• Always place humidifier on a firm, flat, level surface. A waterproof mat or pad is
recommended for use under the humidifier. Never place it on a rug or carpet, or on a
finished floor that may be damaged by exposure to water or moisture.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and
before cleaning.
• DO NOT reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.
• DO NOT use water above 30º C.
• An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use
attachments not recommended by Ho edics; specifically any attachments not
provided with the unit.
• NEVER operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly, if it has been dropped, or dropped into water.
• Do not place the humidifier near heat sources, such as a stove and do not expose the
humidifier to the direct sunlight.
• Never cover the appliance when it is in operation.
• Do not touch the water in the main unit or the parts in the water when the unit is on.
• Perform regular maintenance of the Ultrasonic Nebulizer.
• Never use detergent to clean the ultrasonic nebulizer that is not recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Never scrape the ultrasonic nebulizer with a hard object to clean.
• Do not repair or adjust the unit. Servicing must be performed by professional or
qualified personnel.
• Stop use if there is an unusual noise or smell. Servicing should be performed by
qualified personnel only.
• Never operate unit without water in the tank. Only use water in the tank.
• Never add any additive to the water that is not produced or under the supervision of
the manufacturer.
• Keep the appliance out of reach from children. Do not allow children to use the
appliance without supervision.
• This appliance is designed for personal, non-professional use only.
• For indoor use only.

ltrasonic Technology
This humidifier uses ultrasonic high frequency technology to convert the water into
particles that are dispersed into the air evenly. These particles then combine with the
ions generated by the humidifier to moisten the air.
220-240V and SB Adaptors Included

ltrasonic Nebulizer
The humidifier utilizes special spray techniques and the ultrasonic nebulizer is easy to
clean.

HOW TO USE
Power ON/OFF Button
Plug unit in to either a 220-240V AC electrical outlet or USB Port. Push the POWER
Button once to turn unit on. Push again to turn the unit off.
HOW TO FILL
CA TION: Before filling unit with water, turn power off and
unplug unit from the outlet.
1. Unscrew the humidifier top cover from the water reservoir
by turning the top cover counter-clockwise. Fig 3.
Lift the top cover off and set aside.
2. NOTE: For first time use and with each new wick, you must
soak the wick before operating. Unlock the spring loaded
wick by turning to the wick holder to the left. Remove the
wick from the wick holder and soak the wick in water for 2
minutes. Replace the wick into the wick holder and secure
to the humidifier top cover by turning to the right. Fig 4.

CA TION: DO NOT operate the humidifier without first
soaking the wick. The humidifier WILL NOT function
without a wick.
3. Fill the water tank with clean, cool (not cold) tap water
to the AX FILL line. DO NOT OVERFILL. We recommend
using distilled water if you live in a hard water area. Fig 5.
4. Replace the humidifier top cover by turning clockwise
until tight. Fig 6.
5. To turn on, press the ON/OFF button on the Top Cover.
The LED light will illuminate when the humidifier is ON.
NOTE: This humidifier does not include an Auto Shut-off
when the unit runs out of water. The unit UST be
unplugged when not in use or when the water runs out.

6. Replacement wicks are available from your local Ho edics
customer service centre.
HOW TO CHANGE WICK
CA TION: Before changing wick, turn power off and unplug unit from the outlet.
1. Remove replacement wick from package and soak in water for 2 minutes.
2. Unlock the spring loaded wick by turning the wick holder to the left and removing
from the top cover. Fig 3.
3. Remove the old wick from the wick holder and discard.
4. Place the new, soaked wick into the wick holder.
5. Place the wick holder back on the unit and lock into place by turning the holder to the
right.
CLEANING AND CARE
CA TION: Before cleaning the unit, turn power off and
unplug unit from the outlet.
Tank Cleaning
Unscrew the humidifier top cover from the water reservoir
by turning the top cover counter-clockwise. Lift the top
cover off and set aside. Wipe the reservoir with a soft cloth
then rinse it with clean water. Suggestion: Clean the water
tank once every two to three weeks, depending on your
water conditions. Fig 8.
ltrasonic Nebulizer Cleaning
To clean the ultrasonic nebulizer, you must first remove the
spring loaded wick. To remove the wick, turn the top
