Thank you for purchasing i3 International’s IP09CP PoE extender (sold in pairs). Use IP09CP as a point-to-point PoE (Power over
Ethernet) extender to power IP devices and to carry IP signal for distances of up to 984 feet (300 meters) using existing coaxial cable
infrastructure. Use with i3’s line of IP cameras and PoE switches and/or U12 NVR (built-in PoE).

FEATURES
• Signal extension up to 984 ft (300 m) over coaxial cable.
• Provides up to 90W power to a remote PoE device.
• Power source from either a PoE switch or an external power
adapter.
• Bandwidth up to 100Mbps.
• Supports full duplex and half duplex mode and Auto MDI/
MDI-X switching.
• Built-in 30kV ESD, 40A EFT, and 30A surge at RJ45 side.
• Note: Ax85 supports distances up to 328 ft (100 m) only.
Mode 1 (Auto Mode, default) is recommended for all IP
devices.

CONNECTORS
1. DC Power Connector. Connect to DC48~56V adapter if
connecting to a non-PoE switch.
2. Power LED Indication. Indicates device power status. See Table 1.
3. Status Indication. Indicates RJ45 mode. See Table 3.
4. Status Indication. Indicates BNC mode. See Table 4.
5. DIP Switch. Mode selector. See Tables 5, 6.
6. RJ45 Connector. Connect to the PoE IP device. See Table 7.
7. PoE LED Indication. Indicates PoE connection status. See Table 2.
8. BNC Connector. Connect to the second IP09CP device using the
RG59 cable, 984 ft (300 m) or less. The link speed is up to 100
Mbps.
