Always follow all warnings and instructions marked on the television.
1. A note about safety and operating instructions
Read and follow all safety and operating instructions, and retain them safely for future reference.
2. Heed Warnings
Adhere to all warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions.
3. Cleaning
Unplug the TV from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid, abrasive, or aerosol cleaners. Cleaners
can permanently damage the cabinet and screen. Use a lightly dampened cloth for cleaning.
4. Wall Mount Bracket
Wall mount bracket is only available for some models. If wall bracket is not supplied with this product, you can
buy it at the local market.
Please refer to the Installing the Wall Mount Bracket page of Quick Setup Guide for dimensions.
5. Water and Moisture
Avoid dripping or splashing of liquids onto the product. Objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should not be
placed on the product.
6. Setting
Do not place this TV on an unstable cart, stand or table. Placing the TV on an unstable base can cause the
TV to fall, resulting in serious personal injuries as well as damage to the TV. Use only a cart, stand, bracket or
table recommended by the manufacturer or salesperson.
7. Ventilation
Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the TV and to
protect it from overheating. Do not cover the ventilation openings in the cabinet and never place the set in a
confined space such as built-in cabinet unless proper ventilation is provided. Leave a minimum 10cm gap all
around the unit.
8. Power Source
This TV should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not
sure of the type of power supplied to your home, consult your appliance dealer or local power company.
9. Power-Cord Protection
Power- supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed
upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plug, wall outlets, and the point where they exit
from the TV. MAIN plug on the power cord is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device and socket-
outlet shall be easily accessible.
10. Lightning
For added protection for this TV during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long
periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent
damage to the TV due to lightning or power-line surge.

11. Power Lines
An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines or other electric light
or power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits. Where installing an outside antenna
system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits as contact with them
might be fatal.
12. Overloading
Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
13. Object and Liquid Entry
Never push objects of any kind into this TV through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or
short-out parts that could result in fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on or into the TV.
14. Outdoor Antenna Grounding
If an outside antenna or cable system is connected to the TV, be sure the antenna or cable system is
grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges and built-up static charges.
15. Servicing
Do not attempt to service this TV yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous
voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
16. Damage Requiring Service
Unplug the TV from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following
conditions:
(a) When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.
(b) If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the TV.
(c) If the TV has been exposed to rain or water.
(d) If the TV does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that
are covered by the operating instructions as an improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage
and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the TV to its normal operation.
(e) If the TV has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.
(f) When the TV exhibits a distinct change in performance - this indicates a need for service.
17. Replacement Parts
When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has used replacement parts specified by
the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result
in fire, electric shock or other hazards.
18. Safety Check
Upon completion of any service or repair to the TV, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to
determine that the TV is in safe operating condition.
19. Heat
The product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
products (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
20. Fire
The product should be situated away from naked flame sources such as lighted candle.
21. Off-gassing
The TV smells of plastic is normal and will dissipate over time.

First-Time Use
Home Screen
All TV functions can be accessed from the Home screen.
Display the Home Screen
Press button on your remote control to enter the Home screen.
To exit the Home screen, use your remote control or use the navigation buttons on the screen to move the
cursor to other icons, press button to enter and select your desired service.
Connecting to the Internet
To get access to the Internet using a wired connection or connecting to an available wireless network.
Connect to a Wired (Ethernet) Network
To get access to the Internet using a wired connection, it is recommended to use a modem or router that
supports Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). Modems and routers that support DHCP automatically
provide the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS, so you do not have to enter them manually. Most
home networks already have DHCP.
See the illustration below.
After connecting to a wired (Ethernet) network:
Press button on your remote control to select Settings > Network and Internet.
Go to ETHERNET section, and set the TV network by pressing button to enter the submenu.

Show whether the Ethernet is connected.
•Proxy settings
You can set the proxy server.
•IP settings
Configure the IP setting for your network connection.

