1 SYSTEM SUMMARY
•The system consists of a 2hp Baldor motor and shaft driven pump that is
capable of producing 1300 psi at 2.1 gallons per minute (gpm). When the
gun is not in use, the unloader engages and puts the unit into bypass mode.
•The ball valve coming off the unloader allows the operator to cut off the
pressure to the hose and gun to allow removal of the gun. Shut off the
valve, release pressure in the hose and gun by pulling the trigger, remove
the tip, gun, or hose.
•A wall mount reel is supplied with a 50’ high pressure (3000 psi) blue non-
marking hose with steel braided reinforcement and a quick disconnect to
allow attaching additional accessories. The gun wand assembly also has a
quick disconnect for attaching different tips and accessories.
•Accessories include a 20” floor scrubber for fast floor cleaning and a
tankless hot water heater to provide a hot water source to the machine

2 SYSTEM COMPONENTS
2.1 MACHINE
The motor is a TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) C-faced motor. The model
EZ2130 uses a Baldor 2hp motor and requires a 20 Amp GFCI (Ground Fault
Interrupter) feed. It operates on 120-volt single phase power.
Do not restrict airflow through the fan end of the motor housing. Cooling takes
place by air movement over the outer skin of the motor. Restricting airflow may
cause motor damage to occur.
The Balder 2hp motors have a internal manual thermal overload protector. In the
case that the motor becomes overloaded the protector may trip rendering the
motor inoperable. After the motor has cooled the red button on the motor junction
box on the 2hp must be pushed to reset the protector.
If the motor overload devises fail, check carefully for factors that may cause the
motor overload to increase. The most common cause of such a failure would be a
partially plugged gun nozzle. Also, leaving the machine running in bypass mode
produces additional heat and amp draw on the motor and can trip the thermal
overload. If not using the system for more than 10 minutes, shut off the pump
switch to reduce this condition.
2.2 PUMP
The pump used on the model EZ2130 is a General Pump T9061. The pump
crankcase contains 30 W non-detergent lubricating oil and oil levels are visible
through a sight glass on the end of the crankcase and on the upper dipstick. Oil
should appear near the midpoint of the glass when pump is not running.
2.3 SOAP/ CHEMICAL AND TEMPERATURE SWITCH
Soap and non-caustic chemicals can be drawn into the system through a solenoid
valve that opens when the soap switch is turned on. Soap is then pulled into the
pump suction.
Incoming water passes by a temperature switch on its way to the pump suction.
The temperature switch senses water temperature at this point and if water
temperature reaches 140º it will turn the machine off and turns on a red warning
light. This is to keep from damaging the pump. Most red warning lights are caused
when an operator leaves the machine on for long periods of time with the gun
closed. During this time water re-circulates through the pump and the water
becomes hot enough to damage internal pump parts.

2.4 MACHINE CONTROL PANEL
Power enters the control box at 120 volts AC. Within the panel the power is
stepped down through transformers to 24 volts AC. All control functions operate at
24 volts AC for safety reasons. The only component which sees 120 volts is the
motor starter relay, which is the switch controlling the motor.

4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
4.1 MACHINE
WARNING: When using this product, the basic precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
Read all instructions before using this product.
•To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when a product
is used near children.
•Know how to stop the product and bleed pressures quickly. Be thoroughly
familiar with the controls.
•Stay alert – watch what you are doing.
•Do not operate the product when fatigued or under the influence of drugs.
•Keep operating area clear of all persons.
•Do not overreach or stand on unstable support. Keep good footing and
balance at all times.
•Follow the maintenance instructions specified in this manual.
WARNING: Risk of injection or severe injury. Keep clear of Nozzle. Do not direct
discharge stream at persons. This product is to be used only be trained operators.
CAUTION: Spray gun kicks back. Hold on with both hands.
WARNING: Risk of Explosion. Do not spray flammable fluids.
4.2 GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product must be connected to a grounded, metal, permanent wiring system;
or an equipment-grounded conductor must be run with circuit conductors and
connected to the equipment grounding terminal lead on the product.

4.3 GROUNDING FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER PROTECTION
To provide additional protection from the risk of electrical shock, this machine
should only be connected to a panel breaker that is protected by a Ground Fault
Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
TANKLESS WATER HEATER
1. You must read and follow all instructions. Serious bodily injury or death could
occur if you ignore this warning.
2. All circuit breakers and/or disconnect switches servicing the heater must be
turned off when installing, uninstalling, or repairing this water heater.
3. The Hubbell Tankless Water Heater must be grounded.
4. The unit must be installed by a licensed electrician and plumber.
5. The unit must be wired in accordance with the current version of the National
Electrical Code (US) or Canadian Electric Code (Canada).
6. This installation must comply with all national, state, and local plumbing and
electrical codes.
7. When the heater is not within sight of the electrical circuit breakers, an additional
local means of disconnection of all ungrounded conductors must be provided
that is within sight of the appliance or a circuit breaker lockout must be used.

8. If the Hubbell Tankless Water Heater is installed in a location where water
damage could occur in the event of a leak, it is recommended that a drip pan be
installed and connected to a suitable drain. Alternatively, an active water leak
detector and shut off valve can be installed to turn off your water supply in the
event a leak is detected.
9. If water supply has a high mineral content, a water softening system is
recommended. Damage to the water heater resulting from scale or hard
minerals will not be covered under warranty.

5 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: MACHINE
5.1 MACHINE
The main assembly of the cleaning unit is pre-assembled and was tested
thoroughly at the factory. The support legs, or wall mounting brackets, are packed
separately and will need to be attached to the main assembly.
5.2 INSTALLATION OF THE MACHINE – WATER & POWER
This machine is only to be installed after reading the installation guide and is to be
installed according to local codes and regulations. Water supply line are 6’ in
length so water valves should be placed within the appropriate distance. A 4’ SEO
10/3 power is supplied, however since local code varies for twist lock, shut off, and
hard wire applications a terminal connection needs to be outfitted by a licensed
electrician according to local code.
Incoming Water Controls
Incoming water enters the machine through a dual solenoid valve. These valves
control the incoming cold and hot water. The cold and hot water valves open at the
same time to allow the machine to move warm water. Hot water is never used
through the machine.
Incoming water enters the water break tank through a float-controlled water break
valve. The pump then pulls water from the tank as the float valve maintains the
water level in the tank. Water line pressure does not force water into the pump
suction. This system is used so that air gas between the supply line and water
level prevents contaminated water from ever being pulled back into drinking water
supplies in the case of system malfunction.
