Voor gebruik dient u alle onderstaande instructies te lezen om
letsel en schade te voorkomen en om de beste resultaten met
het apparaat te bereiken. Bewaar deze handleiding op een
veilige plek. Mocht u dit apparaat aan iemand anders
overhandigen, dient u ook de gebruiksaanwijzing te
overhandigen.
In geval van schade die wordt veroorzaakt doordat de
gebruiker de instructies in deze gebruiksaanwijzing niet in
acht heeft genomen, komt de garantie te vervallen. De
fabrikant/importeur is niet aansprakelijk voor schade die
wordt veroorzaakt door het niet in acht nemen van de
gebruiksaanwijzing, door nalatig gebruik of gebruik dat niet in
overeenstemming is met de bepalingen van deze
gebruiksaanwijzing.
1. Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8
jaar en ouder, indien ze onder supervisie staan of gepaste
instructies hebben gekregen zodat ze het apparaat op een
veilige manier kunnen gebruiken en de gevaren die het
gebruik van het apparaat met zich meebrengt begrijpen.
2. Laat het reinigen en het onderhoud van het apparaat niet
uitvoeren door kinderen tenzij ze ouder zijn dan 8 jaar en
onder toezicht staan.
3. Houd het apparaat en snoer buiten het bereik van kinderen
jonger dan 8 jaar.
4. Apparaten kunnen worden gebruikt door personen met
fysische, zintuiglijke of mentale beperkingen, of die het
ontbreekt aan ervaring en kennis, mits ze onder supervisie

staan of instructies hebben gekregen omtrent het veilige
gebruik van de apparaten en inzicht hebben in de risico's
die er aan zijn verbonden.
5. Laat kinderen niet met het apparaat spelen.
6. Als het snoer is beschadigd, moet het worden vervangen
door de fabrikant, zijn klantenservice of gelijksoortig
geschoolde personen om gevaar te vermijden.
7. OPGELET: Voorkom letsel door de eierprikker. De punt van
de eierprikker is zeer scherp; wees extreem voorzichtig
tijdens de omgang ermee!
8. Dit apparaat is bestemd voor het gebruik in huishoudens
en soortgelijke toepassingen zoals: personeelskeukens in
winkels, kantoren of werkplekken; boerderijen; door
gasten in hotels, motels en andere types van huisvesting;
bed and breakfasts en vergelijkbare instellingen.
9. Waarschuwing: Voorkom morsen op de aansluiting.
10. Er bestaat een potentieel risico op letsel bij verkeerd
gebruik.
11. Het oppervlak van het verwarmingselement bezit nog
resthitte na gebruik.
12. Voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt, dient u te
controleren of de stroom en de frequentie overeen komen
met de specificaties van het typeplaatje.
13. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet in
gebruik is en voordat u het apparaat reinigt.
14. Let op dat de stroomkabel niet over scherpe randen hangt
en niet in de buurt komt van hete voorwerpen en open vuur.
15. Dompel het apparaat of de stekker niet onder in water of
andere vloeistoffen. Er bestaat levensgevaar als gevolg van
een elektrische schok!
16. Om de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen, dient u aan de
stekker zelf te trekken. Trek niet aan de stroomkabel.
17. Raak het apparaat niet aan als het in water is gevallen. Trek
de stekker uit het stopcontact en breng het ter reparatie
naar een geautoriseerd servicecenter.

18. Steek de stekker niet in het stopcontact en haal hem er niet
uit als u natte handen heeft.
19. Probeer nooit de behuizing van het apparaat te openen en
probeer nooit zelf het apparaat te repareren. Dit kan een
elektrische schok veroorzaken.
20. Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd achter wanneer het in
gebruik is.
21. Dit apparaat werd niet ontworpen voor commercieel
gebruik.
22. Gebruik het apparaat niet voor andere doeleinden dan het
beoogde doel.
23. Draai de kabel niet om het apparaat en buig hem niet.
24. Als u het apparaat per ongeluk zonder water inschakelt,
zorgt de beveiliging tegen droogkoken ervoor dat het
apparaat automatisch wordt uitgeschakeld. Als dit
optreedt, laat het apparaat afkoelen voordat u het met
water vult en opnieuw gebruikt.
25. Neem onderstaande paragraaf van de gebruiksaanwijzing
in acht wat betreft de instructies voor de reiniging.

