SIMPLEX 4010ES Optional Modules
Available Mounting Space: A "Block" is a single 4X5" card mounting area on the PDI. Option cards use either a single block, a block pair, or three block spaces (refer to the chart below for individual option card requirements).

OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF No Trouble: There are no troubles detected on the ESS.
ON OFF OFF OFF OFF AC Fail: The AC power is disconnected, but the baery is working.
OFF ON OFF OFF OFF Low Baery: The baery is under 22V.
ON ON OFF OFF OFF Baery Cutout: The Baery charge is below 20V. At this point, if Jumper P19
is set to “baery disconnect when depleted” the system shuts down.

Depleted/Missing Baery: If jumper P19 is not set to “baery disconnect
when depleted”, this trouble appears when the baery charge is below
20V. This code also appears if the system cannot detect the baery.
ON OFF ON OFF OFF Charger Trouble: There is a trouble with the baery charger.
OFF ON ON OFF OFF Card Overcurrent: The module is drawing too much current.
ON ON ON OFF OFF Negave Earth: The circuit is shorted to ground on the negave wire.
OFF OFF OFF ON OFF Posive Earth: The circuit is shorted to ground on the posive wire.
ON OFF OFF ON OFF City Circuit 1 Trouble: The trouble congured on the City Card’s
Circuit 1 has been triggered.
OFF ON OFF ON OFF City Circuit 2 Trouble: The trouble congured on the City Card’s
Circuit 2 has been triggered.
ON ON OFF ON OFF AuxNAC Open: Depending on the chosen conguraon,
either the Aux circuit or the NAC Circuit is open.
OFF OFF ON ON OFF AuxNAC Short: Depending on the chosen conguraon,
either the Aux circuit or the NAC Circuit is experiencing a short circuit.
ON OFF ON ON OFF AuxNAC Overcurrent: Depending on the chosen conguraon,
either the Aux circuit or the NAC circuit is drawing too much current.

If the CPis not responding to the reset, the user can press and hold the switch
for 3 seconds causing a Warm Start based on the hardware switch.
