To adjustthe Basslevel,first selectthe Bassmode by pressing
theSelect

until "BASS" indication appearson the display panel.
Within
5 secondsof choosingthe Bass
mode, turn right/left to adjust the bass
levelasdesired. Thebass 1eve1will be shown on thedisplay panelfrom
aminimumof "BASS
-10" toamaximumof "BASS10".
The display will automatically return to the normal indication in 5
secondsafterthelastadjustmentor when anotherfunction isactivated.

To adjustthe left-right speakerbalance,

theBalancemode,turn right/left to adjust
thebalance
as
oeslreo.
Thebalancepositionwill beshownbythebarsonthedisplaypanel
from "BAL10L"
(fullleft)to "BAL10R" (fullright).
Whenthevolumelevelbetweentheleftandrightspeakersisequal,
"BALL=R"will beshownonthedisplaypanel.

Thedisplay will automaticallyreturn to thenormal indication in 5seconds
afterthelastadjustmentor when another

To adjust the front-rear speaker balance,first selectthe Fadermode by
pressingthe Selectbutton iZ-l
until the "FADER" indication appearson

Within 5 seconds of choosingthe Fadermode, turn right/left to adjust
thefront-rearspeaker
levelasdesired.
The fader posiiion wilI be shown by the barson the display panel from
'FADER 10F' (tull front) to "FADER 10R"(tull rear).When the volume
levelbetr,veenthefront and rearspeaker is equal, "FADERF=R" will be
shown on the display panel.
Thedisplay will automaticallyreturn to the
normal indication in 5 secondsafterthe lastadiustmentor when another
function isactivated.

BEEP
CONTROL
To adjusttheBeep
mode,first selecttheBeepmodeby pressing theSelect button (Duntil "BEEP"
indication appearson
thedisplay panel.
TheBeepmode will beshown on the display panelfrom "BEEP 2ND", "BEEP OFF"and 'BEEP
ON". The dispiay will
automaticallvreturn to the normal indication in 5 secondsafterthe lastadiustmentor when another
function is
activated.
Select
"BEEP
ON" when you wish to hearthe "BEEP"
soundwheneveranyfunctionbutton ispressed.
Select
"BEEP
2ND" when you wish to hearthe "BEEP" sound whenever any Tuner Pre-setbutton and/or Tune Seek

LOUDNESS CONTROL (LOUD)
When listeningto musicatlow volume levels,
thisfeature will boostthebassandtreble
response.
Thisactionwill compensatefor thereductionin bassandtreble
performance
exreriencedatlow volume.
PressLOUD button6 to activate
thisfeafure. This "LOUD" mirk will beindiiated on the display panel.
Pressing
the
button againwill de-activatethefuirctionand "LOUD" mark will disappearfrom thedisplaypane1.

To activate the security pin code, please fo}low these steps.
l.Turn on yout stereo.
2.If the stereo screen indicates '1 CDE", this is a message that you
need enter your anti-theft security pin code.

Your securitypin code
number canbefound on theplasticcardsuppliedwith your new Hyundai vehicle.
4.Every Hyundai stereo
hasits own individual anti-theftsecurity
pin code.
Enteringan incorrectpin codeor usinS;
incorrectprocedures
will not activateyour stereoto anoperational
status.
5.
Your anti-theftpin codeis madeup of four computer-generated
numbers.
6.
An example pin codemaybe3212.
7.To enter pin code 3272tnto your stereo,always follow thesesteps,

PressPre-setbutton number one(1), three

times.
b.Press
Pre-setbutton number two (2), two (2) times.
c.
PressPre-setbutton number three

one(1) time.
d. PressPre-setbutton number four (4),
two (2) times.
e.Check
that thepin codeshown on your stereoscreen
is "3212" .
f.PressPre-setbutton number five (5) once
to activatethepin code.
Your Stereo is now readied for full operation,

10.Important : If you haveenteredthe incorrectanti-theftpin codeor used an incorrectprocedureat your first attempt,
your stereoscreenwiil exhibit the foilowing message
"2CDE". This meansyou needenterthe pin codea secondtime

to follow theseinstructionsand enter thecorrect pin code.
11.If the stereoscreenshow the message
'3 CDE", this meansyou failed to follow the correctinstructions or that you
enteredtheincorrectpin code.
12.If you fail to succeed to enter thecorrect pin codeat thethird attempt,your stereo will turn off.You will needto wait at
leastonehour beforeattempting to re-enterthe correctanti-theftsecuritypin code
number using theaboveprocedures
correctly.

Theonly time your stereowill identify themessage

If your car battery is in good order, your stereowill acceptyour anti-theft security pin code number using the above

display panel and the first 10seconds
of eachtrack on the discwill be
played in order.When a desiredtrack is reached,press
the INT button
again and play of that track will continue ("NT" will disappearfrom
thedisplaypanel).
TheTrackScan
mode alsobe cancelled
by activatingany other disc
function (Select, Cue,
Review,Random,or Repeat).
When the INT button is pressedand held longer than 2 secondsthe
"INT" mark will blink on theLCD paneland thefirst trackon each
disc
will be played. When a desired disc is reached,pressthe INT button
