1 SYSTEM SUMMARY
•The system consists of a 2hp Baldor motor and shaft driven pump that is
capable of producing 1300 psi at 2.1 gallons per minute (gpm). When the
gun is not in use, the unloader engages and puts the unit into bypass mode.
•The ball valve coming off the unloader allows the operator to cut off the
pressure to the hose and gun to allow removal of the gun. Shut off the
valve, release pressure in the hose and gun by pulling the trigger, remove
the tip, gun, or hose.
•A wall mount reel is supplied with a 50’ high pressure (3000 psi) blue non-
marking hose with steel braided reinforcement and a quick disconnect to
allow attaching additional accessories. The gun wand assembly also has a
quick disconnect for attaching different tips and accessories.
•Accessories include a 20” floor scrubber for fast floor cleaning and a
tankless hot water heater to provide a hot water source to the machine

2 SYSTEM COMPONENTS
2.1 MACHINE
The motor is a TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) C-faced motor. The model
EZ2130 uses a Baldor 2hp motor and requires a 20 Amp GFCI (Ground Fault
Interrupter) feed. It operates on 120-volt single phase power.
Do not restrict airflow through the fan end of the motor housing. Cooling takes
place by air movement over the outer skin of the motor. Restricting airflow may
cause motor damage to occur.
The Balder 2hp motors have a internal manual thermal overload protector. In the
case that the motor becomes overloaded the protector may trip rendering the
motor inoperable. After the motor has cooled the red button on the motor junction
box on the 2hp must be pushed to reset the protector.
If the motor overload devises fail, check carefully for factors that may cause the
motor overload to increase. The most common cause of such a failure would be a
partially plugged gun nozzle. Also, leaving the machine running in bypass mode
produces additional heat and amp draw on the motor and can trip the thermal
overload. If not using the system for more than 10 minutes, shut off the pump
switch to reduce this condition.
2.2 PUMP
The pump used on the model EZ2130 is a General Pump T9061. The pump
crankcase contains 30 W non-detergent lubricating oil and oil levels are visible
through a sight glass on the end of the crankcase and on the upper dipstick. Oil
should appear near the midpoint of the glass when pump is not running.
2.3 SOAP/ CHEMICAL AND TEMPERATURE SWITCH
Soap and non-caustic chemicals can be drawn into the system through a solenoid
valve that opens when the soap switch is turned on. Soap is then pulled into the
pump suction.
Incoming water passes by a temperature switch on its way to the pump suction.
The temperature switch senses water temperature at this point and if water
temperature reaches 140º it will turn the machine off and turns on a red warning
light. This is to keep from damaging the pump. Most red warning lights are caused
when an operator leaves the machine on for long periods of time with the gun
closed. During this time water re-circulates through the pump and the water
becomes hot enough to damage internal pump parts.

2.4 MACHINE CONTROL PANEL
Power enters the control box at 120 volts AC. Within the panel the power is
stepped down through transformers to 24 volts AC. All control functions operate at
24 volts AC for safety reasons. The only component which sees 120 volts is the
motor starter relay, which is the switch controlling the motor.

4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
4.1 MACHINE
WARNING: When using this product, the basic precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
Read all instructions before using this product.
•To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when a product
is used near children.
•Know how to stop the product and bleed pressures quickly. Be thoroughly
familiar with the controls.
•Stay alert – watch what you are doing.
•Do not operate the product when fatigued or under the influence of drugs.
•Keep operating area clear of all persons.
•Do not overreach or stand on unstable support. Keep good footing and
balance at all times.
•Follow the maintenance instructions specified in this manual.
WARNING: Risk of injection or severe injury. Keep clear of Nozzle. Do not direct
discharge stream at persons. This product is to be used only be trained operators.
CAUTION: Spray gun kicks back. Hold on with both hands.
WARNING: Risk of Explosion. Do not spray flammable fluids.
4.2 GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product must be connected to a grounded, metal, permanent wiring system;
or an equipment-grounded conductor must be run with circuit conductors and
connected to the equipment grounding terminal lead on the product.