UW EIERKOKER GEBRUIKEN
Vul de verwarmingsplaat met de nodige hoeveelheid koud water met behulp van de maatbeker.
De maatverdeling op de maatbeker stemt overeen met de hoeveelheid water om 1 tot 7 zacht-, medium-
of hardgekookte eieren te bereiden.
De gegeven maatverdeling is bedoeld voor eieren van een middelmatige grootte. Als de eieren te zacht zijn,
voeg een beetje meer water toe dan aangegeven op de maatbeker, en minder water als de eieren te hard
zijn.
Doorboor het stompe uiteinde van de eieren met behulp van de eierprikker die in de eierhouder is
geïntegreerd.
Plaats de eieren in de eierhouder en sluit het deksel.
Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.
U hoort een geluidssignaal wanneer de eieren klaar zijn.
Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Verwijder voorzichtig het deksel. Verwijder de eierhouder van de verwarmingsplaat en plaats de eieren
onder koud stromend water.
SCHOONMAAKINSTRUCTIES
Haal altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt. De
eierhouder en het deksel kunnen gewoon worden afgewassen. De verwarmingsplaat, die vastzit aan de bodem
van het apparaat, kan alleen worden schoongemaakt met een vochtige doek.
Het apparaat niet onderdompelen in water!
Wanneer er kalk op de verwarmingsplaat vastzit, kunt u normaal huishoudazijn gebruiken om de kalk te
verwijderen. Verdun de azijn met water (voeg 1 deel azijn toe aan 10 delen water). Giet de oplossing in de
verwarmingsplaat. Laat dit ongeveer 30 minuten weken. Giet de vloeistof eruit. Maak de verwarmingsplaat
schoon met een vochtige doek.
VEILIGHEIDSMAATREGELEN
Het apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt wanneer:
1. Het snoer beschadigd is.
2. Wanneer het apparaat zichtbaar beschadigd is.
3. Het apparaat op de grond is gevallen, ook al is er geen zichtbare schade.
Gebruik dit apparaat niet op een andere manier dan aangegeven in deze handleiding.

Milieu
Volgens de richtlijn afval van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur, mag dit product niet bij het huisvuil
worden weggegooid, maar dient deze apart te worden ingeleverd. Indien u in de toekomst van dit product af
wilt, gooi het dan NIET weg bij het huishoudafval, maar lever het in bij een speciaal hiervoor bedoelde plaats,
bijvoorbeeld het kca-depot van uw gemeente.
Kwaliteit
HEMA hecht grote waarde aan veiligheid en kwaliteit. We beschikken over een eigen laboratorium. Dit
laboratorium beoordeelt vóór opname in het assortiment, alle apparaten op elektrische veiligheid en
gebruikseigenschappen. Daarnaast bewaakt HEMA samen met de fabrikant de productkwaliteit.
Beveiliging
Het is mogelijk dat dit HEMA artikel voorzien is van een kunststof beveiligingsstrip. U vindt de strip dan aan de
onderzijde van het apparaat. Deze strip heeft geen invloed op de kwaliteit of werkwijze van het artikel en kan
zonder problemen worden verwijderd.
Storingen en reparatie
Bij een defect toestel, het apparaat ter reparatie aanbieden bij een Hema-vestiging.
Voer zelf geen reparaties uit aan het toestel.
Ingeval reparatie nodig is, kunt u het apparaat goed verpakt, bij voorkeur in de originele verpakking, inleveren
bij een Hema-vestiging. Indien binnen de garantietermijn, de garantiebon meebrengen.
Garantiebepalingen
Wij garanderen de kwaliteit
Hema B.V. garandeert het op de garantiebewijsbon vermelde artikel volledig tegen gebreken als gevolg van
materiaal- en fabricagefouten. Voor alle elektrisch huishoudelijke apparaten is de garantietermijn 2 jaar na de
datum van aankoop.
De garantie op het artikel vervalt indien
a. het defect is ontstaan door ondeskundig of oneigenlijk gebruik, verwaarlozing, aansluiten op de verkeerde
netspanning of door vallen of stoten;
b. u, gedurende de garantieperiode, het artikel zelf of door een niet-HEMA reparateur heeft geprobeerd te
herstellen.
Als u aanspraak kunt en wilt maken op garantie
Dient het artikel, vergezeld van de garantiebewijsbon, te worden aangeboden in één van onze vestigingen. In
het algemeen zal, behoudens bijzondere omstandigheden, de reparatie binnen 14 werkdagen geheel gratis
worden uitgevoerd.
Extra zekerheid voor een goede keus
Als u met de aankoop van het artikel achteraf toch niet gelukkig bent (bijvoorbeeld omdat de uitvoering
tegenvalt of een dubbele aankoop heeft plaatsgevonden), kunt u binnen 30 dagen na aankoop, mits

