PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The ZCS201 RS232 Interface allows you to communicate
from any RS232 port to control Z-Wave enabled products.
ACT does not provide any computer software for this product.
This product is intended to be used with third party software
developed using the Z-Wave dll which is available in the
Z-Wave™ Developers Kit.
NOTE: A third party software provider may elect to update the
firmware with future versions of the Z-Wave API library, or request
that ACT update the firmware (added charge). If the version of the
Z-Wave API Library or Z-Wave developers Kit used is needed, see
ACT's web site for current ZCS201 product information, or call your
sales representative.
HomePro wireless radio frequency products utilize Z-Wave™
technology to communicate and inter-operate, and are compatible with
other Z-Wave™ enabled products.
ZCS201 has non skid feet for placement on horizontal surfaces.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Connect the ZCS201 to an RS232 port on the computer.
Connect the provided power supply to the ZCS201 (required for proper operation).
Make sure the antenna is straightened to a vertical position for best possible results.
Insert the third party software CD into the computer and follow the instructions on the screen.
Follow instructions contained in the third party manual or installation documents provided on the CD.
Note: This product does not support "sleep" mode or "power saver" mode on computers. This insures that the
controller will always maintain communication with Z-Wave enable devices.
