integration tips
INTRODUCTION Your FrontRow Pro Digital system is the audio center of your class-
room! Connect your computer, TV, VCR, computer, CD player, MP3
player and other teaching technology to your system to allow children
to hear the teacher’s voice and the rich multimedia content that is
being played, regardless of where they’re seated.
The Pro Digital receiver has two auxiliary audio inputs and the 940TM
Pendant Microphone has one auxiliary audio input. They both use
industry standard connectors and ship complete with the necessary
audio cables. Integrating your classroom couldn’t be easier!
And don’t forget, with the FrontRow Pro Digital receiver you can
now Podcast by connecting the “Audio Out” from the receiver to the
“Audio In/Microphone” to the computer. See our other guide “Pod-
casting with the FrontRow Pro Digital” for more information.
OPTION 1 Many classrooms use a computer as a multi-media “hub” (with an LCD projector), which is connected to the internet or school net-
work to download/stream audio and video, and also play MP3 files. For these classrooms, you may only require one auxiliary audio
input connection to the Pro Digital. The other audio input can be connected to other media, such as an iPod®or CD player.
NOTE: Connect the “Audio Out” from the Pro Digital to the “Microphone” input on your computer (for podcasting).
OPTION 2 Some classrooms use a computer as the multi-media “hub”, but it is connected to a TV instead of an LCD projector. They also
occasionally use the TV/DVD/VCR as a stand alone medium. For these classrooms, you may need to use both auxiliary audio input
connections to the Pro Digital receiver.
NOTE: Connect the “Audio Out” from the Pro Digital to the “Microphone” input on your computer (for podcasting).
