Hardware Setup
1.0 From the product box, find and attach the WiFi Antenna to
the rear of the monitor. This should be done by gently screwing
clockwise until a firm fit is achieved. The WiFi Antenna can be
gently rotated until it is pointing upwards (towards the sky).
1.1 If you want to mount your iBCam on a wall (ideal for maximum viewing angles), find
the wall mounting hardware kit in the product box (Wall Mounting Bracket & Screw Kit)
and have a competent person install this. Otherwise, if you just want to sit the SP6
Monitor on a flat surface, continue to the next step.
DOCVER 2.00
1.2 Locate the Power Adapter, the USB Cable and Temperature & Humidity Sensor in
your product box. Connect one side of the USB Cable to the Temperature & Humidity
Sensor and then connect the other side to the Power Adapter. Connect the Temperature
& Humidity Sensor to the SP6 Monitor and the Power Adapter to a Mains Socket.
Download the App
2.0 The App needed for the SP6 Monitor can be downloaded from Apple App Store (for
iOS devices e.g. iPhone, iPad) or Google Play Store (for Android devices) and is called:
‘Securipro SP6’
Connection Types
3.0 Although the device is WiFi Capable (2.4GHz WiFi Routers only), for best results, a
wired Network Cable connection is always recommended for a faster, smoother and
more secure connection due to it not being as susceptible to interference as WiFi can be.
3.1 WiFi - If using a WiFi connection, your router should ideally be in a room above
where the SP6 Monitor will be used and within 20 feet of it (this may be affected by walls
and other electrical interference).
3.2 Network Cable - If using a Network Cable connection, you may use the short one
supplied. Alternatively, longer lengths of Network Cable can be bought from most good
computer outlets. There are also many helpful low cost alternatives that can create a fast
and neat wired equivalent solution without wires running around the building e.g.
Powerline Plugs that use your mains power supply for the network signal (sold at most
good computer outlets or contact your retailer for further information).

Method 2: Via the WPS Button (No Network Cable attached to SP6 Monitor)
1. Press the WPS Button on your router (called QSS on TP-Link Products) –
see your router instruction manual on how to do this although it is
usually pressed for several seconds to enter this mode and is usually
active for a short number of seconds before it deactivates.
2. Press the WPS Button on the rear of the SP6 Monitor for around 8
seconds and release it –the LED Status Light will go solid blue to indicate
it has entered WPS mode. This mode is only active for around 60
seconds.
3. Allow up to a minute or so for pairing to occur. Upon successful WiFi
pairing of the SP6 Monitor and your WiFi Router, the SP6 Monitor will
have its LED Status Indicator start flashing blue to indicate it is
connected to the WiFi network.
4. Open the ‘Securipro SP6’ App
5. Go to ‘Add an On-Line Camera’
6. Follow the on screen instructions
7. A successfully added Monitor will then be indicated and should show in
‘My iBCam’.
8. It is recommend to change the default password ‘000000’ (six zeroes)
after setup is complete through ‘Settings’ (cogwheel icon).

WiFi Setup (2.4GHz Routers only)
There are 4 methods for achieving a WiFi Connection, to the SP6 Monitor with
your WiFi Router. Method 1 should always be tried first and others can be
tried if needed. Please note the SP6 only works with 2.4GHz WiFi Routers:
For initial setup, ensure the SP6 Monitor is within relatively close range of the
wireless router (within 5 meters) and having followed previous instructions
(no network cable attached), power the unit on. Within around a minute, the
monitor should initialise by moving around (panning and tilting) and a red LED
light should start flashing at the rear of the unit. After around a minute, you
may use any of the following methods for WiFi Setup:
Useful tip: The Monitor stores your WiFi Information unless reset. You may
restart any of the Methods by resetting the monitor (press reset button on
base of monitor for several seconds until it reinitialises) and delete any added
Monitors from the Securipro SP6 App by going to ‘My iBCam’, swiping left on
any of the Monitors listed and selecting ‘delete’.
Method 1: Through the App (No Network Cable attached to SP6 Monitor)
Open the ‘Securipro SP6’ App
1. Go to ‘Add Camera’ and then to ‘Add a New iBCam’
2. Follow the on screen instructions. Be especially careful to enter the
correct WiFi Password else the process will fail.
3. A successfully added Monitor will then be indicated and should show in
‘My iBCam’.
4. As Android setup is slightly different to iOS, if Android does not setup
correctly the first time, simply press ‘back’ button and attempt to repeat.
5. It is recommend to change the default password ‘000000’ (six zeroes)
after setup is complete through ‘Settings’ (cogwheel icon).
Method 3: Through the App

