Delivery
The filter unit is delivered on a pallet, which can be used for the further transport of the unit. Transport
must be completed with the help of suitable means of conveyance (forklift, pallet truck, etc.).
When transported further with no or modified original packaging, the system must be perfectly secured
and protected against damage. The applicable safety regulations must be observed.
Unpacking
1. Place the pallet on a flat and suitable surface.
2. Cut the plastic tension straps, e.g. with a pair of scissors.
3. Remove the protective film.
4. Lift the appliance off the pallet at the handles with the help of at least another person and set it
down on the appliance casters.
Regular transport
For transport between different setup locations on the same floor of a building, the air purifier is fitted
with casters that allow the appliance to be rolled without effort.
1. Switch the appliance off at the main switch.
2. Disconnect the power plug and place the cord on top of the appliance.
3. Release the brakes of the casters and push the appliance to its new place of operation.
4. Engage the brakes.
Notice:
The appliance must not be exposed to moisture during transport.
Caution:
The plastic tension straps may be under pressure and snap back when they are cut.
Notice:
Transporting the appliance across floors is not recommended due to its weight.
4. Intended use
The air purifier reduces the concentration of germs and viruses, including corona viruses. For this
purpose, the room air is sucked in through a filter system with the help of a fan and dispersed into the
room through an outflow opening. The Blue.care+operates with a HEPA H14 filter set that provides for
effective air purification.
The air purifier is capable of purifying interior rooms (e.g. offices or meeting rooms) by boosting the
exchange of air per hour by a factor of 4 to 6. The scale found on the appliance refers to a room height of
2.5 m. For the exact settings to be made at the volume flow regulator, refer to the table:
Level 10 is the level to choose for maximum speed. Please note that the noise of the appliance will
increase at level 10.
The system may only be used for this purpose.
Intended use also comprises complying with all instructions provided in the user manual and performing
the steps necessary for inspection and maintenance as specified.
Improper use
Any other use of the appliance exceeding or deviating from the scope of intended use is considered
improper use and may lead to dangerous situations.

applicable regulatory requirements and to perform general cleaning nor from their
obligation to preserve the quality of the room air by, for instance, providing for regular
ventilation and to reduce the risk of direct infection by adhering to sanitary rules such as
the mandate to wear masks and observe minimum distances.

Filter change
The filters need to be replaced every 6 months provided they are used as intended and for an average
period of no more than 40-50 hours per week. Do not dispose of the used filter set unless wearing the
prescribed protective equipment in order to avoid direct contact.
1. To change the filter, place the appliance in a room that is not in use
(see section “Regular transport”).
2. Have the replacement filter ready.
3. Put on the personal protective equipment (PPE).
4. Open the 4 locks on the maintenance door by rotating them a quarter turn using the included key.
5. Open the two tensioners to allow the filter housing to lower down.
6. Cover the floor in the work area with a single-use pad. Prepare the tear-resistant plastic bag such
that the used filter can be placed inside the bag as quickly as possible.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and spare parts
Safety instructions
Exterior cleaning
Prior to cleaning, the appliance always has to be taken out of service and disconnected by pulling the
power plug.
Use a sufficiently damp cloth and a common cleaning agent for cleaning. The work necessary to care
for the appliance is largely limited to a regular cleaning of the surfaces. No liquids must enter into the
electrical parts or through the vent slots.
Do not use cleaners that contain solvents!
Danger:
Do not clean filters! This will expel viruses and harmful substances into the room air.
Do not change filters unless the appliance is switched off and you are wearing personal
protective equipment. Used filters must be disposed of in a sealed and tear-resistant
plastic bag of appropriate size. The original spare part is sealed in a back that is suitable
for disposal.
Warning:
Do not open the maintenance door unless the appliance is switched off and the power plug
has been disconnected.
When changing the filter, take care not to damage the filter medium. The filter element is
held in place only by the frame.
Notice:
To keep it from jamming, do not lock the door on the appliance unless the filter has been
clamped in and the clamping screws have been tightened.

7. Start by using the handle to pull out the main filter until it can be grasped and place the filter into
the plastic bag immediately. Avoid vibrations while doing so. Seal the bag airtight right away. Next,
raise the prefilter, pull it out using the handle and place it into the plastic bag immediately. Avoid
vibrations while doing so. Seal the bag airtight.
8. Install the new filters in the correct position and the right order (follow the labeling on the filters).
Prefilter and main filter are installed at the bottom and the top, respectively. The handles point
towards the maintenance door, while the arrows on the filters point in flow control direction.
9. Slide in the prefilter all the way and insert it behind the metal rail. The main filter must be pushed
in all the way above the prefilter.
10. Close both locks of the tensioner. Verify that the filters are clamped tightly and that the seal of the
main filter abuts tightly at the top on the appliance housing.
11. Close the door of the appliance. Finish by locking all four locks on the maintenance door by rotating
them a quarter turn using the included key.
12. The HEPA H14 filter set is composed of materials that can be disposed of with the regular household
waste. However, please follow all applicable legal provisions and local regulations as well.
Notice:
Do not grasp the filter in the area of the pleats as these may easily become damaged to a
point where proper operation can no longer be guaranteed.
