Doorbell installation
Locate your fuse box and turn the power o.
Ring your doorbell to double check that the
power is o.

The Hipcam Doorbell works with an output of
12-24v. If in doubt on your power supply output,
please consult with a specialist.

Remove the front cover of your current
doorbell. Conrm the wires have an output
of 12-24v.
Disconnect the two wires connected to your
current doorbell ( A and B ) and x them to
the wall with a tape so they do not fall inside
the electrical conduit.

Remove the backplate from your Hipcam
Doorbell by pushing the pin provided in the
box into the hole located at the bottom of
the unit.

You might need to drill new holes on the
wall. You can do this by using the drill bit and
the plastic dowels included in the box.
Screw the backplate to the wall. You may
want to add the supplementary wall plate
between the wall and the backplate.

Locate your doorbell´s chime box. It should
look something like this:

Remove the cover of your chime box. The
connection should look something like this:

Connect the black and red wires provided in
the box to Hipcam Chime.
Insert one of the wires (the color is
indistinct) into hole 2 while pressing into
hole 1 with the pin provided in the box.
Insert the other wire into hole 4 while
pressing into hole 3 with the pin provided
in the box
Check both wires are tightly adjusted into the
holes by pulling them gently.

Disconnect the wire from the TRANS terminal
on the chime box and connect it to the FRONT
terminal (A).

to the TRANS terminal on the chime box (A).
Connect the other wire from HIPCAM Chime
to the wired terminal on the transformer that
connects with your doorway (B).

Connect the wire that comes from the trans-
former to your Hipcam Doorbell. Right or left is
indistinct (A)
Connect the wire that comes from the front
terminal in your chime box to your HIPCAM

Assemble Hipcam Doorbell to the backplate
screwed to the wall.
Go to your fuse box and turn the power on.
Hipcam Doorbell should turn on automatically.
If this does not happen, check the wire
connection on the chime box and that your
transformer has an output of 12-24v. Otherwise
you will need to upgrade the voltage of your
connection.
The Hipcam doorbell is now ready to pair with
your smartwatch. Read more about this on
page 10.

To install the Hipcam chime you can follow
the rst 7 steps of the installation with home
chime (pages 3 and 4).
Don’t forget to remove the power from the
doorbell!

transformer to your Hipcam Doorbell. Right
or left is indistinct (A).

terminal in your chime box to your Hipcam
Doorbell (B).

Assemble Hipcam Doorbell to the backplate
screwed to the wall.
Open Hipcam Chime (Press the chime´s body
a little bit to take out the lid). Connect the USB
port to Hipcam Plug.
Connect HIPCAM Plug to the socket on the wall.

Go to your Fuse box and turn the power on.
Hipcam Doorbell should turn on automatically.
If this does not happen, check the wire
connection on the chime box and that your
transformer has an output of 12-24v. Otherwise
you will need to upgrade the voltage of your
connection
The Hipcam doorbell is now ready to pair with
your smartwatch. Read more about this on
page 10.

Get started
Download and Install “Hipcam The Smart
Home Security Ecosystem” App on your
smartphone from Google Play or App Store.
Make sure the Hipcam camera is switched on.
Create a new Hipcam user:
Press “Sign Up”.
Insert your desired e-mail address and
password (your password must include
at least one symbol and be eight or more
characters long).
Conrm your password.
Press the “Create” button, you will then
receive a Hipcam activation link to your
e-mail account.
Open your email account in your smartphone.
Click on the activation link and it will take you
to the Hipcam App prole creation page.
Add your prefered Prole Photo (Optional).
Fill in your name details and press “Set
Prole”.
Click on “Generate QR Code”.
Select your prefered language and press next.
Insert your Wi-Fi password (must be a 2.4
Ghz frequency) and press “Conrm”. The QR
Code scanning animation tutorial will appear.
Click on “Ok” to continue.

Show your QR Code to your Hipcam Doorbell
as indicated by the photo below or by the
animation tutorial in the app.
You are now connected. Live video feed of
each of your cameras will be shown in your
“My Cameras” tab.
Customize the Hipcam user:
Click on the user icon in the
right corner of the screen.
Click on the arrow next to the prole to
change the photo and name. You can
also change the password under “Change
password”. At “About” you can read the
terms and conditions and privacy statement.

Watch live streaming
My Cameras: tap on one of the live pictures on
your “My Cameras” ap and you will be sent to
your chosen Hipcam camera live streaming.
Shared cameras: tap on one of the live
pictures on your “Shared” ap and you will
be sent to your chosen shared Hipcam
camera live streaming.

Press the Smart Area button on the screen.
Select your desired Area by dragging the
anchor points on the screen.
Press the save button.
Smart detections will be made just on the
selected area.

Press the Call button on the screen to make a
two-way audio call to your Hipcam Camera.
Keep the Microphone button pressed to talk
and release to listen.
Press the Cancel button (X) to end up call.

At Systems you will see the latest rmware up-
dates. To make the update successful, restart
the camera.

camera with. Choose the contact in the appli-
cation and send the sharing link.

Hipcam Protect
Hipcam oers multiple protect plans. These plans
can be found on the ocial Hipcam website.
Go to www.hipcam.com or scan the QR code:
Go to the main menu of your Hipcam camera
and click on Create clip.
Give the clip a name.
Select the date, time and duration of the clip.
Turns the date listing on / o.
Click Ok to make the clip or Cancel to cancel the
video.

and click on Create timelapse.
Give the clip a name and select the date, time
and duration of the clip.
