4. Follow the instructions as noted.
5. Do Not Use this unit near water, unprotected from rain or
water ingress or in wet locations.
6. Clean only with a dry microbre cloth (supplied).
7. Do not block or obstruct any of the vents or openings ensure
air ow in line with installation section of Set Up Guide.
8. Do not operate the unit near heat sources (radiators, heaters)
9. Do not place the base of the unit on any heated surface even
when not connected.
10. Ensure that any power supply is connected to a suitable
plug and socket with a connected earth in line with UK/EU
regulations.
11. Ensure that any power supply leads connected to the unit are
not damaged, crushed or kinked.
12. Only connect 4Com approved attachments and accessories.
13. The unit is designed to be ‘powered up’ on stand by 24/7 but
may be disconnected and re-started as required by following
the start-up instructions.
14. DO NOT OPEN the unit – there are no serviceable parts
inside, the case is sealed and secured with security screws –
opening the unit will invalidate any manufacturers warranty
actual or implied.
15. Any performance issues – refer to user guide which contains
helpline contact numbers.
To reduce risk of electric shock, re etc.
DO NOT EXPOSE THIS UNIT TO RAIN OR MOISTURE.
Do not use where there may be a risk of water (or other liquids) being
splashed on the unit.
The unit contains a small clock back up battery this is not a
customer service item it can only be replaced by the manufacturer.
The unit should be connected to the power in such a way that the
mains socket can be accessible should the unit need to be isolated.
Do not use power supplies if they are or the connecting leads are
damaged.
Do not wipe the unit with a wet/damp cloth.
Do not use chemical cleaners or aerosol sprays on the unit.
Product Guidance
Ventilation: Please note this unit will become warm during use allow
adequate space around the unit (approx. 10cm) to allow circulation
of air;
Do not use in conned space or in a sealed cabinet.
Do not insert any object through any grill, slot or gap on the unit.
Locating the Unit: Refer to the Set Up Guide.
Do not place unit in direct sunlight as this will indirectly heat
the unit.
Do not locate close to heat source, the unit is designed to manage
the internally generated heat when placed and operated in ambient
temperatures within ‘normal’ variations.
Do not locate in areas that have excessive variation in heat, cold,
moisture, vibration, dust or magnetic elds.
Do not locate near electronic equipment that emits magnetic or
other radiation.
Do not over load the mains socket by adding multiple appliances to
the same socket.
Ensure that all connecting leads are routed correctly without
twisting etc. to minimise any interference.
Only use supplied or 4Com approved leads, connectors
or devices.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is
subject to two conditions; (1) this device may not cause harmful
interference and (2) this device must accept any interference
received including that which may cause undesired operation.
Getting Started
Your HiHi tablet can be powered through the USB port on the side or by placing it on a compatible base unit.
To start using your HiHi tablet, connect it to power or ensure the battery has been charged and press the power button on the top.
Once the tablet has started up, follow the on-screen set-up instructions.

For the safe operation of this unit it is important that you read and understand these instructions prior to connecting this unit to a mains supply
and that the start up and installation instructions supplied are followed. This will ensure that the unit will perform to its intended functionality.
This device only indoor use for the band 5150-5250MHz.

harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off