4.3 GROUNDING FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER PROTECTION
To provide additional protection from the risk of electrical shock, this machine
should only be connected to a panel breaker that is protected by a Ground Fault
Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
TANKLESS WATER HEATER
1. You must read and follow all instructions. Serious bodily injury or death could
occur if you ignore this warning.
2. All circuit breakers and/or disconnect switches servicing the heater must be
turned off when installing, uninstalling, or repairing this water heater.
3. The Hubbell Tankless Water Heater must be grounded.
4. The unit must be installed by a licensed electrician and plumber.
5. The unit must be wired in accordance with the current version of the National
Electrical Code (US) or Canadian Electric Code (Canada).
6. This installation must comply with all national, state, and local plumbing and
electrical codes.
7. When the heater is not within sight of the electrical circuit breakers, an additional
local means of disconnection of all ungrounded conductors must be provided
that is within sight of the appliance or a circuit breaker lockout must be used.
(Ref. NEC 422.31)
8. If the Hubbell Tankless Water Heater is installed in a location where water
damage could occur in the event of a leak, it is recommended that a drip pan be
installed and connected to a suitable drain. Alternatively, an active water leak
detector and shut off valve can be installed to turn off your water supply in the
event a leak is detected.
9. If water supply has a high mineral content, a water softening system is
recommended. Damage to the water heater resulting from scale or hard
minerals will not be covered under warranty.

5 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: MACHINE
5.1 MACHINE
The main assembly of the cleaning unit is pre-assembled and was tested
thoroughly at the factory. The support legs, or wall mounting brackets, are packed
separately and will need to be attached to the main assembly.
5.2 INSTALLATION OF THE MACHINE – WATER & POWER
This machine is only to be installed after reading the installation guide and is to be
installed according to local codes and regulations. Water supply line are 6’ in
length so water valves should be placed within the appropriate distance. A 4’ SEO
10/3 power is supplied, however since local code varies for twist lock, shut off, and
hard wire applications a terminal connection needs to be outfitted by a licensed
electrician according to local code.
Incoming Water Controls
Incoming water enters the machine through a dual solenoid valve. These valves
control the incoming cold and hot water. The cold and hot water valves open at the
same time to allow the machine to move warm water. Hot water is never used
through the machine.
Incoming water enters the water break tank through a float-controlled water break
valve. The pump then pulls water from the tank as the float valve maintains the
water level in the tank. Water line pressure does not force water into the pump
suction. This system is used so that air gas between the supply line and water
level prevents contaminated water from ever being pulled back into drinking water
supplies in the case of system malfunction.

5.3 MACHINE LOCATION AND MOUNTING
WARNING: The main pump unit is heavy. Please do not attempt to do the job
alone. Have at least two people lift the unit up on the wall brackets.
1. The machine is to be mounted in a warm dry area.
CAUTION: The machine is not intended for installation into an area that is
exposed to freezing temperatures or wet conditions.
2. The unit should be mounted in a location close to the power and water supply
as stated in the previous page. It should not be mounted above or close to any
electrical panel or other components that would be damaged by a water leak
such as security monitors, computers or other equipment. For wall mount
applications, the unit has mounting holes in the frame for 16” or 24” stud wall
centers. The preferred method of installation is to mount a 2’x3’ backing board
of ½” plywood to the wall using 3/8”x3.5” lag screws using 3 vertically on each
side. Wall studs are typically 1.5” in diameter and mounting the wall brackets
directly to the center of a stud can be hit and miss procedure. Using the backer
board ensures a solid and secure mounting surface and eliminates issues with
drywall or FRP finishes. In new construction, ½” backing board can be pre-
mounted on the stud walls and covered by FRP for a cleaner look. If you
choose not to use a backing board, it is critical that the stud walls are identified,
and mounting screws are directly in the center of the stud. To ensure proper
application, mount the brackets and test with 150lbs of application.
•If using a floor mount bracket, make sure the legs can be secured to the
floor and be aware of any in-floor heating systems or electrical lines.
•For proper location of the mounting brackets, identify the area as described
in #2, and use the template on the next page to mark the holes.
•Hook up the cold and hot water supply lines to the inlet solenoids on the
machine.
•Hook up the electrical power to the machine as per local code. As stated
earlier, a power cord has been supplied, however the appropriate plug
needs to be installed as per your local code.

Notes
• Power distribution blocks are only installed on single phase models.
• Magnetic contactors are only installed on 3-phase models.
• Transformers are only installed on 3-phase models over 240 volt
Mounting the unit:
•Leave a minimum of 12” to both sides and 4” on the top and bottom of the unit.
•Mount the water heater securely to the wall by putting four (4) screws through the
mounting holes.
•Install a ¼” diameter bead of sealing caulk around the entire perimeter of the
heater between the heater back panel and the wall. This prevents any moisture
or debris from accumulating.

