3.1 Installation
This section details how to set up the camera.
3.1.1 Drill the Mounting Location

3.1.4 Adjusting Camera Focus
Note:Thiscameracanbefocusedusingaservicemonitor.Attach
theservicemonitortotheBNCCable.Ifnomonitorisavailable
then focus must be performed by using an internet browser to
view the camera images.
1. Loosen the two screws on top of the sunshield and remove the
sunshield.
2.Rotatecameracovercounterclockwisetoexposethelens.

Note:Twodesiccantpacksarealreadyplacednearthelens.The

moisture.Makeadjustmentswithin30minutesorthedesiccantpack
may absorb too much moisture and become ineffective.
Desiccantpacksthathaveabsorbedtoomuchmoistureneedtobe
replaced or reactivated.
Whenlensadjustmentsarecomplete,reattachthecameracoverand
sunshield.

3.1.5 Using “Smart Focus” to Adjust Focus Smartly
Thisnetworkboxcameraprovides“SmartFocus”toobtaincorrect
focusonasubject,insteadofrequiringuserstoadjustfocus
manually.9viewzonesareprovided.Whenyouobtaincorrectfocus
oneachviewzone,thegreenlightwillbeturnedon.
1.Directlyconnectthevideooutputcabletoyourmonitor.
2. Press the reset button until the power is on.
3.Theninezoneswillappearinyourmonitor.Adjustthelens
focus and symbols will be displayed on the top left corner of
eachzone.
•Thegreenlight:itmeanseachviewzone’sbestfocus
position.
•Theredarrow:itmeansitisnearthebestfocusposition.You
justneedtone-tuneit.

3.4 Connecting the Camera to a Personal Computer
This section details how to access the camera from a computer.
3.4.1 Setting IP
ThenetworkcameraisdesignedtobeusedonanEthernet
network.ThecameraissettousethedefaultIPaddressof
192.0.0.16.IfyournetworksupportsDHCP,youwillneedtoenable
thisfeaturefromthecameranetworksettings.
3.4.2 Connect the Camera to a Personal Computer
1.Connectthenetworkcabletothecameraandthenturnonthe
camera’s power.
2.Toconnecttothecamera,thePCneedstobeonthesameIP
addressrangeasthecamera(ie.ifthecamerais192.0.0.16then
thePCcouldbe192.0.0.10)thelastdigitsonthePCIPaddress
needs to be different from the last digits on the cameras IP
address.

3.TomakesurecanconnecttothecamerawithyourPC,pingtheIP
addressyouset.OpencommandpromptandtypetheIPaddress
youset.Ifthemessageof“Replyfrom…”appears,itmeans
communication is established.
4. Start a browser and enter the IP address: http://192.0.0.16, a
pop-upwindowwillappearandwillrequireyoutologin.Enterthe
default user name: admin and password: 1234 to login.
5. Please install the ActiveX viewer that is required to monitor H.264,
MPEG4andM-JPEGvideomodes.
6. Images of the camera can be viewed through your web browser IE
V.6.0&up.Beforeviewing,youhavetofollowthestepsbelow.

3.5 Using “Annexxus Finder” to Search Camera’s IP Address
“AnnexxusFinder”isaprogramwhichhelpsusersndsnetwork
cameras. Please note:“AnnexxusFinder”isonlycompatiblewith
Windows XP.
1.InserttheCDintheCD-ROMdrive.
2.Doubleclick“AnnexxusFinder.exe”toruntheprogram.Followthe
instructions to install.
3.Aftersuccessfullyinstalling“AnnexxusFinder”,doubleclickthe
“AnnexxusFinder”iconwhichisdisplayedinyourdesktop.An
“AnnexxusFinder”windowwillpopout.Thewindowwilldisplaya
list of net cameras which you are using currently.

To edit user accounts for the selected IP camera, do the
following:
1. Select desired camera in the Annexxus Finder software by
doubleclicks
2.GototheChangeIPAddressandenterthecorrectdataforthe
IP camera
3.ThereisNOneedforInputPassword.ItisONLYpertainingto
upgradingrmware
4. Live View
Live view is designed for general users to control the camera. “ Video
Format”,“Snapshot”,“RecordingLED”,“Live”and“Setup”functions
are listed on the live view. Please note, only administrators can
access“Setup”tocongurecamerasettings.
4.1 Video Format
Select a resolution type for live view.

The“Snapshot”functionisforsnapshotcapture.Pressthe
“Snapshot”buttontotakeapicturewhichwillbeautomatically
savedintoanautomaticallycreatedC:\DocumentandSettings\
