvente al fine di evitare rischi di
esplosione.
2. Descrizione del prodotto
L’IRT-UVA Prepcure è facilmente manovrabile ed è dotato
di una cassette compatte. Ogni cassetta è munita di una
lampade UVA da 1000 W ad alta efficienza in modo da
rendere il processo di essiccazione estremamente rapi-
do.
Il design combinato con una molla a gas rende più sem-
plice la regolazione della cassetta. Il controllore consente
controllo individuale di ogni cassetta. Il tempo può esse-
re impostato a 0-15 min.
Essiccazione con UV
La luce ultravioletta generata da una lampada UV intera-
gisce con le sostanza presenti nello speciale rivestimento
per garantire una essiccazione durevole e di qualità. In
molte applicazioni, l’essiccazione UV è in grado di rag-
giungere l’essiccazione in minor tempo, ciò significa un
costo totale più basso rispetto ad altri processi di rivesti-
mento.
Il rivestimento UV contiene meno solventi rispetto alle
vernici tradizionali, di conseguenza si ha un minore im-
patto sull’ambiente.
Per ottenere una essiccazione rapida e di ottima qualità,
è necessario che ci sia abbastanza intensità UV-A. IRT
UVA PrepCure dispone di un’incredibile intensità per
poter ottenere la migliore essiccazione possibile.

4. Istruzioni per il titolare
Il titolare dell’essiccatore mobile è tenuto a fornire chiare
istruzioni per l’uso, sulla base delle condizioni presenti sul
posto di lavoro, e di renderle disponibili a tutti gli operatori.
Gli essiccatori mobili devono attenersi alle seguenti istruzioni
per l’uso.
Questo apparecchio non è destinato all’uso da parte di per-
sone (inclusi bambini) con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali
o mentali, o con mancanza di esperienza e conoscenza, a
meno che non siano sorvegliati o istruiti per l’uso dell’appa-
recchio da una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza.
Questo prodotto deve essere utilizzato esclusivamente con
il filtro in vetro intatto. Un filtro in vetro mancante o dan-
neggiato potrebbe comportare l’emissione di radiazioni UVC
e UVB pericolose. Nel caso dei lavoratori a distanza ravvici-
nata dalla lampada in funzione (1,5 metri), il limite giornaliero

Come misure appropriate, utilizzare sempre una protezione
per gli occhi durante i lavori in aree esposte alle radiazioni
UV.
5. Istruzioni per la sicurezza
Incendio ed esplosione
Non conservare, preparare o utilizzare materiali contenenti
solvente entro un raggio di 5 m dall’essiccatore mobile. I
materiali infiammabili non devono essere collocati in pros-
simità di un dispositivo di essiccazione in uso.
Non puntare mai la cassetta verso materiali altamente in-
fiammabili. L’essiccatore non deve essere esposto a vapori
di vernice, polvere di levigatura o solventi, poiché vi è il
rischio di incendio e di esplosione. Inoltre, la durata di servi-
zio dell’essiccatore potrebbe ridursi notevolmente. Lasciare
che l’essiccatore si raffreddi.
Apparecchiature elettriche
L’essiccatore mobile opera con una tensione elettrica molto
pericolosa.
Accesso alle apparecchiature elettriche
Prima di accedere alle parti sotto tensione, disinserire il
connettore principale dalla presa a muro. Solo gli elettricisti
professionisti possono avere accesso diretto alle apparec-
chiature elettriche.
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, deve essere
sostituito dal produttore, da un rivenditore autorizzato o da
personale qualificato, in modo da evitare eventuali pericoli
Superficie calda
Il filtro in vetro davanti alla lampada UV può diventare
estremamente caldo, e il raffreddamento può richiedere
molto tempo dopo l’uso dell’attrezzatura.
Avvertenza!
LE RADIAZIONI UV POSSONO CAUSARE LESIONI E
DANNI MATERIALI!
• Per ridurre il pericolo di lesioni o danni materiali
dovuti alle radiazioni UV, leggere, comprendere e
seguire le seguenti istruzioni per la sicurezza. Inoltre,
assicurarsi che chiunque utilizza tali apparecchi di
riscaldamento segua le istruzioni di sicurezza.
• Le mani, il viso e le altre parti del corpo non devono
essere esposte al calore e alle radiazioni. Non rima-
nere davanti alla cassetta della lampada durante
l’essiccazione senza apparecchiature di sicurezza.
• Utilizzare sempre una protezione per gli occhi. La
mancata osservanza di queste precauzioni potrebbe
provocare lesioni a lungo termine agli occhi.
• Se una persona che assume dei farmaci lavora in-
torno alle radiazioni UV, è necessario controllare tali
medicinali per assicurarsi che non rendano la per-
sona più sensibile alla luce.
• Non guardare direttamente la fonte luminosa.
• Non utilizzare il vetro di protezione è rotto o man-
cante.Questi vetri filtrano le radiazioni indesiderate
presenti nella luce.