First-Time Use
Connect to a Wireless Network
To connect to an available wireless network, make sure that you turn on your wireless router and have the
wireless router's SSID and password before attempting to connect.
To get access to the Internet using a wireless connection:
Press button on your remote control to select Settings > Network and Internet > Wi-Fi.
To get access to the Internet in a wireless way:
1. Turn on your Wi-Fi.
2. The list of networks will display automatically.
3. Select a wireless network from the list, and input the password.
4. If the network connection does not appear in the list, select See all to display all the list, or select Add new
network to input a wireless network name, select the type of security mode, and enter password.

Channel Scan
You can scan for channels automatically or manually.
Note:
Antenna/cable function may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions.
Auto Channel Scan
Automatically scan for channels to view programmes from your TV source.

If no TV channels were saved before, you will be prompted to do a channel search.
In Live TV, / > Channels > Auto Scan
Before you select Auto Scan, you can press / > Channels > Tuner Mode to select Antenna or Cable.
Manual Scan
Manually scan for channels for DTV or ATV.
In Live TV, / > Channels > Advanced Settings > DTV Manual Scan/ATV Manual Scan
Live Menu
You can obtain quick access to the channel list, favorite channel list or use relevant features with ease when
watching TV programmes.

Manage the Channels
In Live TV, press > to select a Live TV channel category such as Antenna or Cable, then use D-pad
to select Edit.
• Delete:
1. Select the channel you want to delete, or press to select more channels.
2. Press button to delete.
• Restore:
1. Press [RED] button or press button to display the colour menu and select RED to enter the list
of deleted channels.
2. Press button to restore the deleted channel you choose.
Edit Favourite Channel List
Before you can edit the favourite list, Channel Scan must be completed first.
Add a channel to a favourite list
You can add channels from various reception types to the favourite list.
1. In Live TV, press button to display the channel list.
2. Press / button, select the channel(s) you want to add to the favourite list by pressing button.
3. Press button to select a favourite list.
4. press button to confirm.
5. Then, a heart-shape icon will appear next to the added channel.

Move or remove channels in a favourite list
If you want to remove favourite channels:
1. In Live TV, press > > to select FAV, choose a favourite list and press button.
2. Press / , select the channel(s) you want to delete to the favourite list by pressing button.
3. Press button to select Delete Fav. Channel, and then press button to confirm.
4. Then a heart-shaped icon will disappear on FAV list.

• Before you edit the favourite lists,complete channel scan first.

Guide(EPG)
The Guide (EPG) provides a convenient way to check TV programmes for the upcoming 8 days. The
information displayed by the Guide (EPG) is made available by the commercial television networks for digital

channels only. The Guide (EPG) also provides a simple way to record your favourite programmes and a
reminder function, which can switch channels automatically at scheduled times, so that you will not miss
programmes of interest. The availability and amount of programme information will vary depending on the
broadcaster.
Note:
• The Guide (EPG) function is only available for digital channels. Analogue channels are not supported.
Launch the Guide
In Live TV, press / > Guide (EPG) to display programme guide.
Learn about the Guide menu
•Watch
In Guide (EPG), when a current programme is selected, press > Watch to switch to the channel you
want to see.
•PVR/Reminder
In Guide (EPG), press / button to select the channels. Press / button to select programme
based on the time schedule.
Press button to select PVR or Reminder.
Note:
• The PVR function may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions.
•Scheduled
In Guide (EPG), press [RED] button or press button to display the colour menu and select
RED. This will display a list of scheduled reminders and recordings.
•Detail
In Guide (EPG), press [GREEN] button or press button to display the colour menu and select
GREEN. Details of the selected programme will be displayed.
Note:
• This function may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions.
•24h−
In Guide (EPG), press [YELLOW] button or press button to display the colour menu and
select YELLOW to select programmes of the previous day.
•24h+
In Guide (EPG), press [BLUE] button or press button to display the colour menu and select
BLUE to select programmes of the next day.
PVR
The PVR function allows you to easily record digital television content for later viewing. The function is only
available for digital channels. To use PVR, you must connect a storage device for recording. The format of
the storage disk should be NTFS, FAT32. The PVR will not function if a data storage device has not been
connected.

