1. Allgemeines
Die Staubschutz-Tür HEYLO DCD-3.0 ist ein Arbeitsmittel für das Handwerk und
dient der schnellen und sicheren Abschottung von Wandöffnungen (Türen, Fenster,
Durchreichen) des Arbeits- bzw. Schmutzbereichs gegenüber dem Weißbereich des
Gebäudes. Während Sanierungsarbeiten können mit der DCD-3.0 also andere
Gebäudeteile sicher vor Staub geschützt werden.
Die DCD-3.0 kann für Türbreiten von 680 mm bis 830 mm eingesetzt werden. Optional
können Türbreiten bis zu 1430 mm abgeschottet werden, mittels zusätzlich lieferbarer
Adapter.
Die DCD-3.0 in Kombination mit Filter-Ventilatoren und Schläuchen ergibt das
Staubschutzsystem DCS – zur Unterdruckhaltung oder Staubabsaugung. Durch
Anschluss von HEYLO Filter-Ventilatoren an die DCD-3.0 außerhalb des Arbeits-
bereichs wird im zu renovierenden Bereich ein Unterdruck erzeugt, der verhindert,
dass sich der Feinstaub in angrenzende Räume verteilt. Sobald die Filter-Ventilatoren
innerhalb des Arbeitsbereichs am Ort der Staubentstehung aufgestellt werden, ergibt
sich die Staubabsaug-Funktion.
Leicht transportiert und schnell installiert, erspart das Staubschutz-System DCS Zeit,
Geld und Komplikationen. Eine aufwendige Nachreinigung wie bei wassergestützten
Systemen ist nicht notwendig – einfach die eingesetzten Filter reinigen bzw.
ausklopfen.
Achtung: Bei belasteter Luft und beim Einsatz von H 13/H14-Filtern sind diese zu
entsorgen (siehe Abschnitt „Aufstellrichtlinien“).

4. Montage
Anwendung der Adapter
Ist die Tür zum renovierenden Bereich breiter als 830 mm, wird die DCD-3.0 - je nach
Türbreite - vor dem Einsetzen mit den entsprechenden Verlängerungsadaptern A, B, C
oder D versehen.

Montage DCD-3.0
Vor der Montage sollten, bei Bedarf, die Verschlusskappen
(E) entfernt werden (nach der Montage der DCD ist deren
Entfernung nicht mehr möglich!)
Die Einheit wird mit der rechten Hand am Haltegriff (F)
rückseitig und mit der linken Hand am Spanngriff (G)
festgehalten.
Dann wird der Spannhebel (G) in 90° zur Einheit aufgestellt.
Das System ist jetzt entspannt und kann grob in der Tür
justiert werden. Die Seite mit dem Spannhebel zeigt dabei
zum Schwarzbereich.
Mit dem Spannen des Spanngriffes (G) wird die Einheit fest in
der Tür fixiert.
Die mitgelieferten PVC-Folien (H) werden jetzt passend zur
Türbreite an der DCD befestigt.
Die erste Folie mittels Klettband befestigen, hinter die
Befestigungsklammern (J) schieben und mit Hilfe der
Rändelschraube (K) festklemmen. Anschließend die zweite
Folie etwa 20 cm überlappend anbringen (s. Folie 1).
Bei Bedarf können die beiden Folien (Länge 2 m) mit einem
Cutter gekürzt werden.

Jetzt können – je nach Anwendungsfall (s. Abschnitt 5) – ein
oder zwei Schläuche (Ø 203 mm) durch die Öffnungen der
DCD geführt werden.
Es gibt nun verschiedene Möglichkeiten das Staubschutz-
System DCS zu nutzen. Je nach Anwendungsfall (siehe
Abschnitt 5), können im Weiß- oder Schwarzbereich Filter-
Ventilatoren aufgestellt und angeschlossen werden. Das DCS
ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
Staubschutz-System DCS
Die DCD-3.0 wird zusammen mit Filter-Ventilatoren, entsprechenden Filtern,
Schläuchen und Schlauchadaptern zum Gesamt-System „DCS“ kombiniert.
Als Filter-Ventilatoren werden von HEYLO folgende Produkte empfohlen:

5. Anwendungen
Türabschottung
Unterdruckhaltung
Partikelabsaugung aus dem Schwarzbereich
Türabschottung
Mit Folie und Verschlussklappen montiert, dient die DCD-3.0 der Abschottung von
Wandöffnungen.