Monitor e.g. IB_xxxxxxxxxxxxx (where x is a mix of characters).
2. Open the ‘Securipro SP6’ App
3. Go to ‘Add Camera’ and ‘Add an On-Line Camera’
4. Follow the on screen instructions
5. A successfully added Monitor will then be indicated and should show in
‘My iBCam’.
6. From ‘My iBCam’ click on the ‘Setting’ button (top right, Cogwheel) and
go to WiFi.
7. Allow the SP6 Monitor and App to scan for WiFi Networks (should show
if found within a minute or so)
8. Select your WiFi Network from the list that appears and enter your
password.
9. If successfully connected, a message will appear to confirm this.
10. It is recommend to change the default password ‘000000’ (six zeroes)
after setup is complete through ‘Settings’ (cogwheel icon).
Method 4: Through the Web Interface (for Advanced Users)
Notice: Please do not change any other settings unless advised to do so
1. Connect the Network Cable to the rear of the SP6 Monitor and the other
side of the cable to a free Network Port on your Router. Activity lights on
the Network Port of the Monitor should start to flicker.
2. Find the SP6 Monitor’s IP Address using an IP Address Finding Tool:
a. There is a SearchIPCam tool at ibcamsecuripro.com (support)
b. An App called ‘Fing’ is available for iOS/Android
c. An App called ‘IP Scanner’ is available for Apple Mac
3. Look for the address where the name reads ‘IP Camera’ and copy and
enter this into a device with a Web Browser that is connected to the
same WiFi network.
4. At the login screen, enter the Username and Password as ‘admin’ and
login. You may be prompted to install a plugin, allow this.
5. Go to Setting > Network Setup > Wireless LAN and click on ‘Search’
6. Click on the desired WiFi Network, enter the password (key) and click
‘Save’.
7. Remove the Network Cable, restart the Monitor and if the WiFi details
are correct and successfully saved, the LED Status Light should start
blinking blue shortly. If the LED Status Light remains flashing red, you
may reattempt the process.
8. If the LED Status Light shows a blinking blue status, it is successfully
connected to your WiFi Network.
9. Open the ‘Securipro SP6’ App
10. Go to ‘Add Camera’ and ‘Add an On-Line Camera’
11. Follow the on screen instructions
12. A successfully added Monitor will then be indicated and should show in
‘My iBCam’.
13. It is recommend to change the default password ‘000000’ (six zeroes)
after setup is complete through ‘Settings’ (cogwheel icon).

Adding the Monitor to additional
Smart Devices
To add any additional iOS/Android devices to the Monitor, this can be
achieved as follows:
1. Open the ‘Securipro SP6’ App
2. Go to ‘Add Camera’ and ‘Add an On-Line Camera’
3. Follow the on screen instructions
4. A successfully added Monitor will then be indicated and should show in
‘My iBCam’.
Security
The App password should always be changed from its default of ‘000000’ (six
zeroes) through the App Settings (cogwheel icon).
Further helpful tips:
1. Having an up-to-date internet router with firewall protection is
recommended.
2. A Network Cable connection is typically more secure than a WiFi
connection and is generally recommended for both security and performance.
3. You may also wish to change the web interface password by accessing it by
following instructions for ‘WiFi Setup’ and using ‘Method 4’, following
instructions 1-4 and then going to ‘Device’ > ‘Users’ and changing the
password next to ‘Super Admin’ and clicking ‘save’. You may re-login if you
wish with this new password.

Network Cable Setup
This is the recommended option to get the best network performance from
the Monitor for security, reliability and ease of setup.
The Monitor may be connected using the supplied short Network Cable or
longer versions can be purchased from most good computer outlets. Similarly,
for neater/convenient wired equivalent solutions, you may use Powerline
Plugs (available at most good computer outlets).
1. Connect the Network Cable to the Monitor’s network port and the other
end to a free network port on your Router. Activity lights should start to
flicker on the Monitor.
2. Open the ‘Securipro SP6’ App
3. Go to ‘Add Camera’ and ‘Add an On-Line Camera’
4. Follow the on screen instructions
5. A successfully added Monitor will then be indicated and should show in
‘My iBCam’.
11
Using the Memory Card
The Memory Card is designed to store Events i.e. Photos from when Alerts are
triggered e.g. Motion, Sound or Temperature/Humidity changes.
The Monitor has been tested up to 32GB although a smaller Memory Card will
be effective for most users.
To use:
1. Insert Memory Card upside down (gold contacts facing upwards) into
rear of camera into slot marked ‘TF’ until you hear it click into place. Do
not force the Memory Card.
2. Restart the Monitor by powering it off and on or via the App in the
settings menu (cogwheel).
Troubleshooting
1. ‘Video stream not smooth’
Make sure Video Quality is set to Medium or lower if necessary. Switching to a
Network Cable connection should provide the best performance overall.
If WiFi is your only choice, ideally a Router should always be at the highest
point in the building.
Also try exiting and closing the App and restarting it.
2. ‘I have lost my App password’
Your default password is ‘000000’ (six zeroes), try this otherwise reset the
Monitor from the base and setup the Monitor from the start.
3. ‘Monitor gets warm during use’
Some amount of heat will be generated from the internal electronics. Always
make sure the monitor is in a well ventilated place and away from any fire
hazards.
4. ‘I have tried several methods of connecting to the camera via WiFi (shows
red light/fails setup) and Network Cable, neither methods work’
Check that when searching for the Monitor via WiFi that its WiFi name shows
as ‘IB_xxxxxxxxxxx) where ‘x’ is a mix of numbers and digits. If part of the code
is missing and shows as ‘IB_viewaccount’, this indicates an error that can be
easily corrected . Try the following steps if you are able to otherwise you may
contact us for additional support.

a. Follow ‘WiFi Setup’ and ‘Method 4’ to access the Web Interface.
b. Here go to ‘Network Setup’ > ‘P2P Settings’
c. Under P2P-1 for:
GUID: (ENTER THE UID EXACTLY AS SHOWN ON THE BASE OF MONITOR OR IN
MY IBCAM)
USERNAME: admin (lower case)
PASSWORD: 000000 (six zeroes)
Click ‘Save’ and then reset the Monitor from the base and then setup the
Monitor from the start. Using a Network Cable connection can help prevent
such errors from repeating easily. See ‘Network Cable Setup’.
5. I hear a clicking sound from the Monitor sometimes
This may be the Night Vision IR-Cut switch activating/deactivating. This can be
observed by having the room dark momentarily and then light again.