onbeschadigd en in originele verpakking, het artikel terugbrengen. Neem dan wel altijd de kassabon mee. U
kunt het artikel dan ruilen of desgewenst uw geld terug krijgen.
Deze garantiebepalingen zijn van toepassing in alle landen waar Hema vestigingen heeft.

9. Avertissement : Évitez tout déversement sur le connecteur.
10. Il y a un risque potentiel de blessures en cas d’utilisation

12. Avant d’insérer la fiche de l’appareil dans une prise secteur,

13. Débranchez la fiche électrique de la prise électrique quand

15. N'immergez jamais l'appareil ou sa fiche dans de l'eau ni
dans aucun autre liquide. Cela peut provoquer un choc

16. Pour débrancher la fiche de la prise, saisissez la fiche et
tirez-la hors de la prise. Ne tirez pas sur le cordon
d’alimentation.

17. Ne touchez pas l’appareil s’il tombe dans de l’eau.
Débranchez la fiche de la prise électrique et rapportez-le au
centre de réparation agréé pour le faire réparer.
18. Ne branchez pas et ne débranchez pas l’appareil de la prise
électrique avec les mains mouillées.
19. N’essayez pas d’ouvrir le boîtier de l’appareil ni de réparer
l’appareil vous-même. Cela peut provoquer un choc
électrique.
20. Ne laissez jamais l'appareil sans surveillance quand il est en
fonctionnement.
21. Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour un usage commercial.
22. N’utilisez pas cet appareil à un usage autre que celui pour
lequel il a été conçu.
23. N’enroulez pas le cordon d’alimentation autour de
l’appareil et ne le pliez pas.
24. Si vous laissez accidentellement l'appareil fonctionner sans
eau, la protection anti-chauffage à sec arrêtera
automatiquement le fonctionnement. Si cela se produit,
laissez l'appareil refroidir avant de le remplir d'eau et de le
remettre en marche.

