IMPORTANT!
Afterspreading salt, ice melteror
fertilizerthe spreaderhoppershould
be washed thoroughly with waterto
remove any corrosive residue. Special
care should be takento prevent water
from entering the motoraround the
motorshaft. If youuse a high
pressure washerto cleanthe hopper
do not spray the pressurized water
stream directly at the motorshaft or
youmight displace the grease from
underthe rubberboot covering the
motorbearing.
The electric motorissealed and no
maintenance canbe performed except
to wipe off any residue onthe exterior
of the motorhousing.
