Before First Use
Safety Precautions
Remove all packaging materials.
Check that the cooking plates are clean and free of dust.
Clean the cooking plates with a damp cloth or sponge.
Take care to prevent water from running into the appliance.
When your Waffle Maker is heated for the first time, it may emit slight
smoke or odour. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does
not affect the safety of your appliance. Slightly grease the cooking
plates with a little cooking oil.
Take care around heated surfaces. The non stick plates get hot
during cooking. DO NOT touch any parts, move the waffle maker
or attempt to remove until completely cooled

• Inset the plug into the power outlet. The orange power light will turn on
• Use the temperature control to set desired temperature between MIN & MAX.
The green heating light will turn on, this will stay on until the waffle maker has
reached desired temperature.
For thick mixtures use a higher heat, for thin mixtures use a lower heat
• When the green heating light turns off this indicates that the cooking plates have
reached the correct temperature for ready cooking the waffle mixture.
• For best results, lightly spray the cooking plates with a cooking oil spray before
using. This will assist in the removal of the waffle after cooking.
• Carefully pour waffle mixture into the bottom cooking plates evenly & level.
Please be aware the mixture will rise & expand during cooking. Using a jug & spoon
or fabric piping bag is recommended. Do not use disposable piping bags.
• Gently close the lid, ensuring the top is in place. Do not slam the lid down as it
may cause the mixture to run off the cooking plates.
• Allow to cook for approximately 5-6 minutes depending on recipe or until golden
brown & crispy on the outside.
• To remove the waffle, always use a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use a sharp
object or metal, as this will damage the non-stick surface of cooking plates.
• Enjoy your delicious waffles, add your favourite topping.
