The Huawei E5776s Wi-Fi router purchased from GigSky is pre-configured with the correct APN
(Access Point Name) setting of gigsky, which enables it to connect to the Internet correctly.
Sometimes, when moving between countries, the APN will be reset to the factory default. When
this happens, the router will not connect properly, and you will either get no data, or you may see a
web page prompting you to set the APN on your computer or mobile device. If you experience
either of these conditions, then you will need to select the correct APN on the router. To do this,
carry out the following steps:
Connect to the router's Wi-Fi network
Connect to the router’s Wi-Fi network using your computer, tablet or smartphone.
Note: The default Service Set IDentifier (SSID) and wireless network encryption key are engraved
into the bottom of the device.
Connect to the router's admin interface
1. Open http://192.168.1.1 in your web browser
2. Click the “Log In” link: Username - admin, Password - admin
Note: If the device determines that your password is too weak, it will prompt to change the
password. You can choose to ignore this prompt.

Check the Profile (APN) settings
1. Click Settings
2. Click Profile Management
3. Verify that the Profile name is set to GigSky.
Note: If the Profile name is something else, select GigSky from the Profile name dropdown menu
and click Apply. If there is no profile named GigSky, refer to the step called Set up a new profile for
instructions on how to create it.

Set up a new profile
Click New Profile.

Enter profile values
1. Profile name - GigSky
2. APN - Static
3. APN name - gigsky
4. Leave the User name and Password fields blank, and click Save.

Ensure that GigSky is the default profile and is selected
Verify Network Settings
1. Network - Auto
2. Network Search - Auto

Verify Mobile Connection
1. Connection mode - Auto
2. Data roaming - Enable

Reboot the device
1. Click System
2. Click Reboot
3. Click the button labeled Reboot

Verify that the device is connected to the Internet using the admin interface
When the router has restarted, reconnect to the router’s Wi-Fi network using your computer, tablet
or smartphone and open http://192.168.1.1 in your web browser. If the globe symbol is blue, the
device is connected to the Internet.
Verify that the device is connected to the Internet using the LCD screen
If the globe symbol is displayed on the LCD screen of the device, it is connected to the Internet.
