PLEASE READ AND SAVE THIS MANUAL.
1. To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure
electricity has been turned off at the circuit breaker
or fuse box before beginning.
2. All wiring must be in accordance with the National
Electrical Code “ANSI/NFPA 70” and local electrical
codes. Electrical installation should be performed
by a qualied licensed electrician.
3. The outlet box and support structure must
be securely mounted and capable of reliably
supporting a minimum of 50 lbs. Use only UL-listed
outlet boxes marked “FOR FAN SUPPORT.”
4. The fan must be mounted with a minimum of 10
ft. clearance from the trailing edge of the blades
to the oor.
5. Avoid placing objects in the path of the blades.
6. To avoid personal injury or damage to the fan and
other items, be cautious when working around or
cleaning the fan.
7. Do not use water or detergents when cleaning
the fan or fan blades. A dry dust cloth or lightly
dampened cloth will be suitable for most cleaning.
8. After making electrical connections, spliced
conductors should be turned upward and pushed
carefully up into the outlet box. The wires should be
spread apart with the grounded conductor and the
equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the
outlet box and ungrounded conductor on the other
side of the outlet box.
9. All setscrews must be checked and retightened
where necessary before installation.
10. Electrical diagrams are for reference only.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock or re,
do not use this fan with any solid-state fan speed control
device. It will permanently damage the electronic circuitry.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or
personal injury, mount the fan to the outlet box marked
acceptable for fan support of 22.7 kg (50 lbs) or less with
the screws provided with the outlet box. Most outlet boxes
commonly used for the support of lighting xtures are not
acceptable for fan support and may need to be replaced.
Consult a qualied electrician if in doubt.
WARNING: To Reduce The Risk Of Personal Injury, Do
Not Bend The Blade Brackets When Installing The Brackets,
Balancing The Blades, Or Cleaning The Fan. Do Not Insert
Foreign Objects In Between Rotating Fan Blades.
WARNING: The appliance is not to be used by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
NOTICE: Before servicing or cleaning the unit, switch the power
off at the service panel and lock the service disconnecting means
to prevent the power from being switched on accidentally. When the
service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a
prominent warning label onto the service panel.

Warranty
25-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The retailer warrants the fan motor to be free from defects in workmanship and material present at time of
shipment from the factory for a period of twenty-ve years after the date of purchase by the original purchaser.
The retailer also warrants that all other fan parts, excluding any glass or plexiglass blades, to be free from defects
in workmanship and material at the time of shipment from the factory for a period of one year after the date of
purchase by the original purchaser. We agree to correct such defects without charge or at our option replace with a
comparable or superior model if the product is returned to the retailer. To obtain warranty service, you must present
a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase. All costs of removing and reinstalling the product are your responsibility.
Damage to any part such as by accident or misuse or improper installation or by afxing any accessories, is not
covered by this warranty. Because of varying climatic conditions in the United States this warranty does not cover
any changes in brass nish, including rusting, pitting, corroding, tarnishing or peeling. Brass nishes of this type
give their longest useful life when protected from varying weather conditions. A certain amount of “wobble” is
normal and should not be considered a defect. Servicing performed by unauthorized persons shall render the
warranty invalid. There is no other express warranty. The retailer hereby disclaims any and all warranties,
including but not limited to, those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the extent
permitted by law. The duration of any implied warranty which cannot be disclaimed is limited to the time period
as specied in the express warranty. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so
the above limitation may not apply to you. The retailer shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or special
damages arising out of or in connection with product use or performance except as may otherwise be accorded
by law. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion or
limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives specic legal rights, and you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state. This warranty supersedes all prior warranties.

