A. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using.
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
Incorrect use of the device may damage the device and harm the user.
Before switching ON the appliance for the first time please check if the technical specifications indicated on the
unit correspond to the mains parameters.
CAUTION! The plug of the power cord is a BS 3 Pin “Earthed” type.
Plug the device only into the corresponding “Earthed” sockets.
Use the device only for household purposes and in accordance with this operating manual. The device is not
intended for industrial use.
Do not use outdoor.
Always unplug the device from the socket before cleaning the device or if you are not using the device.
The device may not be used by persons (including children) with under developed physical, mental and sensual.
Abilities when these persons do not have the experience or the knowledge or if they are not supervised or
guided by a person who is responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised at all times and should never play with the device.
Do not leave switched ON device unattended.
Do not use any parts and or accessories which are not included in the package.

Do not use the device if the power cord and or the plug are damaged.
Do not immerse the device and the power cord in water or other liquids. However, if this happened, do not
attemp to re-operate the device again and send to an authorized service center to check the operability and
safety of the device.
Make sure do not twist or wrap the power cord around the device.
This device is to be used only for food preparation.
Do not turn ON the power or use the device when the inner pot is empty and or without the inner pot.
Do not use metal items which may scrath the inner pot.
No object is allowed to be placed on or surrounding the heating plate (Underneath the inner pot) of the device.
Do not use any metal, hard and or sharp edge objects to avoid scratches on the surface of inner pot.
The inner “Non Stick Coating” of the inner pot may initially wear off, therefore be careful when using the pot.
Do not let water get into the steam vent in order to avoid short circuit.
The main body of device may be hot during usage, any contact with the device if needed, kindly use cooking
gloves to avoid any injury.
Keep away from the steam vent during and after the usage of device.

Do not attempt to block the steam vent by whatsoever method.
Always leave the outer lid of device uncovered.
Any repairing job must be carried out by an authorized service center.

C. INSTALLATION
Empty all packing materials and object from the rice cooker.
No object and or item is allowed to place on top of the device.
Place the device on a dry, even and heat-proof surface. Do not place the device close to combustible
materials, explosives and self-igniting gases.
Do not place the device close to a gas or electric stove or any other sources of heat.
Do not place the device very close to walls or furniture.
Do not put anything on top of the device. Do not cover the steam vent.
Do not use or operate the device inside a kitchen cabinet. For proper operation, the device needs free
space for ventilation : at least 20cm from the top, 10cm from the back and 5cm from the sides.
Note :
The inner pot contains a water level indication. The scale on the right indicates the number of cups for rice
(1 cup - 160ml), the scale on the left indicates liters for water.
The maximum amount of cereal/rice to be cooked - 10 cups and 1.8 liters of water.
Use a separate container to wash the rice to avoid damaging the non-stick coating of the inner pot.
The level marked inside the inner pot is just an indication. You can always adjust the water level for different
types of rice or ingredients and your own preference.
Make sure that the outside of the inner pot is dry and clean, and that there is no foreign residue on the
heating element.

D. INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Clean the parts and accessories of the rice cooker thoroughly before using the rice cooker for the first time. Make
sure all parts are completely dry before you start using the rice cooker.
Ensure water and food in the inner pot must not exceed 3/5 of its capacity to avoid overflow situation.
For food products that will expand in hot water such as rice, dry vegetables and others, the food and water
must not exceed 1/5 of its capacity.
Place the inner pot inside the main body or the rice cooker.
Close the outer lid until a “Click” sound is heard.
Connect the device to the power supply and switch ON.
Press MENU button to select the presetting cooking programs (Press several times from program #1-8), the
program indicator light will be on. The cooking time can be adjusted by pressing TIME+ and TIME- button.
After cooking program selected, press START button to start your cooking.
Press RESET button to cancel your original cooking program selection and the device will automatically switch
to standby mode.
If the device is not at any cooking process, it will automatically switch to keep warm mode by pressing the
RESET button.
After each cooking program selected, you can preset the delayed cooking time by pressing the TIMER button
and adjust to your desired cooking time by pressing TIME+ and TIME- buttons. The delayed cooking time will
be appeared on the LED display for your attention.
YOGHURT, FRY and DESSERT cooking programs are not available in delayed cooking program.

F. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Turn OFF the power supply and unplug the device before starting to clean it.
Wait until the device has cooled down sufficiently before cleaning it.
Cleaning
Interior
• Wipe the inside of the outer lid, main body and heating element with wrung out and damp cloth.
• Make sure to remove all the food residues stuck to the device.
Exterior
• Wipe surface of the outer lid and outside of the main body with a cloth damped with soap water.
• Only use soft and dry cloth to wipe the control panel.
• Make sure to remove all the food residues around the control buttons.
Accessories: rice scoop, inner pot, measuring cup and steamer.
• Soak in water and clean with sponge.
STORAGE
Ensure the inner pot is completely dry before put in to the device.
Put the device in a cool and dry place and keep away from direct sunlight.
Always follow the guidelines in CARE & MAINTENANCE before storing the device.

G. TROUBLESHOOTING
IMPORTANT
In the event of ERROR CODE shown on the display, immediately switch OFF the power supply. Wait until the
device cool down and try to ON it back. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service center for further
assistance.
•
Solution
There is a connection problem. Check if the power cord is connected to
the cooker properly and if the plug is inserted firmly into the power
outlet.
The light is defective. Take the device to an authorized service center.
The rice cooker is not connected to the power supply.
The display is defective. Take the device to an authorized service
center.
There is not enough water. Add water according to the scale on the
inside of the inner pot.
You did not press the START button.
Make sure that there is no foreign residue on the heating element and
the outside of the inner pot before switching the rice cooker ON.
The heating element is damaged, or the inner pot is deformed. Take the
cooker to an authorized service center.
Problem
The lights on the LED display
does not go on.
The display does not function.
The rice is not cooked.

G. TROUBLESHOOTING
Solution
Add more water.
The temperature control is defective. Take the device to an authorized
service center.
Make sure that you add water to the level indicated on the scale inside
the inner pot that corresponds to the number of cups of rice used.
Make sure the water does not exceed the next level on the scale, as
this may cause the device to overflow during cooking.
Press the MENU button repeatedly to select the desired function as
shown by the LED indicator.
Clean the inner pot with some washing detergent and warm water.
After cooking, make sure the steam vent, inner lid and inner pot are
cleaned thoroughly.
Problem
The rice is not well cooked.
The cooker does not switch to
keep warm mode automatically.
Water spills out of the rice
cooker during cooking.
Cannot get to the desired
cooking function.
Rice smells bad after cooking.