Read before recording programmes
Note:
• To use PVR, you must connect a storage device for recording. PVR will not function if a data storage
device has not been connected.
• The format of the storage device can be NTFS or FAT32. The storage space of your device should be no
less than 2GB (for 15 minutes high-definition video). It is strongly recommended to use a USB mobile hard
disk drive instead of a USB flash drive as the storage device.
• If the transfer rate of your hard disk is too slow, a pop-up notice will be displayed. In this case, you will
need to use another disk with higher speed.
• Some broadcasters may restrict to record the programme.
• During the recording progress, channels locked with Channel Lock (password needed) are disabled to
watch.
• Some channel-related configuration may conflict with background recording. In this case, a reminding
window will pop up.
• The listed functions may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions.
• PVR function is only available for digital channels. Analogue channels are not supported.
Schedule Recording
In Live TV, press / > Guide(EPG).
In Guide(EPG), select the upcoming programme, press button to select PVR and set the appointment time
and period. In Guide (EPG), press the [RED] button or press button to display the colour menu
and select RED to view the scheduled recording. In schedule recording list, you can readjust the reservation
information that has been set.
Instant Recording
In Live TV, press / > PVR.
Select a USB storage device. The device speed will be tested if it is used for the first time.
You can manually stop recording or choose to automatically match the programme time.
Standby Recording
If you press the power button during recording and select Standby Recording, your TV will go into standby
mode but the recording process is still going on. If you press power button again to wake up the TV, the
recording process will not be affected. After recording, the recorded file will be automatically saved to the disk.
Background Recording
When you switch to an App or another source (e.g. HDMI) during recording, the recording process will
continue. When the recording has completed, the recorded programme will be automatically saved to the
attached USB disk. If you want to manually stop recording, press / button on your remote
control and select TV to switch back to the channel that is currently being recorded.

Access recording list
In Live TV, press / button on your remote control and select Recording List.
Watch recorded programmes
In Live TV, press / button on your remote control and select Recording List > Recorded.
Select a recorded programme in the recording list and press button to watch it.
Manage recording list
In Live TV, press / button on your remote control and select Recording List > Recorded.
You can delete recorded programmes.
•Delete recorded programme
Select Edit, select a recorded programme in the recording list and press button to delete it.
Manage schedule recording list
In Live TV, press / button on your remote control and select Recording List > Scheduled.
You can adjust the schedule recording information or cancel scheduled recordings. Schedule recording items
are identified with icons.
•Delete scheduled recording
Select Edit, select a scheduled recording in the schedule list and press button to delete it.
•Edit scheduled recording
Select scheduled recording in the schedule list, then press button to edit.
Note:
• The Recording List function may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions.
Timeshift
This option allows you to pause and rewind Live TV. This function operates by recording temporarily to
a storage device. Please ensure your storage device is connected and there is enough free disk space,
otherwise timeshift will not function.
In Live TV, press / button on your remote control and select Timeshift, then the playback bar will
appear.
Note:
• The Timeshift function does not support analogue channels.
• The storage space of the device should be no less than 2GB. It is strongly recommended to use a USB
mobile hard disk drive instead of a USB flash drive as the storage device.
• The Timeshift function may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions.

Using a Google Account
Sign in with Google to get apps, Google Assistant, and personalized recommendations.
Signing into an account
When you turn on the TV for the first time, you can select Set up Google TV to sign into a Google Account
by the setup guide, if you select Set up basic TV, you can also set it later by pressing to select Set up
Google TV.
• Set up with the Google Home app
• Set up on TV instead
Before signing into your Google account, make sure your TV is connected to the network. For more about
network settings, please refer to Connect to the Internet > Connect to a Wired (Ethernet) Network or Connect
to a Wireless Network in this manual, after the network is connected, enter your E-mail/phone and password,
select Sign In.
Adding a kid account
You can create a personalized space for your kid with access to content they love and tools to help keep you
in control.
1. After the network is connected, > Settings > Accounts and sign-in > Add a kid(or Add a child)
2. Set up Google TV for a kid in your family, you can do the same for more kids later.
Adding another account
You can use other accounts within Google apps like YouTube, but you won't see recommendations for those
accounts on the Google TV home screen.
Before creating a new account, make sure your TV is connected to the network. For more about network
settings, please refer to Connect to the Internet > Connect to a Wired (Ethernet) Network or Connect to a
Wireless Network in this manual.
1. After the network is connected, > Settings > Accounts and sign-in > Add another account
2. Enter E-mail/phone and password.
3. Press .
Using Voice Control
Set up voice assistant to control your TV just by your voice.
Google Voice Setup
Voice Control may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions.
Google Assistant
You can ask for information, search for your favourite movies, control your TV and more, just by asking
Google Assistant.
Before setting up Google Assistant, connect your TV to the network.

