DASHBOARD
ABS fault
TheAnti-lock Brake System (ABS) warning lamp u illuminates for a
short time when the ignition is switched on to verify that no monitored
ABS defects are present and to check that the lamp is working.
If the uwarning lamp and the ABS Fault animation does not
extinguish or illuminates when driving, it indicates a malfunction with
the ABS. Contact your Holden Dealer as soon as possible.
NoteThevehicle’sbrake systemwill stilloperateconventionallywiththe
anti-lock operation disabled. Refer to Anti-lock brake system chapter 4.
The ABS Fault animation is displayed until the TRIP button or the
ENTER switch are pressed.
The u warning lamp remains illuminated until the problem has been rectied.
Brake fail and park brake warning
The brake fail/park brake warning lamp R illuminates for a short
time when the ignition is switched on to verify that no monitored
brake defects are present and to check that the lamp is working.
If the Rwarning lamp and the Brake animation
does not extinguish or illuminates when
driving and the park brake is released, it
indicates a fault with the brakes. Carefully stop
the vehicle on the side of the road immediately.
Do not proceed until satised that braking is
possible or that the cause of the problem has
been rectied.
Note The Brake animation also indicates low
brake uid. Check the brake uid level. Refer to
Under bonnet checks in chapter 7.
The Brake animation is displayed until the TRIP button or the ENTER switch are pressed.
The R warning lamp remains illuminated until the problem has been rectied.
If the Park brake animation (see above) illuminates and a chime sounds when driving,
it indicates that the park brake is still applied. Release the park brake.
Park aid assist fault3
If the Parking Aid Assist Fault animation
illuminates when driving, it indicates a fault in the
Park Assist system. Contact your Holden Dealer.
The Parking Aid Assist Fault animation is
displayed until the TRIP button or the ENTER
switch are pressed. It then reverts to the original
trip computer display.
Park Fail appears at the bottom of the display
and remains illuminated until the problem has
been rectied.
Note If the Parking Aid Assist Fault animation illuminates when driving, it indicates
a fault in the Park Assist system. The Park Assist may not work properly during
malfunction and you should manoeuvre the vehicle with special care. Check the
sensors and clean them if necessary. If the malfunction persists, have the system
checked by your Holden Dealer.