UTILISER VOTRE CUISEUR A ŒUFS
Remplissez le bac à eau avec la quantité d’eau froide requise à l’aide du verre doseur.
La graduation sur le verre doseur correspond à la quantité d’eau requise pour obtenir 1 à 7 œufs à la coque,
mollets ou durs.
Les graduations sont fournies pour des œufs de taille moyenne. Si les œufs sont trop mous, ajoutez un peu
plus d’eau qu’indiqué sur le verre, et s’ils sont trop durs, ajoutez-en moins.
Percez l’extrémité des œufs avec le pique-œuf intégré dans le plateau à œufs.
Placez les œufs dans le plateau à œufs et fermez le couvercle.
Branchez le cuiseur à œufs.
L’appareil sonne quand les œufs sont prêts.
Débranchez le cuiseur à œufs de la prise murale.
Retirez le couvercle. Retirez le plateau à œufs du bac à eau, puis placez les œufs sous de l’eau courante
froide.
INSTRUCTIONS POUR LE NETTOYAGE
Toujours débrancher l’appareil et laisser refroidir avant de nettoyer. Le plateau à oeufs et le couvercle peuvent
être lavés normalement. Cependant, la plaque chauffante fixée au fonds de l’appareil ne peut être nettoyée
qu’avec un chiffon humidifié.
NE PAS PLONGER L’APPAREIL DANS L’EAU!
Lorsque trop de calcaire s’est déposé sur la plaque chauffante, du vinaigre normale de cuisine peut être utilisé
pour l’éliminer. Diluer le vinaigre dans de l’eau (1 dose de vinaigre pour 10 doses d’eau). Verser la solution sur
la plaque. Laisser pénétrer 30 minutes. Puis vider le liquide. Essuyer la plaque avec un chiffon humide.
MESURES DE SÉCURITÉ
Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé lorsque:
1. Le cordon est endommagé.
2. L’appareil présente des parties endommagées
3. L’appareil est tombé sur le sol, même si aucun dommage n’est visible.
Ne pas utiliser cet appareil pour d’autres but que ceux présentés dans ce manuel.

Environnement
D’après la directive relative aux déchets d’appareils électriques et électroniques, il ne faut pas jeter ce produit
avec les ordures ménagères, mais le déposer à part. Lorsque vous désirerez vous débarrasser de ce produit, NE
le placez PAS dans la poubelle, mais déposez-le à l'endroit prévu à cet effet, par exemple à la déchetterie de
votre commune.

Ce laboratoire évalue la sécurité électrique et les propriétés d’utilisation de tous les appareils avant leur
insertion dans l’assortiment. En outre, HEMA contrôle la qualité du produit en collaboration avec le fabricant.
Sécurité
Il est possible que cet article HEMA soit pourvu d’une bande de protection en plastique. Cette bande se trouve
en dessous de l’appareil. Elle n’a aucune influence sur la qualité ou le fonctionnement de l'article et peut être
enlevée sans problème.
Réparation
Si une réparation est nécessaire, vous pouvez rapporter l’appareil, bien emballé, dans un magasin HEMA. S’il est
toujours sous garantie, il doit être accompagné du bon de garantie et du bon d’achat. Vous pouvez porter votre
appareil à réparer dans tous les magasins HEMA. Vérifiez régulièrement si le cordon n’est pas abîmé. Lorsque le
cordon est abîmé, faites réparer l’appareil dans un magasin Hema. Ne pas remplacer le cordon soi-même. Pour
des raisons de sécurité, il est conseillé de ne pas réparer soi-même des appareils électriques.
Conditions de garantie
Nous vous garantissons la qualité
Hema B.V. offre une garantie totale sur l'article mentionné sur le bon de garantie en cas de défauts occasionnés
par des vices de fabrication ou de matériel. Pour tous les appareils ménagers électriques, le délai de garantie est
de 2 ans après la date d'achat.
La garantie est annulée dans le cas suivants :
a. le défaut est causé par une utilisation incompétente ou abusive, par négligence, par un mauvais branchement
ou suite à une chute ou un choc ;
b. vous avez tenté, durant la période de garantie, de réparer vous-même l'article ou de le faire réparer par un
réparateur autre que HEMA .
Si vous voulez et pouvez faire usage de la garantie
L'article, accompagné du ticket de caisse, doit être apporté en réparation dans l'un de nos magasins. En règle
générale la réparation est effectuée dans un délai de 15 jours - sauf en cas de circonstances exceptionnelles - et
entièrement gratuitement.
Une sécurité supplémentaire pour être sûr de votre choix
Si toutefois vous n'étiez pas satisfait de l'article (par exemple, si le modèle ne vous plaît pas ou que vous avez
fait un achat double), vous pouvez ramener l'article intact et dans son emballage d'origine dans les 30 jours qui

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in
order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results
from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe
place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else
make sure to also include this manual.
In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the
instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The
manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages
caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use
not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and if they understand the hazards involved.
2. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

11. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat
after use.
12. Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please
check that the voltage and frequency comply with the
specifications on the rating label.
13. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the
appliance is not in use and before cleaning.
14. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges
and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.
15. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water
or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock!
16. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do
not pull the power cord.
17. Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the
plug from its socket and send it to an authorized service
center for repair.
18. Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the electrical
outlet with a wet hand.
19. Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance, or to
repair the appliance yourself. This could cause electric
shock.
20. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
21. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
22. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
23. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not
bend it.
24. Should you accidentally allow the appliance to operate
without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically
switch it off. If this occurs, allow the appliance to cool
before filling with water and turning it on.

