Important safety instructions
When using your stand mixer, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
1 Read all the instructions carefully, and keep them in a safe place.
2 This product has not been designed for any uses other than those specified
in this manual.
3 Before connecting the stand mixer, check if the voltage indicated on the
appliance corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. If this is not the
case, contact your dealer, and do not use the appliance.
4 Do not operate the stand mixer with a damaged cord or if it has been
dropped or damaged.
5 Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces. Let the stand mixer cool
completely before storing it.
6 Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
7 Never pull on the cord, as this may damage it and eventually cause a risk of
electric shock.
8 If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only be replaced
by a service agent appointed by the manufacturer, as special purpose tools
are required.
9 To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage
appliance on the same circuit.
10 If it is absolutely necessary to use an extension cord, a 10-ampere cord
should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should
be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be accidentally pulled or
tripped over.
11 The stand mixer must be used on stable, heat-resistant surface.
12 When disconnecting the stand mixer, turn the temperature control knob to
the OFF position before removing the plug from the power outlet.
13 Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation around the appliance, and never
operate the stand mixer in close proximity of a flame, easily flammable
materials (curtains, textiles, etc.), a radiator, an oven or any other
heat sources.
14 Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near
children. Do not leave the stand mixer unattended while connected to the
power supply.
15 This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of this appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
16 Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
17 Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun), and never
operate the stand mixer outdoors.

18 Do not use chemical additives or abrasive detergents to clean the stand
mixer, as they will damage the appliance.
19 This appliance has been designed for use in households and similar
environments, including (but not limited to) areas such as staff kitchens in
shops and offices, hotel and B&B rooms, farmhouses, etc.
Note: This appliance is not intended for use in industrial settings.
Operating instructions
• Remove all the packaging material before plugging the stand mixer into the
electricity supply.
• When using the appliance for the first time, be sure to wash all the
components in warm, soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
Important usage notes
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply socket before changing
any accessories or attachments.
• Ensure that all accessories are securely attached before operating
the appliance.
• The drive shaft starts turning as soon as the appliance is switched on. Never
touch the rotating drive shaft during operation. For added safety, always
attach the large mixing bowl to the stand mixer, even when using the
appliance as a blender or meat grinder.
• The appliance must be operated on a flat, level surface. No utensils
(such as spoons or scrapers) must be inserted into the bowl during
operation.
• Never touch moving parts during operation.
• Unplug the appliance when not in use or before cleaning.
• Never use the stand mixer when the power cord is wet or damaged. The
power cord must be repaired by authorised personnel only.
• Exercise extreme caution when cleaning the blending jug, as the blades are
extremely sharp.
• Do not use the mixing, mincing and blending functions at the same time;
only one function can be selected at any particular time.

Assembly and operation
• Carefully unpack the stand mixer, ensuring that all packaging material is
removed.
• Place the appliance on a clean, dry, level surface.
• Ensure that the speed selector knob is set to the 0 position.
Kneading
1 Cover the drive shaft of the mixing drive with the blender safety cover:
• Insert the safety cover into the recess at the top of the appliance
• Then turn the cover in the direction of the lock arrow, while pressing
down on the cover
• The cover is now safely attached in place.
2 Cover the motor housing with the protection cover:
• Set the lock ring (3) to the open position
• Attach the cover to the connector ring (4)
• Turn both the connector ring and cover towards the lock position.
3 Use your right hand to press the lever knob in the direction of the arrow to move
the swivel arm up. Continue pressing the lever knob while using your left hand to
move the swivel arm as far as it will go. The swivel arm will ‘click’ into place, and
the lever knob will move back to its original position.
4 Place the mixing bowl in place with the handle above the arrow. Use the handle
to turn the mixing bowl into the lock position.
5 When using the egg whisk or mixing blade, ensure that the splashguard is
attached first. Hold the splashguard with the collar up.
Note: You will see two recesses on either side below the arm.
The splashguard is marked with the words OPEN and LOCK. Attached the splashguard
with the word OPEN below the arrow (see illustration). Move the splashguard with its guide
tabs in the recesses, and turn it towards the LOCK position.
6 Attach the protective cover to prevent anything from entering the drive shaft.
7 Place the ingredients in the mixing bowl, taking care not to overfill the bowl.
Note: The maximum contents allowed is 1.5kg flour or 1.5L of liquid.
8 Press the lever knob in the direction of the arrow again, and move the swivel arm
slowly into place using your other hand. The swivel arm must ‘click’ into place.

