INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the i-tec USB-C Docking Station that will let you
quickly and easily connect your favourite devices to a notebook, tablet,
PC, USB-C equipped smartphone using a single USB-C connector. It offers
2x DisplayPort, 1x HDMI, 1x Ethernet LAN, 1x USB-C 3.1 (Gen. 2), 3x USB-A 3.1
(Gen. 2), 1x Audio port and 1x external DC power input.
Important note:
In order to take full advantage of the docking station's potential, it is important
that the laptop's GPU supports DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC. If the laptop's GPU
supports DisplayPort 1.4 without DSC or DisplayPort 1.2, the docking station
will work, but will be limited in external monitor maximum resolutions. See the
section SPECIFICATION.
DSC - an abbreviation for Display Stream Compression - this is a compression
method that allows “visually lossless” video compression which allows to
transmit higher resolution.

Note for macOS: macOS does not support MST technology (2 or more monitors
in extended mode). None of the docking stations using the USB-C DisplayPort
Alt Mode supports a connection of two or more monitors in macOS, this can
only handle a Thunderbolt 3 docking station and a DisplayLink docking station.

Before plugging in the docking station, make sure you have the latest drivers
for your device and an updated BIOS installed.
CONNECTING A HDMI / DISPLAYPORT MONITOR
The docking station is equipped with 1x HDMI and 2x DisplayPort 4K port for
the connection of an external monitor or projector with a HDMI / DP interface.
Connect the monitor to the docking station using a high quality HDMI / DP
cable. During installation of an additional monitor the screen of the device can
flicker which is a standard condition
- 1 monitor connected via 2 DisplayPort cables - resolution up to 5K
5120x2880/60Hz.
5K resolution is only supported if your
laptop's USB-C/Thunderbolt™ 3 connector
supports DisplayPort 1.4 DSC.
- 1 monitor connected via DisplayPort/HDMI
cable - resolution up to 4K 3840x2160/60Hz.
4K/60Hz resolution is only supported
if your laptop's USB-C/Thunderbolt™ 3
connector supports DisplayPort 1.4 DSC or
DisplayPort 1.4 without DSC.
If the USB-C/Thunderbolt™ 3 only supports
DisplayPort 1.2, the maximum resolution is
4K 3840x2160/30Hz.

The resolution, the frame rate and the maximum number of connected external
monitors depends on the capabilities of the host PC/laptop.
The majority of problems with the docking station and the connected
peripheral devices can be solved by disconnecting the USB-C cable of the
docking station from the USB-C port of the PC / Mac / smartphone and
reconnecting after approximately 10 s.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not expose to extreme temperatures and air humidity.
• Use the device on flat surfaces – this will prevent it from slipping and
potentially causing damage to the product.
• Keep the user manual for future reference.
In co-operation with the service department:
• Check the functionality if the product receives any damage.
• Send the device back if it does not work in accordance with the user
manual.

haben, mit der Sie Ihre Lieblingsgeräte über einen einzigen USB-C-Anschluss

mit USB-C-Anschluss anschließen können. Es stehen 2x DisplayPort, 1x HDMI,

Wichtiger Hinweis:
Um vom vollen Potenzial der Dockingstation zu profitieren, muss die Grafikkarte
des Notebooks DisplayPort 1.4 mit DSC unterstützen.
Wenn die Grafikkarte des Notebooks DisplayPort 1.4 ohne DSC oder lediglich
DisplayPort 1.2 unterstützt, funktioniert die Dockingstation zwar, wird aber
hohe Auflösungen moderner Monitore ggf. nicht darstellen können. Mehr im

DSC – Abkürzung für Display Stream Compression - Dies ist eine
Komprimierungsmethode, die eine "visuell verlustfreie" Videokomprimierung
ermöglicht, dank derer eine höhere Auflösung übertragen werden kann.

ANSCHLUSS VON HDMI / DISPLAYPORT-BILDSCHIRM
Die Docking Station verfügt über 1x HDMI und 2x Display 4K Port für den
Anschluss eines externen Bildschirms oder Projektors mit HDMI / DP
Schnittstelle. Für den Anschluss des Bildschirms an die Docking Station ist
ein hochwertiges HDMI / DP-Kabel zu verwenden. Während der Installation
des Zusatzbildschirms kann das Display Ihres Gerätes blinken, was ein
Standardzustand ist.