Lay all parts on a non-abrasive surface to avoid scratching. Compare parts with the Hardware Included and Package
Contents sections. If any part appears missing or damaged, do not install this product. Contact the Customer

Installation
1 Preparing the motor
WARNING: Turn the power off at the circuit box before
beginning this procedure.
WARNING: The distance from the ceiling to the bottom
of the fan blades will be approximately 19 in. for the 15 in.
downrod (for 56 in. & 60 in. fans) and 14.5 in. for 10.2 in.
downrod (for 42 in. fan).
□Pull out the split pin (CC) and remove the
downrod bolt (DD), plain washers (EE), spring
washer (FF), and hex nuts (GG). Unscrew the
hanger ball screw (ZZ) and remove the down
rod pin (YY) and hanger ball (VV).

2 Installing the canopies
□Insert the upper canopy assembly (A) and
lower canopoy (D) in the downrod (B).

3 Aligning the downrod
□Insert the downrod (B) over the shaft. Then
align the hole (1) on the downrod (B) with the
hole (2) on the shaft (I).

4 Installing the downrod
□Insert the downrod bolt (DD) along with the
plain washer (EE) in the downrod (B), ensuring
they are properly aligned.

5 Securing the downrod
□Screw the downrod bolt (DD) with plain
washers (EE), spring washer (FF) and nuts (GG)
into the downrod (B). Insert the split pin (CC) to
the end of the downrod bolt (DD).
□Bend the ends of the split pin (CC) to prevent it
from falling out of the holes.

6 Inserting the supply wires to
the downrod
□Pass the supply wires and earth (ground) wire
through the hole in downrod (B) and take out
from the top of the downrod. Insert the rubber
grommet (MM) provided in the supply wires to
the downrod hole. Fix the hanger ball (VV) with
the help of the down rod pin and screw, as
shown in the gure.

7 Securing the lower canopy
□Adjust the lower canopy (D) until it rests on the
canopy stopper screw (AA). Tighten the canopy
screw (KK) with the downrod (B). Ensure that
you maintain an appropriate gap from the top
cover (J) to lower canopy (D).
□After the lower canopy (D) rests at the canopy
stopper screw, tighten the lower canopy
screw (KK) so the gap will be automatically
maintained.

8 Installing the blades
□Position a fan blade (G) on the motor so
that the mounting screws (LL) on the blade
align with the damping washer hole (1) and
threaded hole.
□Turn a screw (LL) into the hole but do not
completely tighten.
□Ensure the second hole in the blade (G) aligns
with a damping washer hole (3) and threaded
hole in the motor. Turn the second screw (LL)
in the blade (G).
□Repeat these steps for the remaining blades (G).
□Gently tighten each screw (LL) into the motor,
working around the motor in a clockwise
sequence. Then securely tighten each screw
(LL) to ensure the blades (G) are securely
attached to the motor.

9 Installing the mounting bracket
□Securely attach the mounting bracket (E) to
the outlet box (not included) using the outlet
box screws and washers supplied with the
outlet box.
WARNING: The outlet box must be securely anchored.
The mounting bracket must seat rmly against the outlet
box. If the outlet box is recessed, remove wallboard until
the bracket contacts the box. If the bracket and/or outlet
box are not securely attached, the fan could wobble or fall.
IMPORTANT: All wiring must be in accordance with
the National Electrical Code “ANSI/NFPA 70” and local
electrical codes. Electrical installation should be performed
by a qualied licensed electrician.

10 Hanging the fan
□Carefully lift the fan assembly and seat
the hanger ball of the downrod (B) on the
mounting bracket (E). Be sure the groove in the
ball is lined up with the tab on the mounting
bracket (E).
WARNING: Failure to seat the tab in the groove could
cause damage to electrical wires and possible shock or
a re hazard.
WARNING: To avoid possible shock, do not pinch wires
between the hangar ball assembly and the mounting
bracket.

11 Installing the upper canopy
□Remove the upper canopy plastic ring (QQ)
from the upper canopy (A) by pushing it
downwards. Unscrew 2~3 threads of the
bracket screw (NN) and remove the screw of
the bracket (SS) from the hole. Fix the upper
canopy (A) in the bracket by matching the slot
and hole in the canopy and then tighten both
screws (NN) and (SS) properly.
□Insert the canopoy ring (QQ) into the upper
canopy (A) and match the lock provided in
the upper canopy ring (QQ) with the space
provided in the upper canopy (A) by pushing
upwards. Ensure that locks are properly
seated.