How to start Google Assistant
You can choose this way to start Google Assistant:

Hands-free Voice Control
Google Assistant can answer your questions or help you change TV configuration.
Before using this function, connect the TV to the Internet and sign in your Google account, by pressing ,
select Settings > Accounts and sign-in
Note:
• Hands-free Voice Control may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions.
How to set up Hands-free Voice Control
1. Switch the control button on the bottom of the TV to to turn on the microphone.(If there's no indication
mark, switch the control button to the left to turn on it. The function may change due to product upgrade.)
2. Pair the remote first, press button to select "Yes, I'm in".
3. Start a conversation by saying "Hey Google", and the dialog bar appears at the top of the TV screen. At the
same time, indicator lights illuminate(if it has the indicator).
4. Continue speaking, such as "What's the weather" or "volume up".
Screenless mode
> Settings > System > Advanced System > Screenless Mode
Talk to Google Assistant when the screen is off.
In Screenless Mode, Google Assistant is always available to help even when the screen is not on. Just say
"Hey Google".
This feature will affect standby power consumption.
Note:
• Google Assistant and some features are available on limited country/region/language.
• Screenless mode is only for models with far-field Google Assistant.
Alexa Setup
Set up to control your TV with any Alexa-enabled devices. Alexa can help you change the TV configuration.
Using just your voice, you can change inputs, volume, channels, and more. Just ask Alexa.
What is required to control your TV with Amazon Alexa?
• Android TV models that support the Alexa skill.
• Amazon Echo device or Alexa App.
• Amazon account for Alexa App or Echo device, if you don't have the account, please create one before the
setup process.

• Sign in your TV account, you can create it before the setup process or in the period.
• Home network with Wi-Fi capabilities.
• For issues of accessing your Amazon account and using the Alexa app during setup, please visit
amazon.com for help.
How to set up Alexa
1. Press , select Settings > System > Advanced System > Amazon Alexa Service
2. Select Set up now.
3. Link the TV to your account. Scan the QR code with your phone, or visit the website on your phone or
computer, sign in your account, and enter the code showed on the TV. The webpage and code will be
expired after 15 minutes.
4. Next, your TV screen shows a list of TV name. Select one from it or enter a custom name. Then, your TV
will appear in the device name list on your phone or computer.
5. Download the Alexa app on your smart phone. Open the app and sign in with your Amazon account.
6. In the Alexa app, select Skills section, search and enable Smart TV skill. Follow the instructions to link your
Amazon account by entering the same account that you've signed on your TV.
7. On your TV, select Skill enabled and Done.
8. Now, You can ask Alexa try some functions available for TV.
Note:
• Use external Alexa-enabled devices (e.g. Alexa App, Echo) to control your smart TV by using just your
voice.
• After your TV account is created but you can't see the Link your TV step on your phone or computer,
please sign out account and re-visit URL and sign in again.
• If you do not see "Amazon Alexa Service" in the System settings, then your TV does not support Alexa.
• The Alexa function may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions.
• The setup steps above may vary depending on actual products.
Voice Service Other Issues
If you want to turn on your TV with Alexa-enabled devices (e.g. Echo, Echo show) or Google Home devices
(e.g. Google Home, Google Nest Hub), please:
1. Turn on Screenless Mode at > Settings > System > Advanced System
2. Make sure your TV and Alexa-enabled devices/Google Home devices are connected to the same network
environment.
Note:
• Only Alexa (Alexa skill is enabled) and Google Smart Home Service support turning on your TV with Alexa
Echo or Google Home.
• This function may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions.