Bildschirm des Notebooks ausgeschaltet ist. Dies ist eine Einschränkung der
Intel-Grafikkarte.
Die Höhe der Auflösung, Bildrate und maximale Anzahl der angeschlossenen
externen Monitore hängen von den Fähigkeiten des Host-PCs / Notebooks ab.
Der überwiegende Teil von Problemen mit der Docking Station und den
angeschlossenen Peripherien kann durch Trennung des USB-C Kabels der
Docking Station vom USB-C Port des PCs / Macs / Smartphones und seinen
wiederholten Anschluss nach ca. 10 Sekunden gelöst werden.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
• Extremen Temperaturen und Luftfeuchtigkeit nicht ausstellen.
• Gerät auf flachen Unterlagen nutzen – so vermeiden Sie Abrutschen und
Sturz auf den Boden.
• Bewahren Sie das Benutzerhandbuch für spätere Verwendung auf.
In Zusammenarbeit mit der Serviceabteilung:
• Überprüfen Sie die Funktionsfähigkeit nach einem Sturz ins Wasser oder
auf den Boden.
• Überprüfen Sie die Funktionsfähigkeit bei Bruch des Deckels.
• Reklamieren Sie das Gerät, wenn es nicht so funktioniert, wie im
Benutzerhandbuch beschrieben.

INTRODUCTION
Nous vous remercions d’avoir acheté la station d’accueil i-tec USB-C, qui vous
permet de connecter rapidement et facilement vos appareils préférés à un
ordinateur portable, une tablette, un ordinateur, un smartphone doté d’un port
USB-C via un seul connecteur USB-C. Elle offre 2x DisplayPort, 1x port HDMI, 1x
port Ethernet LAN, 1x port USB-C 3.1 (Gén. 2), 3x port USB-A 3.1 (Gén. 2), 1x port
audio et 1x entrée pour alimentation externe en CC.
Avis important:
Pour tirer pleinement parti du potentiel de la station d'accueil, il est important
que le processeur graphique de l'ordinateur portable prenne en charge la
fonction DisplayPort 1.4 avec DSC.
Si le processeur graphique du portable prend en charge DisplayPort 1.4 sans
DSC ou DisplayPort 1.2, la station d'accueil fonctionnera, mais sera limitée

AVERTISSEMENT!
Avant de brancher la station d'accueil, assurez-vous que vous avez les derniers
pilotes pour votre périphérique et qu'un BIOS mis à jour est installé.
CONNECTION D‘UN MONITEUR HDMI / DISPLAYPORT
La station d'accueil est équipée d'une interface HDMI et 2x DisplayPort 4K
permettant la connexion d'un moniteur externe ou d'un vidéoprojecteur
possédant une interface HDMI/DP. Connectez le moniteur à la station d'accueil à
l'aide d'un câble HDMI / DP. Lors de l'installation d'un moniteur supplémentaire,
l'écran du portable ou de la tablette peut scintiller, ce qui est normal.

Il est possible de résoudre la plupart des problèmes avec la station
d’accueil ainsi qu’avec des périphériques y branchés par l’intermédiaire
d’un débranchement du câble USB-C, appartenant à la station d’accueil, du
port USB-C de votre ordinateur de bureau (PC) / Mac / téléphone intelligent
/ tablette tactile. Dans la suite, veuillez attendre 10 secondes avant de le
brancher de nouveau, s’il vous plaît.

INTRODUCCIÓN
Gracias por la compra de la estación de acoplamiento i-tec USB-C Docking station,
que le permitirá conectar de forma sencilla y rápida sus dispositivos favoritos a su
ordenador portátil, tablet o teléfono inteligente provistos de puerto USB-C utilizando
un único conector USB-C. Ofrece 2 puertos DisplayPort, 1 puerto HDMI, 1 puerto
Ethernet LAN, 1 puerto USB-C 3.1. (Gen. 2 ) , 2 puertos USB-A 3.1 (Gen. 2), 1 puerto de
audio y 1 puerto de entrada de alimentación externa DC.
Advertencia importante:
A fin de que sea posible utilizar completamente todo el potencial de la estación de
acoplamiento, es importante que la GPU del ordenador portátil soporte DisplayPort
1.4 con DSC.
Si la GPU del ordenador portátil soporta DisplayPort 1.4 sin DSC, o DisplayPort 1.2,
la estación de acoplamiento funcionará, pero con la limitación de las resoluciones
máximas que tengan los monitores externos. Vea más detalles en la sección
DSC - abreviatura para Display Stream Compression - se trata de un método
de compresión que permite la compresión de vídeo "visualmente sin pérdidas",
posibilitando la transmisión de una mayor resolución.

CONEXIÓN DE LA PANTALLA HDMI/DP
El replicador de puertos es equipado con 1x puerto HDMI y 2x puertos DisplayPort
4K para conectar la pantalla externa, monitor o proyector con interfaz de HDMI/DP.
Para conectar su pantalla al replicador de puerto necesita un cable HDMI/DP de alta
calidad. Durante la instalación puede parpadear la pantalla de su dispositivo, este
estado es normal.