Unterdruckhaltung
Die DCD-3.0 in Kombination mit einem oder zwei im Weißbereich in unmittelbarer
Nähe der DCD-3.0 aufgestellten Filter-Ventilator(en) und Schlauchanschluss ergibt das
Staubschutz-System DCS – zur Unterdruckhaltung im Saugverfahren. Die Anzahl und
Größe der verwendeten Filter-Ventilatoren ist jeweils durch die Größe des
abzuschottenden Schwarzbereichs bestimmt. Zur Projektierung der jeweiligen Anlage
kann gegebenenfalls der Fachmann von HEYLO Auskunft erteilen.

Partikelabsaugung aus dem Schwarzbereich
Falls Staub im Schwarzbereich an der Entstehungsstelle abgesaugt werden soll, ist der
Filter-Ventilator jeweils an dieser Stelle im Schwarzbereich zu installieren, und die
gereinigte Abluft im Druckverfahren über einen Schlauch durch die DCD-3.0 in den
Weißbereich zu führen. Gleichzeitig entwickelt sich durch diese Installation ein
Unterdruck im Schwarzbereich, der das Eindringen von Staub in den Weißbereich
verhindert. Bei größeren Räumen oder stärkerem Staubanfall können bis zu 2 Filter-
Ventilatoren im Abluftverfahren - gegebenenfalls auch saugend im Weißbereich - an
die DCD-3.0 angeschlossen werden. Zusätzlich können weitere Filter-Ventilatoren im
Umluftverfahren im Schwarzbereich installiert werden. Zur Projektierung der
jeweiligen Anlage kann Ihnen der Fachmann von HEYLO gerne Auskunft erteilen.

Falls die Abluftschläuche die Arbeiten im Schwarzbereich behindern, ist eventuell mit
Teleskopstangen eine Aufständerung zu erreichen.

6. Aufstellrichtlinien
Für die Aufstellung und Anwendung von DCD-3.0 und DCS sind die gesetzlichen
Vorschriften des jeweiligen Landes zu beachten. In Deutschland sind unter anderem
die folgenden Vorschriften zu beachten:

Unfallverhütungsvorschriften VBG 43
Gefahrstoffverordnung vom 01.01.2005
(erhältlich bei: Deutsches Informationszentrum für technische Regeln (DITR) im DIN,
Burggrafenstraße 6, 10787 Berlin).
HEYLO übernimmt keine Haftung für Schäden, die aus unsachgemäßer und
regelwidriger Aufstellung und Anwendung von DCD-3.0 und DCS entstehen
sollten.
Außerbetriebnahme und Entsorgung
HEYLO-Geräte sind für langjährigen Betrieb ausgelegt. Eine eventuelle Entsorgung hat
gemäß der aktuellen einschlägigen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen in umweltschonender
Weise zu erfolgen.

1. General information
The Dust Protection Door HEYLO DCD 3.0 is a piece of equipment for the trade and
serves the purpose of fast and safe partitioning of wall openings (doors, windows,
hatches) in the working area or area where dirt has collected as opposed to the white
area of the building. Other building parts can thus also be safely protected from dust
during renovation work with the DCD 3.0.
The DCD 3.0 can be used for door widths from 680 mm to 830 mm. Door widths of up
to 1430 mm can be partitioned off optionally using adapters that can be additionally
supplied.
The DCD-3.0 combined with filter ventilators and hoses is the Dust Protection
System DCS – for permanent pressurisation or suctioning off of dust. By connecting
HEYLO filter ventilators to the DCD 3.0 outside the work area, negative pressure is
created in the area to be renovated which prevents the distribution of fine dust in
adjacent rooms. As soon as the filter ventilators are installed in the working area at the
place where dust is formed, the dust suctioning function begins.
Easy to transport and quick to install, the Dust Protection System DCS saves time,
money and complications. Time consuming subsequent cleaning as is the case in
water supported systems is not necessary - just clean or knock off the dust and dirt
from the filters used.
Attention: In the case of contaminated air, H 13/H14 filters must be disposed of if used
(see Section on “Installation guidelines“).