HOW TO USE YOUR EGG BOILER
Fill the heating plate with the required amount of cold water, using the measuring cup.
The graduations on the measuring cup correspond to the amount of water required to obtain 1 to 7 soft,
medium or hard-boiled eggs.
The graduations are given for medium-sized eggs. If the eggs are too soft, add a little more water than
indicated on the cup, or less water if the eggs get too hard.
Pierce the blunt end of the eggs with the egg piercer which is integrated in the egg tray.
Put the eggs into the egg tray and close the lid.
Plug in the egg boiler.
A buzzer sounds when the eggs are ready.
Disconnect the egg boiler from the wall socket.
Take off the lid. Remove the egg tray from the heating plate and run the eggs under cold tap water.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Always unplug the appliance and allow cooling before cleaning. The egg tray and the cover can be washed
normally. However, the heating plate which is fixed to the bottom of the appliance can only be cleaned with a
moistened towel.
Do not immerse the appliance in water!
When excessive scales are deposited on the heating plate, normal household vinegar can be used to remove the
scales. Dilute the vinegar with water (add 1 part vinegar to 10 parts of water). Pour the solution onto the heating
plate. Allow soaking for about 30 minutes. Then pour away the liquid. Wipe the heating plate clean with a
moistened towel.
SAFETY MEASURES
The appliance should not be used when:
1. The cable is damaged.
2. The appliance can be visually seen damaged.
3. The appliance has been dropped onto the floor, even if visible damage is not seen.

Environment
In compliance with the directives on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, this product must not be
discarded with domestic waste but should be disposed of separately for recycling. If you wish to dispose of this
product in the future, do NOT throw it away with the household rubbish but hand it in at a specially designated
place, such as your municipal domestic chemical waste depot.
Quality
Safety and quality is very important to HEMA. We have our own laboratory, which assesses all equipment in
terms of electrical safety and ease of use, before it is included in our range. HEMA also monitors the product
quality in collaboration with the manufacturer.
Security
This HEMA item may be fitted with a plastic anti-theft strip. You will find the strip on the bottom of the product.
This strip does not influence the quality or the operation of the product and can be removed without a problem.
Faults and repairs
If this device needs to be repaired, you can hand it in at a HEMA branch after packing the product securely. Do
not try to repair this product yourself. For repairs that fall within the warranty period, you will need to show a
proof of purchase and the warranty document. Regularly check the power cord for damage. If there is any
damage to the cord set, please return the item to a HEMA branch for repair. Do not try to replace it yourself.
For safety reasons we recommend that you do not carry out any repairs to an electrical device yourself.
Warranty conditions
HEMA B.V. fully guarantees the product named on the warranty receipt, against all defects caused by material
and manufacturing errors.
For all domestic electrical appliances, the warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase.
The warranty on this item is invalidated if:
a. the defect occurs through incorrect or improper use, neglect, connection to the wrong power voltage, or if
dropped or knocked;
b. you have attempted to repair the item yourself, or have had it repaired by a repair service other than HEMA
during the warranty period.
If you wish to make a claim under the warranty terms:
You will need to hand in the item at one of our branches together with the warranty receipt. Under normal
circumstances the item will be repaired free of charge within 14 workdays.
Extra certainty for the right choice
If, after purchasing the item, you are dissatisfied (because it is not exactly what you expected or you already
have this item), you can return the item within 30 days of purchase, on condition that it is undamaged and in
the original packaging.
Remember that you must always bring your sales receipt.
You can either exchange the item or request a refund.