Plumbing Installation Instructions:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
•Ensure all fitting installations comply with local plumbing and building codes.
• This water heater does not require a temperature and pressure (T&P) relief
valve. You may install a T&P relief valve if the county, city or state plumbing
code requires it.
•Installations in the Commonwealth of MASSACHUSETTS and KENTUCKY
require a T&P relief valve.
•When connecting to a plumbing system that utilizes Flex or PVC, a T&P relief
valve should be used as added safety.
• Do not connect the unit directly to CPVC pipe. You must use at least three feet
of copper pipe prior to connecting to any CPVC connection.
•WARNING: Do not solder any pipes with the unit connected to the pipes. Doing
so will damage the flow meter and void your warranty.
• Before energizing the heater, run water for a minimum of three (3) minutes and
verify that all air has been removed.
• Installation of an air separator device is recommended for installations where air
can be easily introduced into the water system (i.e. Well water systems, lake
pumps, and other municipal systems).
• A shut off valve MUST be installed on inlet side of unit. A shut off valve on the
outlet is recommended.
Pipe Preparation:

•Cut the tube so that the ends are square. WARNING: Ensure that there are no
burrs or damage to the cut end. This will prevent any damage to the internal O-
ring.
•Once the tubing end is cut square and clean, mark the pipe to be installed at a
distance of 1 ¾” from the end of the pipe. This is the insertion depth.
•Check that fittings and tubing are clean, in good condition and are free from
damage and foreign objects.
Flushing the Line:
• Before connecting the copper pipe to the water heater, it is extremely important
to flush the lines to eliminate all plumbing paste, residue, or debris in the lines.
Installation to Quick-Connect Fitting:
•Cut the pipe or tubing squarely and inspect the outside diameter of the pipe or
tubing to be sure there is no damage, nicks, burrs, or debris.
•Deburr and clean pipe or tubing as necessary.
•Use the insertion depth specified in the table below.

•If using PEX tubing, insert the supplied stiffener into the end of the pipe.
• Make certain to push the tubing completely into the fitting until it comes into
contact with the internal tube stop.
• Insert push ring clip.
•Connect the cold water line to the water heater inlet marked cold water. Connect
the hot water line to the water heater outlet marked hot water.

• After inserting both fittings, open the hot water faucet and allow water to run
through the water heater for at least three (3) minutes, cycling the flow on and
off every minute. This process clears all the air from the lines and must be
performed prior to turning on the power at the unit. WARNING: Failure to do
this may damage the flow meter or heating elements and will void your
warranty.
Disconnecting a Joint:
•Ensure the system has been depressurized before removing fitting.
•Remove push ring clip.
•Push the push ring in squarely against the face of the fitting.
•With the push ring held securely in this position, the tubing can be removed.
Checking for Leaks and Purging Air:
•If unit has been wired, verify all circuit breakers supplying power to the unit are
turned off.
•Open all hot water taps supplied by the unit and inspect water connections for
leaks.
•With all hot water taps still open, allow the water to run for a minimum of 3
minutes. Inspect each tap to ensure all air in the lines has been purged. This
process purges all the air from the water lines and MUST be performed prior to
turning on the power at the unit. WARNING: FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS STEP
CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE HEATING ELEMENTS.
•Close all hot water taps.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
•The unit must be wired in accordance with the current version of the National
Electrical Code (US) or Canadian Electric Code (Canada).
•The unit must have its own independent circuits.
•When the heater is not within sight of the electrical circuit breakers, an additional
local means of disconnection of all ungrounded conductors must be provided that
is within sight of the appliance or a circuit breaker lockout must be used. (Ref.
NEC 422.31)
• Wire entry must be through the electrical KO provided in the bottom of the unit.
•For Canada, per Canadian Electric Code, C22.1-02, the unit must be wired by a
single feed installation with one (1) double-pole circuit breaker.
•For US, the unit may be wired by a single feed installation with one (1) double-
pole circuit breaker or by a multiple feed installation with multiple double-pole
circuit breakers.
Wiring to the water heater:
• Connect the power wire from the main panel to the power distribution block or
magnetic contactor as applicable.
• Connect the main ground wire to the ground lug in the heater.
• Make sure the connections are securely tightened.
Electrical Specifications:
Listed in the following tables are the electrical specifications for each tankless
water heater model.
□Tankless water heaters are considered a non-continuous load.
□If a multiple feed installation is used, it is acceptable to install up to two
conductors in one line side port. Additionally, when a power distribution block is
supplied, additional conductors may be installed in an open load side port of the
power distribution block.
□Wiring sizing listed is for 75°C THHN. 60°C or 90°C wire may be used. Refer to
NEC table 310.16 for sizing.
□Conductors should be sized to maintain a voltage drop of less than 3% under
load.
6 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: MACHINE
6.1 START UP/ USE PROCEDURE
1. Hook up the hose and gun to the quick coupler on the machine.
2. To start the machine, make sure main on/off switch (toggle switch) on the

