Before replacing the
footswitch base test the
required keystroke func-
tion .
This is done by plugging
the footswitch into a USB
port on the PC and press-
ing each footswitch in turn.

USB Multipedal Footswitches
The Herga USB footswitch is pro-
grammed by the user to simulate up
to four simultaneous keystrokes per
switch. No software installation is
required as it will be recognised by
the Operating system once plugged
into a USB socket .
Programming is done simply by
setting small switches inside the
footswitch having removed the base.
(See pages 2 and 3)

Der Herga USB Fußschalter kann
vom Benutzer programmiert werden,
um bis zu vier Tasten gleichzeitig zu
simulieren. Software oder Treiber
sind nicht erforderlich. Der
Fußschalter wird durch das
Betriebssystem automatisch erkannt,
sobald er an einen USB-Port
angeschlossen ist.
Die Programmierung erfolgt über
kleine Schalteinheiten im Inneren
des Fußschalters, nachdem der
Deckel entfernt wurde (siehe Seite 2
und 3).

La pédale USB de Herga est pro-
grammée par l'utilisateur pour simuler
jusqu'à quatre frappes simultanées.
Aucune installation de logiciel n’est
nécessaire car la pédale sera recon-
nue automatiquement par le système
d’exploitation dès qu’elle sera con-
nectée.
La programmation est faite simple-
ment en paramétrant les commuta-
teurs (SW1,2,..) situés dans la pé-
dale. Ils sont accessibles après avoir
retiré le capot (voir instruction page 2
et 3).

Setting the Footswitch Function
Remove the screws holding on the base
Find the Key (or combination of keys ) you require on the tables below and
set Switches 2 or Switch 3 accordingly.
For test purposes the footswitch is supplied with the switches set to the
character ‘a’
