Quick Set Up Guide

When unpacking the luminaire make sure to have a
sturdy surface to work on. Damage to the unit can occur if
dropped.
Do not immerse the fi xture in water or clean the fi xture with
a high pressure water jet or strong detergents.
Never operate the fi xture with the lens directly on a fl at
surface (e.g. table) as this may damage the lens. A
minimum distance of 0.2m/8in should be kept to other
objects.
The product is for indoor use only.
Always allow a free fl ow of air around the fi xture.
This fi xture may only be serviced by a trained technician. In
the case of a suspected malfunction contact your
distributor or Heliospectra directly.
The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be
replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a
similar qualifi ed person.
The luminaire should be positioned so that prolonged
staring into the luminaire at a distance closer than 1 meter/
40 inches is avoided.
Do not stare into the light source. LED grow lights may
contain potentially harmful light radiation. Please use UV
blocking eyewear when working in and around the
illuminated area.
Only connect the fi xture to properly grounded mains that
complies with the voltage rating on the fi xture (see power
label).
Only operate the fi xture with an undamaged power cord,
power plug and electrical outlet.
Never unplug the fi xture by pulling on the power cord.
For proper performance of the unit the ambient air
temperature shall be no higher than 40° C.

N’immergez pas l’appareil dans l’eau et n’essayez pas de le

Your SIERA light bars need to be connected to the SIERA power supply unit with the connector cables provided. The SIERA
power supply unit has 4 connection channels. The SIERA light bar should be connected in series, no more than fi ve can
be connected to each channel and no more than twelve, in total, connected to the SIERA power supply unit.
Do not attach the light bars when the power supply is plugged in.
The SIERA power supply unit can be dimmed. To use the dimming functionality you will need to attach a 1-10V dimmer to
the dimmer cable. We would recommend that you get a licenced electrician to fi t the dimmer and to fi t the required plug to
the power cable.
The SIERA light bars have a T-slot which can be used to
accomodate your mounting solution.
The support structure needs to be sturdy enough to support
the weight of the SIERA light bar.
Electrical Installation
SIERA power supply units must be installed with adequate surge protection according to the
IEEE 1100-2005 recommended practice or, in Europe, the IEC 62305 standard, or local equivalent.
Ensuring you have the correct level of protection for your facility can be complex so it is strongly
recommended that you consult a certifi ed electrical engineer.
Mounting
The SIERA power supply unit has two T-slots on each side.
The SIERA power supply unit has a vent at each end. These
vents must not be blocked, air should be able to fl ow freely to
them at all times.
