Batteries are not permitted to be disposed of
with household waste. Every consumer is legally

With the Wireless digital door chime, wireless
transmission of a signal can take place from the
transmitter to the receiver. After receiving the
signal, the receiver will emit a visual and/or acou-
stic signal. The transmission of the signal takes
place in the form of radio waves. “Visual contact”
between the transmitter and the receiver is there-
fore not necessary.

• Neverexposebatteriestoexcessiveheat,suchas
from sunshine, radiators or similar. Increased risk of
leakage!
• Ifthisisnotobservedbatteriescanbedischarged
beyondtheirmaximumvoltageandleak!Immedi-
ately remove batteries, in order to avoid damage.
• Avoidcontactwithskin,eyesandmucous
membranes.
In case of contact with battery acid, immediately
rinse the affected area with plenty of clean water
and contact a doctor immediately.
• Alwaysreplaceallbatteriesatthesametime.
• Onlyusebatteriesofthesametype,donotuse
different types or used and new batteries together.
• Incaseoflongerdisuse,removethebatteriesfrom
the device.

General instructions
1. Read through these instructions carefully before
using the device.
2. Keep this instructions manual.
3. The device is exclusively designed for private use.
4. Keep packaging material (e.g. film bag) out of
reach of children.
Instructions for use
1. Onlythefunctionsdescribedintheseoperating
instructions may be carried out with the doorbell.
2. Prior to initial use, please read through these
operating instructions carefully and pay particular
attention to the safety instructions.
3. Do not allow children to handle the device
unsupervised.

Improper use (e.g. short-circuiting the battery) can
resultinfirehazardorbatteryexplosionhazard!
4. The receiver (5) must not come into contact with
dripping or spray water/other liquids.
5. Although the transmitter (1) is weatherproof,
ensure that it is not situated in a location, where it
could be exposed to rain and direct sunlight.
6. Heat and cold impair the service life of the
batteries.
7. Do not carry out any changes to the device.
Repairs should exclusively take place by qualified,
specialist personnel. If necessary, contact our
service centre, see warranty (Page 25-27).
8. Do not operate the device, if aerosol (spray)
products are used.

Insert the battery in the transmitter (1)
1. Remove the lid of the battery compartment (2), by
pulling of the tabs (17).
2. Insertthebatterysize3LR50intothebattery
compartment. Please pay attention to the polarity:
Press the minus pole of the battery against the
spring and then push the battery in.
Programme radio channel
1. Press the New Code button (18) into the
transmitter (in the battery compartment).
2. At the same time, push the learn button (8) and
the bell button (4).

Insert batteries in the receiver (5)
1. Pull the lid of the battery compartment (11)
downward.
2. InserttwobatteriessizeAA,LR6inthebattery
compartment. Pay attention to the correct polarity:
Press the minus pole of the battery against the
spring and then push the battery in.
3. Close the battery compartment with the lid.

Startup and installation
− The receiver confirms reception by emitting a
signal. Depending on the position of the selection
switch (9), a light signal (6), a light signal (6) and
an acoustic signal (12), or only an acoustic signal
(12).
3. If you do not intend to permanently install the
transmitter, close the battery compartment with
the lid (14).
NOTE:
If you should determine that the Wireless digital
door chime is not functioning normally, e.g. if the
red light permanently illuminates, the bell tone
is continuously repeated or the device does not
respond when pushing the bell button, remove
the batteries from the device for a while and
then insert them again. It is recommended that
you programme a new code prior to starting up
again.
Select signal
1. Slide the selection switch (9) of the receivers to
position:
if you only intend to see a light signal;
if you intend to see a light signal and simulta-
neously intend to hear an acoustic signal;
if you only intend to hear an acoustic signal.
Selection of the bell tone
In order to select one of the 16 bell tones, push
the selection button (7) , until you have reach
the desired tone.
Setting the volume of the acoustic
signal
1. Slide the selection switch for the signal volume
(10) of the receivers to position 1 for quiet, to
position 2 for medium and to position 3 for loud.

