Tri-Tone Sounder.
SPECIFICATION Installation Details

Termination: Screw terminals for
0.28mm2to 2.5mm2
wire conductors.
*Operating voltage range: 18 to 30Vdc
EN54-3 voltage range: 20 to 28Vdc
Current Consumption: 7mA
Operating Temperature: -20 to +60°C

IP Rating Shallow Base IP21C
Case Material: ABS
٠ALL INSTALLATION TO BE CARRIED OUT BY A COMPETENT
PERSON.
Deep Base Moulding (weatherproof).
٠To prevent water ingress when using a Deep Base, use wall
mounting bracket Part Number: MM08728. Do not drill
fixing holes in the deep base. Use suitably rated 20mm cable
glands to fit cables or conduit via side knock-outs.
Fit ‘O’-Ring seal between sounder and base.
Deep Base.
٠Drill mounting holes in the bottom of Base for screw fixings.
٠Knock out the conduit/cable gland holes in side of deep base.
٠Fit conduit or 20mm cable glands then screw the base to the
mounting surface or BESA box.
Shallow Base Moulding.
٠Drill mounting holes in the bottom of Base for screw fixings.
٠Route cable through rear hole or side knock-outs.
٠Screw the base to the mounting surface or BESA box.
All fixings.
٠Connect unit as shown in connection details (Left).
٠Place the Tri-Tone onto the base and turn clockwise to
retain.
٠To remove the Tri-Tone turn unit counter-clockwise.
٠Where applicable, fit the security screw through the hole in
the side of the sounder case.