6. Operazione
Accendere l’interruttore principale.
Selezionare le desiderate cassette premendo il pulsante
in alto a destra con i due simboli della lampada. La sele-
zione viene illustrato sul display. Impostare il timer con il
tempo consigliato premendo i bottoni (+) o (-). Per av-
viare l’unità, premere il pulsante start/stop. Per terminare
l’essicazione in anticipo, premere il pulsante Start/Stop.
Per IRT UVA-2 a due cassette, il controllore contralla una
o entrambe le cassette.
Per visualizzare il tempo di vita rimanente della lampada
UV, selezionare una delle lampade al di sopra e premere
il pulsante con il segno di percentuale (%).
NOTA: Il riavvio di una lampada calda richiede normal-
mente 4-6 minuti a seconda del tempo di durata nel
recente essicazzione eseguita.
NOTA: Quando il processo di essicazione è terminato,
non spegnere l’interruttore principale prima che la cas-
setta si è raffreddata, dopo circa 5 minuti con l’aiuto del
ventilatore. Spegnendo l’essiccatore troppo veloce ridu-
ce il tempo di vita delle lampade UVA. Anche utilizzando
le verticalmente ridurrerà il loro tempo di vita.
Trimestrale
Sostituire il filtro dell’aria almeno una volta per trimestre.
Se la superficie esterna del filtro diventa molto sporca,
deve essere cambiato in precedenza.
8. Sostituzione del filtro
1. Allentare i fermagli metallici sulle piastre laterali della
cassetta.
2. Rimuovere il filtro usato.
3. Inserire il nuovo filtro in modo che il marchio IRT sia
visibile dall’esterno.
4. Spingere i bordi lunghi del filtro nelle scanalature
della cassetta.
5. Sostituire i fermagli metallici.
Attenzione: I filtri sono monouso e pertanto non devono
essere puliti, dato che ciò causerebbe la perdita della
loro capacità di filtraggio.
9. Sostituzione della lampada UV
Contattare il distributore per ordinare lampada UV com-
presa istruzione.
Reimpostazione il timer della lampada:
Dopo aver sostituito la lampada la reimpostazione del
timer deve essere eseguito.
Reimpostare il timer della lampada UVA1: Assicurarsi
che l’interruttore generale [5] è spento. Tenere il pulsante
start/stop [1] e il tasto in alto a destra [2] premuto con-
temporaneamente mentre l’interruttore generale [5] è
acceso. Tenere premuti i tasti fino a quando un messag-
gio di conferma (L1--Reset.) appare nel display in alto.
Reimpostare il timer della lampada UVA2:
Lampada destra: Assicurarsi che l’interruttore generale
[5] è spento. Tenere il pulsante start/stop [1] e il tasto in
alto a destra [2] premuto contem-
poraneamente mentre l’interrut-
tore generale [5] è acceso. Tene-

7. Manutenzione
Prima di ogni utilizzo:
Assicurarsi che
— il cablaggio esterno non sia danneggiato
— la protezione in vetro davanti la lampada non sia
danneggiata o rimossa
— il vetro di protezione sia pulito e privo di aloni, in
quanto potrebbero ridurre l’intensità
Ogni settimana
Verificare che le lampade UV si accendano quando l’es-
siccatore mobile è in funzione.
Inoltre, controllare che tutti i cavi siano integri. Un cavo
danneggiato può comportare pericolo di morte!

10. Risoluzione dei problemi
Problema
Le lampade UVA si accendono ma si spengono automa-
ticamente dopo qualche istante.
Possibile soluzione:
La lampada è esaurita. Contattare il proprio distributore
e ordinare una lampada nuova.
Problema
La lampada non si accende.
Possibile soluzione
Assicurarsi che venga rispettato il tempo di raffredda-
mento delle lampade. Il tempo di raffreddamento au-
menta se è presente un filtro dell’aria sporco.
La lampada consumata. Contattare il distributore e ordi-
nare una nuova lampada.
Il filtro in vetro è danneggiato.
Nessun’elettricità nella presa di corrente, controllare il
fusibile.