4. Assembly
Use of the adapter
If the door to the area to be renovated is wider than 830 mm, the corresponding
extension adapters A, B, C or D are fitted on the DCD 3.0 depending on the door width.

Assembly DCD-3.0
If required the closing caps (E) should be removed before
assembly (removal is not possible after assembly of the
DCD!)
Hold the unit tight with the right hand on the holding grip (F) at
the back and with the left hand on the tightening knob (G).
The tightening lever (G) is then fitted at 90° to the unit. The
system has now been loosened and can be roughly adjusted
in the door. The side with the tightening lever points
towards the black are during this procedure.
The unit is fixed tightly into the door by tightening the
tightening knob (G).
The PVC sheets (H) supplied with the unit are now attached
in line with the door width to the DCD. The first PVC-sheet H
is now being fixed to the adhesive and pushed behind the
fastening clamps (J), then clamped tight using the knurled
screw (K). After this clamp the second sheet overlapping
roughly 20 cm, also behind the fastening clamps (J).
If necessary, both sheets (Length, 2 m) can be shortened with
a cutter.

Now – depending on the use (see Section 5) – one or two
hoses (Ø 203 mm) can be drawn through the openings of the
DCD.
There are now different possibilities of using the Dust
Protection System DCS. Depending on the use (see Section
5), filter ventilators can be installed and connected in the
white or black area. The DCS is now ready to operate.
Dust Protection System DCS
The DCD 3.0 is combined with filter ventilators, appropriate filters, hoses and hose
adapters to form a complete system “DCS “.
The following products are recommended as filter ventilators by HEYLO:

You can find additional accessories in Section 7. You can obtain detailed information
on the filter ventilators, required filters, hoses and hose adapters from the relevant
HEYLO information. Instructions on installation and use are in Section 5. Special
reference is made to Section 6 (Installation guidelines).

5. Uses

Fitted with sheets and closing caps, the DCD 3.0 is used to partition off wall openings.
DCD-3.0
Permanent pressurisation
A combination of one or two filter ventilators and a hose connection installed in close
proximity to the DCD 3.0, results in the Dust Protection System DCS for permanent
pressurisation in the suctioning process. The number and size of the filter ventilators
used is determined by the size of the black area to be partitioned off in each case. A
HEYLO expert can advise on project planning for the respective system if required.

Suctioning off particles from the black area
If dust is to be suctioned off at the place it is formed, the filter ventilator must be
installed at this spot in the black area and the cleaned exhaust air in the
pressurising process must be conducted through a hose through the DCD 3.0 into
the white area. At the same time, negative pressure is formed in the black area through
this installation preventing penetration of dust into the white area. In the case of larger
rooms or stronger accumulation of dust, up to 2 filter ventilators can be connected to
the DCD 3.0 in the exhaust air process, if necessary also suctioning in the white area.
Additional filter ventilators can also be installed in the circulating air process in the
black area. A HEYLO expert would be glad to advise you in project planning of the
respective system.

If the exhaust air hoses hinder work in the black area, they can possibly be mounted
using telescope rods.

6. Installation guidelines
The laws of the respective country must be observed for installation and use of the
DCD 3.0 and DCS. In Germany, the following regulations must be observed in
particular:

Hazardous Substances Ordinance dated 01.01.2005

HEYLO will not assume responsibility for damages arising out of inappropriate
installation and use of DCD 3.0 and DCS going against the regulations.
Shutting down and disposal
HEYLO devices are designed for many years of use. Disposal in the future must take
place in an environment friendly manner in accordance with the current and relevant
laws.
