EXTERIOR LIGHTS
Light switch

9Headlights and parking lights.
0Press the switch to turn on the interior
light. Press the switch again to turn off
the light.
kTurn the thumb-wheel to adjust the
brightness of the instrument lights.
High / low beam
With headlights switched on, push the
lever away from you and release it. The
headlights change from low to high beam.
Pull the lever back towards the steering
wheel to return to low beam.
When high beam is in use, a light on the
instrument panel illuminates.
Itisalsopossibletoflashthehighbeamfor
signalling purposes by pulling the lever
towards you (even with the headlights
turnedoff). The lightsremain in highbeam
as long as the lever is held in this position.
Leavingthe headlights onwithout the enginerunning willeventually flatten thebattery.
A warning chime will remind you to switch off the headlights when leaving the vehicle.
Headlight range adjustment
The headlight range may be adjusted to
suit the current load in the vehicle by
selecting 0, 1, 2 or 3 when the headlights
are on.
Correct adjustment of the headlight range
reduces dazzle for other road users.
0 Front seats occupied.
1 All seats occupied.
2 All seats occupied and load in the
luggage compartment.
3 Driver's seat occupied and load in the
luggage compartment.