Please note:
• Ifthesignalofthereceiverbecomestooquiet/too
weak, replace the batteries in the receiver.
• IftheLEDfunctioncontrol(3)ofthetransmitter
does not illuminate at all, or only weakly, when
pushing the button, replace the batteries in the
transmitter.
Installation of receiver and transmitter
You can use transmitter (1) and receiver (5) in a
mobile form or permanently install each/both.
If you use the Wireless digital door chime in a
mobile form (e.g. as a call signal within a home),
you can push the base (13) onto the receiver, in
order to be able to stand it up better.
Permanent installation
CAUTION:
Ensure that with the permanent installation of the
receiver in the home, no electric cables, gas or

water pipes are laid under the plaster at the
installation site. When drilling the holes, the risk
exists of an electric shock or damage to the pipes.
Before permanently installing the transmitter and
receiver, check whether the receiver can receive
the signal of the transmitter in its future position.
For this, the transmitter should also be situated in
its future position.
Please note:
• Thetransmissionrange(100munderoptimum
conditions);
• Thatthetransmissionrangecanbeinfluencedby
the existence of walls, electrical lines or similar.
• Donotinstallonmetalitems,e.g.metalcabinets,
metal doors. These can shield the signal.
• Strongradiowavescanalsodisruptthesignal
transmission.

NOTE:
For permanent installation of the device, skilled
handling of tools is necessary. If necessary, please
contact an electrical engineer, if you have no tools
orarenotexperiencedinhandlingtools!
Installation of the receiver
For installation on plaster or brickwork:
1. Drill 30 mm deep (ø 5 mm) with an impact drill;
2. Insert wall plugs (S5) in the drill hole;
3. Turn in a suitable screw (head diameter not larger
than 7 mm), such that the head protrudes approx.
5 mm.
4. Suspend receiver.
For installation on wood or similar:
1. Drill approx. 0.5 mm (ø 2 mm) deep using a drill.
2. Turn in a suitable screw (head diameter not larger
than 7 mm), such that the head protrudes approx.
5 mm.

Installation of the transmitter
NOTE:
The wall bracket for the transmitter (14) should
be attached to the wall without a gap, because
water could otherwise penetrate the housing and
damage the electronic parts.
Thetransmittershouldalwaysbeinstalledhorizon-
tally. You can label the transmitter with a name.
The name field (3) is covered with a film. The film
can be removed in the area of the LED function
control (4) (press in with fingernail).
For installation on plaster or brickwork:
1. Maketwohorizontalmarksatadistanceof65mm.

4. With suitable screws (countersunk screws, head
diameter max. 7 mm) fasten the wall bracket for
the transmitter (14).
NOTE:
Note the position of the rubber seal (16) when
attaching the transmitter. In order to achieve a bet-
ter seal on the battery compartment, the rubber
seal can be painted with some silicone lubricant.
5. Push the transmitter onto the wall bracket.
For installation on wood or similar:
1. Maketwohorizontalmarksatadistanceof65mm.
2. Drill approx. 5 mm deep (ø 2 mm) with an impact
drill;
3. With suitable screws (countersunk screws, head
diameter max. 7 mm) fasten the wall bracket for
the transmitter (14).
NOTE:
Note the position of the rubber seal (16) when
attaching the transmitter. In order to achieve a

better seal on the battery compartment, the rub-
ber seal can be painted with some silicone lubri-
cant.
4. Push the transmitter onto the wall bracket.
Problem solving
Receiver does not respond to transmitter:
• Carryoutprogramming,seeunderProgramme
radio channel.
• Checkthebatteries.
• Transmitterandreceiveraretoofarapartfromone
another.
• Thesignaltransmissionisbeinghindered.Change
the position of the transmitter/receiver.
The right light is permanently illuminated:
• Checkwhetherthebellbuttonisstuck.
• Brieflyremovethebatteriesfromthedeviceand
carry out reprogramming.

The bell tone is continuously repeated:
• Checkwhetherthebellbuttonisstuck.
• Brieflyremovethebatteriesfromthedeviceand
carry out reprogramming.
Cleaning
• Cleanthetransmitterandreceiverwithaslightly
damp cloth and carefully dry off all damp residues.
• Donotuseanyabrasiveorcorrosivedetergentfor
cleaningthetransmitterorreceiver.Otherwisethe
surface could be damaged or the electronic
components could corrode.
Problem solving
• IfyoushouldnotuseyourWirelessdigitaldoor
chime for a long period of time, please remove the
batteries from the transmitter and from the recei-
ver, in order to prevent battery leakage.
• Keepthedeviceinitsboxorinaclean,dry
location, out of reach of children.

The appliance has been manufactured with
the greatest care.
The warranty period is three years from the
date of purchase. Please retain the sales receipt
as proof of purchase as without it the warranty
claim cannot be processed.
During the warranty period, the sales receipt
and the completed warranty card with a descrip-
tion of the fault must be returned once you have
contacted the service centre by phone. A new
appliance will be returned.
This warranty is in addition to your statutory
rights. Your statutory rights are not affected.
We declare that this product conforms to the basic
requirements and other relevant regulations of the
Directive 1999/5/EC.

caused by accident, improper use, abuse and
force majeure.
