to properly install your ironing board. If you are missing parts, please do not return to place of purchase;

1. Select your installation location, for example a laundry room, walk in closet, bedroom or
another room of your choice.
2. Ensure there is enough room for the door to slide open completely.
Note: 36” wall space is need to accommodate the cabinet and sliding door.
3. Make sure an electrical outlet is nearby to plug iron into outlet.
4. Choose which direction your cabinet door will open.
The unit comes with the door sliding to the left.
If you need the door to slide to the right see next step for instructions on how to switch door.

If you are happy with the door sliding to the left then skip this step.
Note: It is recommended that 2 people complete this installation.
1. Slide the door completely open.
2 Using a Phillips head screw driver, remove the 4 screws from the bottom slide and then 4 screws from
the top slide (figure 1). Slide track left or right to expose the screw heads.
3. Slide hinges in prior to rotating to avoid damage.
Rotate the door 180 degrees (figure 2A). Hinges will now slide left. (figure 2B)
4. Line up the slides with the predrilled holes and attach the top first and then the bottom using the screws
from Step 2 (figure 3). Slide track left or right to expose the screw heads.

1. Place the Iron ‘n Fold® into the desired position, snug against the wall. (figure 1)
Note: Maintain a hand on the cabinet until installed to avoid the unit falling forward.
2. Slide the cabinet door open and lift the board, making sure the black stability cap (figure 2A)
slides firmly into place (figure 2B). Lower board into its lowest position. (figure 3)
Note: To lower the ironing board use 1 of 2 levers. Black palm lever (figure 3) at the back of the
board or the U shaped lever under the board (figure 2A).
3. Mark the location of the two pre-drilled holes in the cabinet onto the wall. (figure 4)
4. Return the board to the closed position by returning the board to its highest position,
releasing the stability cab and folding the ironing board down. Close the door and set the cabinet aside.

DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE BOLT TO USE FOR EACH PILOT HOLE
SECURING TO THE WALL
1. Drill a small pilot hole at the two marked locations.
2. If a Stud was NOT Hit: A “BUTTERFLY” (A) bolt and washer should be used in the hole.
3. If a Stud was Hit: A “LAG” (B) bolt and washer should be used in the hole.
NOTE: BE SURE TO SLIDE WASHERS ONTO BOLTS BEFORE INSERTING INTO WALL.
1. Place the Iron ‘n Fold® back into position, snug again the wall.
Note: Maintain a hand on the cabinet until installed to avoid the unit falling forward.
2. Slide the cabinet door open and lower the board to its lowest position.
3. Align the predrilled holes in the cabinet with the holes drilled into the wallboard.
NOTE: BE SURE TO SLIDE WASHERS ONTO BOLTS BEFORE INSERTING INTO WALL.
4. Slide bolts through the predrilled holes in the cabinet and into the holes in the wall board.
5. Tighten lag bolts with socket and wrench.
6. Tighten butterfly bolts with screw driver.

1. To install cover/pad lift the ironing board into place.
2. Place the nose pocket over the nose of the board and pull into place.
3. Finish by fitting over the end of the board.
This cover features a one piece construction, with a thick fiber pad, bungee cord binding and nose pocket
that allows for an easy installation and perfect fit. The cover has a stain and scorch coating.

To open the board:
1. Lift the board in place, make sure the stability cap is securely positioned over support hinge.
2. The board opens to its highest position.
Height can be adjusted by using the palm lever at the back of the board. Or by using U shaped lever
under the board. This allows for 7 height positions and accommodates most wheelchairs.
To close the board:
1. Raise the board to its highest position by placing a hand on either side of the board and lifting up.
2. Slide the stability cap up and press the support hinge inward. Lower the board into the cabinet.
NOTE: BOARD MUST BE IN ITS HIGHEST POSITION TO STORE AND CLOSE THE DOOR.