Mixing or kneading dough
1 The recommended ratio for flour to water is 5:3. Ensure that the mixing bowl is
no more than ⁄ full. When filling the mixing bowl, also remember not to exceed
the 1.5kg maximum weight.
2 When using the kneading blade or mixing blade, turn the speed selector knob to
Speed 1 for the first 30 seconds, Speed 2 for another 30 seconds and finally at
Speed 3 for another 3 minutes.
Note: Never use the appliance to knead for longer than 5 minutes at a time.
Whipping egg whites or cream
1 Use the speed selector knob to select a speed between 4 – 6.
2 Whip the egg whites continuously for approximately 5 minutes until they have a
stiff consistency.
3 The maximum allowable quantity is 24 egg whites.
4 For cream, whip 250ml of fresh cream for approximately 5 minutes.
5 When filling the mixing bowl with fresh milk, cream or other ingredients, ensure
that the maximum allowable content (1.5L) is not exceeded.
6 Never use the appliance to whip ingredients for longer than 10 minutes at a time.
Mixing shakes, cocktails or other liquids
1 Mix the ingredients using the egg whisk according the recipe between speeds
1 to 6 for approximately 5 minutes.
2 Do not exceed the maximum allowable quantity (1.5L) for the mixing bowl.
3 The appliance should not be run for more than 10 continuous minutes.
Complete operation and remove bowl
1 Switch the appliance off.
2 Disconnect the stand mixer from the power supply.
3 Press the lever knob down; the swivel arm moves up.
4 Screw the quick release anti-clockwise to remove the blending tool.
5 Turn the mixing bowl clockwise and remove it.
6 Loosen the dough with a spatula and remove it from the mixing bowl.
7 Clean all the used components as per the instructions under ‘Cleaning’
on page 13.

Meat grinder assembly
1 Remove the protective cover. Then place the meat funnel and the blade housing
into the motor housing.
2 Place the filler tray on the blade housing, which is then used to mount the tray
above the motor housing.
3 Place the grinding blade in the blade housing, and assemble the secondary
blade facing out of the blade housing.
4 Select the desired drilled disc. Line up the recesses when inserting the disc.
5 Screw the lock ring clockwise into the blade housing.
6 Switch on the appliance using the power switch (15) and select a higher speed
with the speed selector switch (11).
7 Load the meat into the filler tray using the plunger.
After use, switch the unit off and unplug it from the power supply.
8 Do not use the appliance as a grinder for more
than 10 continuous minutes.
Sausage attachment assembly
1 Follow the steps on page 5 figure B. Meat grinder assembly’. Then follow the
steps below if using a ready-made sausage mixture.
2 Place the adapter on the blade housing, taking care to line up the recesses on
the housing.
3 Insert the sausage attachment into the lock ring.
4 Turn both the lock ring and sausage attachment clockwise to lock it in place on
the blade housing.
5 Assemble the secondary blade and drilled disc as described in points under ‘6.
Meat grinder assembly’, if you wish to grind the meat and produce sausage
at the same time.
Reverse function
1 Should the appliance be clogged or jammed, select the reverse by switching to
R with the I/R switch.
2 The motor will run in opposite direction to unclog the blades.
3 If this does not unclog the appliance, switch it off and clean it.
Mincing meat
1 Never attempt to grind hard ingredients such as bones or shells.
2 Cut the meat into small pieces of about 2.5cm (removing all sinews and bones)
to make the mincing easier.

Making sausage
1 All sausage skins may be used with the appliance.
2 When using natural skins, always soften them in water first. Knot one end of the
skin before proceeding.
3 Push the sausage skin over the meat funnel.
4 The sausage meat is pushed through the meat funnel to fill the skin.
5 Be sure to leave enough space in the skin to allow the ingredients of the meat
sausage to expand during boiling or frying. This will ensure that the skin does not
rupture during the cooking process.
6 Once the desired length of skin is filled, squeeze the sausage at the meat funnel
using your fingers.
7 Rotate the sausage once or twice.
8 If necessary, the appliance can be turned off between completing sausage
lengths.
Blender
Check the assembly
Please see the figure on page 6.
Check the assembly of the mixwer before operating the appliance. The safety ring (4),
sealing ring (5), blade housing (6) and base (7) must be assembled in the correct order.
1 The sealing ring must always be placed on the blade assembly to avoid
ingredients leaking from the mixing jug.
2 Ensure that the base is secure and level when attached.
3 The open side of the safety ring must be locked in place on the base.

