1 . Read all instructions before using this appliance.

10. Do NOT operate the appliance if it malfunctions, or if it is dropped or

11. This appliance has NO user-serviceable parts. Do NOT attempt to
examine or repair this appliance yourself. ONLY qualied and approved
service personnel should perform servicing.
12. This appliance is intended for HOUSEHOLD and INTERIOR USE ONLY
and cannot be used for any other purpose. This item is NOT a toy.
13. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and pets. This appliance
is NOT intended to be used by children and strict supervision is
necessary when used near children.
14. Do NOT leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
15. Do NOT use any attachments or accessories that are not recommended
or sold and approved by the manufacturer for this appliance.
16. Always operate the appliance on a dry, at, stable, heat-resistant
surface to avoid accidents.
17. Do NOT move the appliance while it is in use. Always let it cool before
moving.

19. Use an oven mitt when operating the appliance for safety.

WARNING: During the rst few minutes of initial use, you may notice
a little smoke and/or a slight odor. This is normal and should quickly
disappear. It will not recur after appliance has been used a few times.

• EXTENSION CORDS
A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer
detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may
be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply
cord or extension cord is used:
1 . The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2 . The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled
on unintentionally by children or the user.

• POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized
outlet only one way. If plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not t contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.
HOW TO OPERATE
BEFORE FIRST USE:
1 . Unpack the appliance and all parts. Remove all packaging materials,
including any stickers or labels.
2 . Read these instructions carefully.
3 . Clean the interior surface of the appliance with a damp cloth. Wipe
dry with a soft cloth immediately. Do not use abrasive materials. Wipe
down the exterior with a soft dry cloth.
4 . NEVER IMMERSE APPLIANCE OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
5 . Position the appliance on a stable, dry, level, heat-resistant surface near
an electrical outlet.
6 . Unroll the electrical cord.
7 . Operate this appliance on a separate outlet and circuit from other
appliances to avoid overloading the circuit.

CAUTION: The surfaces of the appliance get hot. To avoid accidental
burns, scalping, or steam being released while cooking, always open
and close the lid by using an oven mitt.
FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
USING THE APPLIANCE:
1 . This appliance is intended ONLY for household use.
2 . Prepare the recipe ingredients by following the recipe instructions.
3 . Lift the lid to the open position.
4 . Coat the non-stick surface with a small amount of vegetable oil. This
can be done with a paper towel or with a non-stick cooking oil spray.
Wipe o any excess oil. It is recommended to periodically do this before
use to maintain the quality of the non-stick coating.
5 . Check and conrm the voltage of the appliance is the same as the
outlets. Then, plug in the electrical cord carefully into a separate outlet
from other appliances to prevent the circuit from being overloaded.
6 . Close the appliance after plugging in, and allow it to pre-heat.
7 . Preselect the thermostat to desired temperature.
8 . The red indicator lights will turn on as soon as you connect the
appliance. The green indicator light will turn on when the appliance
reaches the maximum operating temperature. The red light will stay on
while item is in used. Note: the green indicator light will turn on and o;
it does not reect cooking completion only temperature cycles from
minimum to maximum.

9 . Open the lid after pre-heating carefully with an oven mitt.
10. Pour in the recipe mixture/food into the bottom cooking plate; make
sure not to overll with ingredients to guarantee even cooking.
11. Close the lid and let cook until recipe is fully cooked.
12. After the food is ready, carefully remove it by using an oven mitt and
a heat resistant wood or plastic spatula. Do NOT use metal utensils
because they will scratch and damage the non-stick coated surface.
13. If cooking more than one batch in a session, after removing the rst
batch, close the appliance to maintain the heat. NOTE: Do NOT leave
appliance running without recipe mixture/food for more than 2 minutes.
Do NOT use continuously for more than 30 minutes.
14. As soon as you are nished cooking, unplug the appliance and allow it
cool down.
CLEANING
Proper maintenance will ensure years of use of your appliance.
This appliance contains no user serviceable parts and requires little
maintenance. Clean the appliance after every use following these steps.
WARNING: The surfaces of the item will get very hot during use,
unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning.

• Clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the appliance with a damp
cloth or sponge. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
• To remove food residue baked onto the cooking surface, pour a small
amount of cooking oil onto the hardened residue. After 5 minutes,
carefully wipe with a paper towel or dry cloth.
• NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANSERS OR SCOURING PADS TO CLEAN THE
APPLIANCE , AS THOSE MAY DAMAGE THE SURFACES.
CAUTION:
DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE, THE POWER CORD OR
THE PLUG INTO WATER OR ANY LIQUIDS.
STORAGE
1 . After following the steps for cleaning and maintenance, collect the
power cord.
2 . Store the appliance in a dry and clean place.

STEPS
1. Prepare the recipe mixture/food.
2. Plug in the appliance, and pre-heat as previously instructed by selecting
the desired temperature with the thermostat.
3. Use non-stick spray. Pour the recipe mixture/food into the bottom plate.
4. Close the lid and allow to cook.
5. Remove the food with a wooden, heat resistant plastic, or silicone spatula.
6. Repeat steps 1-6, for subsequent batches.

conditions, and the quantity used among other variables. Please note that
the serving size varies per recipe.

• Season and marinate the chicken (ideally the day before and
refrigerate)
• Season the potatoes right after you slice them
• Place the chicken breasts on the griddle and cook according to
instructions
• Once chicken is half way done, place potatoes on the side and
cook fully
• Serve warm and top the potatoes with the Parmesan cheese
• 2 skinless chicken breasts

Veggie, Turkey and Cheese
Sandwich
• Sliced Zucchini
• Sliced tomatoes
• 4 slices of whole grain bread
• 8 slices of turkey
• 4 slices of Cheddar cheese
• Dijon mustard
Ingredients:
Steps:
• Build the sandwich by placing 2 slices of cheese and 4 of turkey on each
side. Then top with the veggies and spread the mustard on the opposite
slice of bread
• Place the sandwich on the griddle and cook according to instructions
• Serve with a fresh salad

Seared Filet with Spinach
• In a low heat sauce pan, mix the heavy cream with crumbled blue
cheese
• Quickly cook the spinach on the griddle and then add to the creamy
mixture
• Season the let well and place on the griddle following instructions
• Once ready, let the let rest for a few minutes and then serve alongside
the creamy spinach
• 2 6OZ Filet Mignon or lean steak

Three Cheese Sandwich
with Tomato Soup
• Build the sandwich by adding all of the cheeses and buttering both
sides of the bread
• Place the sandwich on the griddle and cook following instructions
• Once ready, slice in half and serve with warm tomato soup
• 1 bowl of Tomato Soup
• 2 slices of Gruyere
• 2 slices of Cheddar
• 1 slice of Provolone
• 2 slices of French bread