12 Connecting the wires
WARNING: Remember to disconnect the power. If you
feel you do not have enough electrical wiring knowledge
or experience, havfe your fan installed by a licensed
electrician.
IMPORTANT: All wiring must be in accordance with the
National Electrical Code “ANSI/NFPA 70” and local electrical
codes. Electrical installation should be performed by a
qualied licensed electrician.
Follow the steps below to connect the fan to your
household wiring. Use the wire conneting nuts
supplied with your fan. Secure the connectors with
elecrical tape. Make sure there are no loose strands or
connections.
□Connect the fan supply (black) wire to the
white wire from the wall control as shown in
supply circuit.
□Connect the neutral fan (white) wire to the
white neutral household wire.
□Connect green fan ground wire, located on the
spindle, to the household ground wire.
□After connecting the wires, spread them apart
so that the green and white wires are on one
side of the outlet box and the black wire is on
the other side.
□Turn the wire connecting nuts upward and
push wiring into the outlet box.

13 Installing the wall control
WARNING: To avoid electrical shock, make sure the
electricity is turned off at the main supply before wiring.
WARNING: This wall control switch is designed for
ceiling fan applications only. To avoid overheating and
damage to equipment, do not install this wall control
switch on any other type of electrical device or near any
heat source.
WARNING: Do not exceed the following specications:
120 V, a.c., 60 Hz, 1 Amp. max.
WARNING: Do not wire the wall control switch to more
than one ceiling fan.
IMPORTANT: All wiring must be in accordance with the
National Electrical Code “ANSI/NFPA 70” and local electrical
codes. Electrical installation should be performed by a
qualied licensed electrician.
□Turn power OFF at fuse box or circuit breaker
and remove the existing wall plate and switch.
(Figure 1).
□Make wire connections (Figure 2) and secure
with wire nuts supplied.
□Remove the two insulated wires from the old
switch. Using the wire connectors provided,
attach one of the insulated wires to either of
the white wires on the new fan control switch.
□Attach the second insulated wire to the other
white wire on the new fan control switch.
□Turn the wire connecting nuts upward and
push wiring into the outlet box.
□Attach the new fan control to the outlet (wall)
box and secure with 2 outlet box screws
(Figure 3).
□Fix the cap on the screws as shown in
Figure 3.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of re, electric shock, and/
or personal injury, wire only a single wall control switch
and ceiling fan unit together. Wiring two or more ceiling
fans to any single wall control switch may cause the
circuitry to fail by overheating. (Please do not attempt to
defeat this feature of the ceiling fan system as doing so
will void the warranty, both explicit and implicit stipulations
there of).

Operation
□The fan speed controller allows for four fan
speed settings. Turn the knob on the controller
to “1”, “2”, “3”, “4”, to set the speed of the
fan. “1” is the lowest fan speed and “4” is the
highest fan speed.

Care and Cleaning
IMPORTANT: Ensure the power is off at the electrical panel box before you attempt to make any repairs to the fan.
□Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose. Check the support
connections, and blade attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure. (It is not necessary to
remove the fan from the ceiling.)
□Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years. Use only a soft brush or
lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the nish. Do not use water when cleaning. This could damage the motor or
possibly cause an electrical shock.

Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The fan will not start. Check the circuit fuses or breakers.
Check the line wire connections to the fan and switch
wire connections in the fan speed controller.
The fan sounds noisy. Make sure all the motor housing screws are tight.
Make sure the screws that attach the fan blade to the
motor are tight.
Make sure the wire nut connections are not rubbing
against each other or the interior wall of the switch
housing.
Allow a 24-hour ‘breaking-in’ period. Most noises
associated with a new fan disappear during this time.
Some fan motors are sensitive to signals from solid-
state variable speed control. If you have installed this
type of control, choose and install another type of
control.
Make sure the upper canopy is a short distance from
the ceiling. It should not touch the ceiling.
