4.2 Inbetriebnahme / Using the Gyro / Messa in uso
• Schalter für Kreiselfunktion am Sender auf AUS stellen. / Set transmitter switch for gyro to OFF. /
Metter lo switch sulla trasmittente per la funzione del giro su OFF.
• Modell fest auf den Boden legen. Während des Einschaltvorganges wird der Kreisel intialisiert,
dabei darf sich das Modell NICHT bewegen. Es kommt dabei nicht auf die Lage des Modells an - ggf.
das Modell auf dem Rücken auf den Bodel legen. Auch ein leichtes Schaukeln des Modells durch
Windeinüsse ist nicht akzeptabel. Während der Initialisierung sendet die LED verschiedene Codes. /
Place the model rm to the ground. When switching on the model, the gyro gets initialized. During this
initilization, the model does not move at all. If necessary, put the model upside down to the ground -
the position of the model is not important at this moment. During initialization the LED sends multiple
codes. / Appoggiare il modello a terra. Mentre lo accendete, il giroscopio viene inizializzato: il modello
non si deve assolutamente muovere!! Non importa se il modello sta a pancia in su o in giù, ma il
modello non si deve assolutamente muovere, nemmeno leggermente! Durante l‘inizializzazione i LED
mandano vari codici.
• Nach erfolgreicher Initialisierung blinkt die LED langsam und die Servos lassen sich über den
Sender bewegen. / When the gyro nished initilization, you can move the servos by the transmitter.
The gyro LED is ashing slowly. / Ad inizialiazzione avvenuta, il LED lampeggia lentamente e i servi
possono comandati tramite la radio.
• Flackert die LED extrem schnell, ist die Initialisierung fehlgeschlagen. In diesem Fall muss der
Empfänger aus- und wieder eingeschaltet werden, um die Initialisierung zu wiederholen. / In case the
LED is ickering fast, the initialization procedure failed. Switch off the receiver and start the initializa-
tion again. / Se il LED lampeggia velocemente, l‘inizializzazione non è avvenuta. Dovete spegnere e
riaccendere la ricevente e iniziare da capo
4.3 Der Erstug mit Kreisel / First ight with Gyro / Il primo volo con il giroscopio
• Schalten Sie das Modell ein, wie unter Punkt 4.2 beschrieben. Aktivieren Sie am Sender den Kreisel
und prüfen Sie nochmals die korrekte Laufrichtung der Servos indem Sie das Modell um alle drei
Achsen bewegen. / Switch on the model as described under 4.2. Activate the gyro by the transmiter
and check again the correct steering direction of all servos by moving the model over all three axis. /
Accendere il modello come desritto sotto il punto 4.2. Attivare il giroscopio e controllare il giusto verso
dei servi.
• Abschließend den Kreisel über den Sender wieder ausschalten und das Modell OHNE Kreisel-
Funktion starten. Bringen Sie das Modell auf eine sichere Höhe und aktivieren Sie den Kreisel, um
die Funktion und Wirkung zu testen. / Finally switch off the gyro by the transmitter again and launch
the model WITHOUT the gyro function. At a safe altitude, switch on the gyro and check its function./
Spegnere il giroscopio di nuovo tramite TX e accendere il modello SENZA la funzione giroscopio.
Portarlo a quota di sicurezza e ora attivare il giroscopio per controllarne il funzionamento.

• Erhöhen Sie die Ansprechempndlichkeit von Flug zu Flug, bis die Servos anfangen aufzuschwin-
gen. An diesem Punkt die Ansprechempndlichkeit etwas zurückregeln, Sie haben jetzt den optimalen
Punkt gefunden. Bei starkem Wind muss die Ansprechempndlichkeit ggf. weiter reduziert werden.
/ Increase the sensitivity from ight to ight until the servos start jittering. At this point you have to
reduce the sensitivity a little bit - you have found the perfect setting now. It might be possible, that you
have to reduce the sensitivity a bit more under windy conditions. / Aumentare la sensibilità di volo in