Meat grinder assembly and operation
1 Attach the mixing bowl without any tools.
2 Cover the blade housing with the protective cover.
• Set the connector ring to the Open position.
• Attach the cover to the connector ring.
• Turn the connector ring the slot towards the Lock position.
3 Remove the blender’s safety cover by pressing the cover towards the LOCK
arrow while lifting the cover at the same time.
4 Cut all the ingredients into small pieces.
5 Put the ingredients in the blender jug, ensuring that the maximum capacity is
not exceeded.
6 Press the lid down into place on the blender jug. The blender jug needs to be
completely sealed.
7 Seal the hole at the top using the measuring cup, ensuring that the recesses on
the line up correctly with the cup. Turn the measuring cup clockwise to tighten.
8 Place the blender jug on the drive shaft.
Note: Any incorrect assembly will render the blender inoperable.
9 Connect the power plug to an earthed power outlet.
10 Speed selection and application:
• 3–4 for mixing liquids
• 5–6 for firmer consistency when mixing liquids and solid foods
• P for crushing ice or for short, strong pulses – hold the speed
selection knob at P or press repeatedly.

Blender operation and assembly
Note: The blade in the blender is extremely sharp.
1 Never reach into the blender jug once the appliance is assembled.
2 Always handle the appliance with extreme care to avoid possible injury,
especially when removing the blade, or emptying and cleaning the blender jug.
3 To prevent possible burns, never pour liquid ingredients hotter than 60°C into
the blender.
4 The drive shaft starts turning as soon as the appliance is switched on. Never
touch the rotating shaft during operation.
5 To prevent the possibility of injury, always attach the mixing bowl to
the appliance.
6 Never operate the lever knob when the blender jug is attached.
7 Do not place hard ingredients (such as nuts or coffee beans) in the blender jug.
8 The blade in the blender jug is not suitable for crushing ice cubes.
9 Do no operate the blender without ingredients.
10 When preparing drinks with crushed ice, add the ice cubes during
the mixing process.
11 Place the blender jug on a stable, level surface when adding ingredients or
fitting the lid.
12 Never exceed the blender jug’s maximum capacity of 1500ml.
13 When fitting the lid, ensure that the round tab seals the connection link of the
blender jug securely.
14 Never operate the appliance without the lid or measuring cup securely
attached in place.
15 Never remove the lid during operation.
Adding or refilling ingredients
1 Switch the appliance off.
2 Remove the measuring cup from the lid, and use this open space to add
ingredients.
3 After filling, replace the lid and measuring cup.
4 Continue operation.
Completed operation
1 Once the blending or mixing is complete, switch the appliance off.
2 Remove the plug from the mains socket.
3 Remove the lid and blender jug before emptying the blender jug.
4 Clean the various parts that were used as described under ‘Care and
maintenance’.
5 Cover the mixing blade with the blender safety cover.

Care and maintenance
• Always unplug the appliance from the power supply and set the speed selection
knob to ‘0’ before cleaning.
• Never submerge the main body of the mixer in water or any other liquid..
• Before first use, and after every subsequent use, clean each part thoroughly.
• Wipe the base clean with damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Never use abrasive
cleaning agents or cloths when cleaning.
• Ensure that all parts are completely cool and dry before storing.
• The kneading blade, mixing blade, grinding blade, filling tray, and rack ring are
not dishwasher safe. These accessories must be cleaned with warm water and a
mild cleaning detergent.
• The plastic accessories, egg whisk, mixing bowl, blender jug, blades and drilled
discs can also be cleaned in a dishwasher.
• Use vegetable oil to coat the meat grinder sieves after drying.
Disposal
Electrical products must not be disposed of with general household waste.
Please dispose of this appliance in accordance with all local government regulations.
