HP E34m G4 34" Monitor
Purpose: The document is intended for use by end-of-life recyclers or treatment facilities. It provides the basic instructions for the
disassembly of HP Inc. products to remove components and materials requiring selective treatment, as defined by EU directive
2012/19/EC, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
NOTE: Recyclers should sort plastic materials into resin streams for recycling based on the ISO 11469 plastic marking code on the
plastic part. For any questions on plastic marking or identification of location of parts or components requiring selective treatment,
please contact HP’s Sustainability Contact.
1.0 Items Requiring Selective Treatment

3.0 Product Disassembly Process
3.1 List the basic steps that should typically be followed to remove components and materials requiring selective treatment including
the required steps to remove the external enclosure.
1. The model using the curved surface screen; There must be put soft mat above of the work station and don't push
hard on the machine to avoid cause screen to crack.
2. Push the button to remove the stand-base ass’y
3. Remove the screws to remove the Rear cover.
4. Use disassembly tool to open all the latches along the edge of the rear cover.

5. Lift the rear cover,take off the tapes and disconnect the connectors.
6. Tear off the tapes carefully.
7. Remove the pins and remove the screw.
8. Remove the screws and disconnect the pin to remove the mainframe.
9. Remove the Mylar
10. Unscrew the screws to remove the main board and power board.
11. Remove the connect pins.
12. Unscrew the screws to remove the middle frame and Panel
13. Remove the DECO_BEZEL.
14. Remove the screws and disconnect the pins to remove the Webcam Module.
15. Remove the Connector Board
16. Tear off the tapes, unscrew the screws and remove the cable.
17. Unscrew the screws. Disconnect the pins
18. Unscrew the screws and disconnect the in to remove the USB board.
19. Remove the screws and take off the tapes to remove the speaker
20. Unscrew the screw and disconnect the pin to remove the Audio board.

12. Mechanical Instructions
1. Precaution
Please read the precautions as follows to prevent any damages to the LCD Monitor.
Make sure all power connection is removed. Be sure that the LCD Monitor is in power off status.

Prepare soft cloth and sponge as
working platform to place LCD
