2. INFORMACIÓN GENERAL Y SEGURIDAD
• Manipular cuidadosamente.
• Comprobar la “Lista de embalaje”. Si se observa algún componente dañado, avisar
rápidamente al distribuidor.
• No instalar ni utilizar el equipo sin leer previamente este manual que forma parte
inseparable del equipo y debe estar disponibles a sus usuarios.
• Consultar cualquier duda al servicio técnico de ICC.
• No utilizar el equipo en atmósferas explosivas, inamables ni corrosivas.
2.1 Cualicación del personal
Este equipo sólo puede ser utilizado por personal cualicado que ha leído y comprendido
estas instrucciones o ha sido cualicado para el uso de este equipo.
2.2 Utilización con sustancias peligrosas
No utilice con materiales inamables o explosivos o que reaccionen químicamente con
violencia.
3. DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EQUIPO
Los termostatos de inmersión RONER se utilizan en la cocción de alimentos y en el calen-
tamiento de los baños.
Estos equipos incorporan una bomba de circulación que permite regular la temperatura con
precisión y estabilidad y mejorar la homogeneidad dentro del baño.
Aplicaciones a nivel culinario:
- Cocciones de productos previamente envasados al vacío (carnes, pescados, aves, verduras,
terrinas, patés, mermeladas, conservas, aceites aromáticos, etc...) a temperatura controlada
con máxima precisión.
- Se realizan cocciones directas e indirectas.
- Pasteurización (85ºC) de elaboraciones cocinadas con técnicas tradicionales.
- Regeneración térmica de elaboraciones acabadas y envasadas al vacío.
- Ideal como baño maría para calentar con control absoluto elaboraciones listas o que no
puedan exceder de cierta temperatura, por ejemplo, la mayonesa caliente de sifón.
- Al cocinar bajo vacío se trabaja a baja temperatura y con mucha precisión, 58ºC, 62,5ºC,
etc... consiguiendo así ternura y jugosidad.
4. LISTA DE EMBALAJE

5. INSTALACIÓN Y MONTAJE
Una vez desembalado el equipo, compruebe visualmente que está en buen estado. Conserve
el embalaje original durante unos días.
5.1 Cubeta
Este equipo necesita una cubeta o un recipiente para funcionar. Consulte el catálogo de ICC.
Nuestra cubeta está construida con un aislamiento térmico de gran capacidad, 0.034W/mC,
de 40mm de espesor que permite una mayor estabilidad y conservación de la temperatura.
Fije el termostato en la cubeta mediante la abrazadera de jación. Asegúrese de que el
equipo queda bien jado.
Sitúe el equipo y su cubeta en una supercie plana, nivelada, estable y adecuada al peso
del equipo.
5.2 Conexión a la red eléctrica
Escoja una toma de corriente cercana al equipo y adecuada a la potencia de este. Utilice
el cable de conexión suministrado.
Para su seguridad, la toma de corriente debe tener conexión a tierra.
Antes de enchufar, verique que la tensión y frecuencia de la red eléctrica corresponde a
la indicada en la etiqueta de características del equipo.

6. PUESTA EN MARCHA
6.1 Panel de mandos
1. Tecla de Paro / Inicio ciclo

6.2 Puesta en marcha
1. Con el equipo instalado en la cubeta, llenar de agua hasta cubrir la bomba por
completo.
2. Accionar el interruptor de puesta en marcha, se iluminará la pantalla y la bomba
empezará a funcionar.
3. Pulsar las teclas (3/2) hasta seleccionar el valor deseado de temperatura en el
visualizador verde (el de arriba).
4. Pulsar la tecla (4) si desea seleccionar un tiempo de funcionamiento
5. Pulsar la tecla (1) para iniciar el ciclo.
6. El tiempo de cuenta atrás empezará a contar en cuanto se alcance la tempe-
ratura de consigna.
7. El símbolo de calefacción se iluminará y parpadeará.
8. Pulsar de nuevo la tecla (1) para detener el proceso. Nota: durante el funciona-
miento se puede variar el valor de ajuste de temperatura o de tiempo.
9. Cuando se haya agotado el tiempo, se emitirá un pitido y la resistencia dejará
de calentar.
OBSERVACIONES:
* Al utilizar la función de tiempo, el visualizador verde (el de arriba) indicará el
tiempo restante. Si desea ver el valor objetivo de temperatura, pulse la tecla
(4) .
6.3 Termostato de seguridad
El equipo dispone de un elemento de seguridad para evitar sobrecalentamiento.
En caso que el termostato se dispare, pulse el botón trasero para rearmar el dis-
positivo.

7. MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA
MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de manipular en su interior, desconecte el equipo de la toma de red.
La manipulación de los circuitos electrónicos por personal no autorizado puede
provocar daños de difícil reparación. Consulte al servicio técnico autorizado de
ICC.
LIMPIEZA
Para la limpieza de las partes accesibles del equipo, utilice limpiacristales o un producto
similar. No utilice disolventes agresivos. Para eliminar la cal, puede utilizar vinagre rebajado.
8. ESPECIFICACIONES TÉCNICAS
6.4 Dirección de la bomba de circulación
La bomba de circulación de agua puede trabajar en dos conguraciones:
- Circulación INTERNA: El agua sale de la bomba por el tubo horizontal (Ver g 6.4.1).
Con esta conguración se consigue una buena homogeneización de la temperatura en
el líquido de la cubeta.
- Circulación EXTERNA: El agua sale de la bomba por el tubo vertical (Ver g 6.4.2).
Esta conguración permite el envío de líquido a un circuito de circulación exterior para
atemperar, refrigerar, etc... un equipo externo.

9.1 Rearme por sobretemperatura
El equipo dispone de un dispositivo de seguridad independiente para evitar que el elemento
calefactor suba de temperatura sin control, por ejemplo si se quedase sin agua.
En este caso, el mecanismo desconecta la potencia de la resistencia y, una vez enfriado, se
debe rearmar para poder seguir utilizando el equipo.
Pulse el botón rearme situado en la parte posterior del equipo.
9.2 Calibrado de la lectura de temperatura «Offset»
Se puede ajustar el offset (A) y la unidad ºC/ºF (B).
A. Ajustar la corrección de lectura de sonda (offset)
Pulsar las teclas (2) y (3) a la vez y de forma continuada (unos 5 segundos). Apa-
recerá el mensaje OFFs.
Ajustar con las teclas (2)/(3), el valor real de lectura de temperatura. Pulsar la tecla
(1) para conrmar.
B. Unidad de presentación ºC/ºF
Pulsar las teclas (2) y (3) a la vez y de forma continuada (unos 5 segundos). Apa-
recerá el mensaje OFFs.
Pulsar la tecla (4). Aparecerá el mensaje Unit. Mediante las teclas (2)/(3), seleccionar
la unidad ºC/ºF. Conrmar con la tecla (1).
10. GARANTÍA
Este producto tiene una garantía de un año. La garantía no cubre los daños causados por
un uso indebido o por causas ajenas a ICC.
Cualquier manipulación del equipo por personal no autorizado anula los benecios de la
garantía.

SENS Sonda de temperatura abierta. El control no detecta la sonda de tempe-
ratura.
HEAT La resistencia no funciona. El equipo detecta que la temperatura no se
incrementa.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION
• Handle the parcel with care.
• Check that contents coincide with the packing-list. If any part is damaged or missing,
please advise the distributors immediately.
• Do not install or use the equipment without reading this handbook rst. This instruction
manual must be attached to the equipment and must be available for all users.
• If you have any doubts or enquiries, contact with ICC’s technical service.
• Do not use the equipment in explosive, ammable or corrosive atmospheres.
2.1 Staff qualication
This equipment may only be used by properly trained personnel who have read and un-
derstand these instructions or have been properly trained in this equipment operation.
2.2 Use with hazardous substances
Do not treat ammable or explosive materials or those which chemically react with violence.
3. EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
The RONER immersion thermostats are widely used for cooking and heating baths.
The unit includes a water circulation pump that allows an accurate temperature regulation
and stability and improves homogeneity into the bath.
Culinary level applications:
- Cooking products previously vacuum packed (meat, sh, poultry, vegetables, terrines,
pates, jams, preserves, aromatic oils, etc ...) at a controlled temperature with maximum
precision and set time.
- Direct and indirect cookings are performed.
- Pasteurization (85°C) of food products cooked with traditional techniques.
- Thermal regeneration of nished food products cooked and vacuum packed.
- Ideal as a bath for heating ready food products with absolute control or those that cannot
exceed a certain temperature, for example, hot siphon mayonnaise.
- When cooking under vacuum one works at a low temperature and with high precision,
58C, 62,5ºC, etc ... thus achieving tenderness and juiciness.