machine is in the on position. Turn the pump switch on at the unit, this will start
the motor, pump, and open the cold solenoid providing cold water to the
reservoir tank.
3. Grasp gun firmly and squeeze trigger.
CAUTION: The gun kicks back, hold on with both hands.
4. Activate the soap system by turning the soap switch on the remote panel to the
on position. This will cause soap to be pulled in the suction of the pump. You
should open and close the gun several times to remove any air from the
system. If the soap jug is empty, the machine will not reach maximum
performance.
5. Activate the warm water by turning the warm switch on the remote panel to the
on position. This allows hot water to mix with cold water.
6. The system is designed to pump water when the gun trigger is open. When
gun or valve is closed the relief valve opens and allows water to recirculate
through the pump until the gun or valve is reopened. It is not wise to let the
pump operate for more than a few minutes in this recirculation mode because
heat will build up internally and could cause damage to pump parts. For this
reason, a temperature switch is placed in the inlet of the pump and if
temperature goes too high the machine will shut down. After the temperature
goes down it will be necessary to restart the machine as before. To avoid this
delay, always remember to shut the machine off if the gun or valve is going to
be closed more than a minute or two.
6.2 SHUT DOWN PROCEDURE
1. Make sure warm and soap switches are in the OFF position.
2. Turn the motor switch to the OFF position.
3. Bleed pressure from the spray gun hose by squeezing the trigger
4. Disconnect hose from the outlet.
WARNING: Always turn the main ON/OFF switch located at the front of the
machine to the OFF position when done using machine.

Once the water supply is on and air has been purged from the system, power the
unit on at the main panel. The unit is now operating automatically. When water
flows through the unit, the heating elements turn on to heat the water to the
displayed setpoint temperature. When the water flow stops, the heating elements
turn off.
You can adjust the setpoint upward or downward by pressing the UP or DOWN
button.
Displaying Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees and adjusting other settings for the
tankless water heater can be done via the configuration menu, described below.

8 WARRANTY:

8.1 PARTS AND LABOR
Hubbell Water Heaters warrants this product against defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of its delivery. Any
replacement parts furnished at no cost to purchase in fulfillment of this warranty,

are warranted only for the unexpired portion of the original warranty.
8.2 LIMITATIONS
Purchaser will be responsible for the costs of any service call requested to
demonstrate or confirm the proper operation of the appliance, to correct an
improper installation that the purchaser may have performed, or to correct
malfunctions in the appliance created by operation of the appliance in a manner
not prescribed by, or cautioned against, in the HyrdaWash Instruction Manuals.
This Warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse,
improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, unauthorized
modification, the affixing of any attachment not provided. It does not cover damage
from to rust, calcium, or lime build up due to hard water.
This Warranty covers only defective materials and workmanship. It does not cover
depreciation or damage caused by normal wear, accident, improper maintenance,
improper use, abuse or negligence. The cost of maintenance and replacement of
normal wear parts, such as nozzles, hoses, and quick couplers, shall be paid for
by the purchaser.
Examples of improper use are:
•The use of chemicals not specifically designed for use through a power
cleaning system.
•The use of an acid through the power system.
•Failure to follow lubrication instructions.
•Operation without proper water input.
•Operation with incoming water temperatures exceeding 140 F
•Operation with extremely high or low electricity line voltages. (Maximum
tolerance of plus or minus 10% of the recommended voltage.)
Disclaimer
The warranty described in this agreement is in lieu of all other warranties. The
parties agree that the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose and all other warranties, express or implied, are excluded from
this agreement.