5. INSTALLATION & ASSEMBLY
Unpack the equipment and visually check that the contents are in good conditions. Keep
the package for some days.
5.1 Liquid tank
A bucket or tank will be needed for the thermostat to operate. See ICC’s product range on
the catalogue. Our tank is made with a thermal insulation of large capacity 0.034W / mC,
40mm thick which allows for a greater stability and preservation of temperature.
Set the thermostat in the tank by a screw. Make sure that the equipment is properly secured.
Place the equipment and the tank on a at level stable surface, suitable for the equipment
weight.
5.2 Connection to the mains
Plug the equipment to a near socket suitable for the equipment power. Use the connection
cable supplied or a similar one.
For your safety, the equipment must be earthed.
Before plugging the equipment, check that the voltage supply and the frequency match to
the one indicated in the equipment plate.

6. STARTING UP
6.1 Control panel
1. Stop / Start cycle Key

4. Adjustment (change between temperature / time) .
6.2 Starting up
1. With the equipment installed in the bucket, ll it with water to cover the pump
completely.
2. Press the start key, the display will light up and the pump will start to run.
3. Press the Up/Down keys (3/2) until the desired temperature value is selected
in the green display (the above one).
4. Press key (4) if you want to select an operating time.
5. Press key (1) to start the cycle.
6. The countdown time will start counting as soon as the set temperature will be
reached.
7. The heating symbol will light up and ash.
8. Press key (1) again to stop the process. Note: during operation, temperature or
time adjustment value can be changed.
9. When the time has expired, a beep will sound and the heating-element will stop
heating.
REMARKS:
* When using the time function, the green display (the above one) will indicate
the remaining time. If you want to see the target temperature value, press key
(4) .
6.3 Safety thermostat
The equipment has a safety element to prevent overheating.
In case the thermostat triggers, press the rear button to reset the device.

7. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
MAINTENANCE:
Before operating inside, disconnect from the mains.
The manipulation of the equipment internal electronic circuits by unauthorized
personnel can cause irreparable damage. Take it to one of ICC’s authorized
technical services.
CLEANING:
To clean the accessible parts of the equipment, use a cleaner or a similar product.
Do not use aggressive solvents. To remove lime, you can use vinegar a bit lowered.

6.4 Circulation pump directions
The water circulation pump could operate in two conguration modes:
- INTERNAL circulation:
Water will be pumped from horizontal pump output (See g 6.4.1).
Use this conguration to made water circulation into the bath vessel in order to homo-
genize the temperature from sample load.
- EXTERNAL circulation:
Water will be pumped from vertical pump output (See g 6.4.2).
Use this conguration to made water circulation out of the bath vessel in order to tem-
perate an external equipment.

9.1 Reset for overtemperature
The equipment has a separate safety device to prevent that the heating element tem-
perature rises uncontrolled, for example, when it runs out of water.
In that case, the mechanism disconnects the heating element power and, once cooled,
it must be reset in order to continue using the computer.
Press the reset button on the back side of the computer.
9.2 Setting the «Offset» temperature reading
The offset (A) and the ºC/ºF unit (B) can be adjusted.
A. Adjust the probe reading correction (offset)
Press keys (2) and (3) continuously and at the same time (about 5 seconds).
The OFFs message will appear.
Use keys (2) / (3) to set the actual temperature reading value. Press key (1)
to conrm.
B. Presentation unit: ºC / ºF
Press keys (2) and (3) continuously and at the same time (about 5 seconds).
The OFFs message will appear.
Press the key (4). The message Unit will appear. Using keys (2) / (3), select the
unit: ºC / ºF. Conrm with key (1).
10. WARRANTY
This product is guaranteed for one year. It does not cover damages caused by an incorrect
use or causes beyond the control of ICC.
Any manipulation of the equipment by personnel not authorized by ICC automatically
cancels the guarantee.

9. ERROR MESSAGES & TROUBLESHOOTING
P.FAIL Power failure. The equipment continues with the process.
Err will appear in green on the top line of the display.
(Note: if you turn off the device without pressing STOP, this error will appear when
the device is restarted)
TSEG The safety thermostat is open.
SENS Open temperature probe.
The control does not detect the temperature probe.
HEAT The resistance does not work.
The equipment detects that the temperature does not increase.
