NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the
limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC
Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a
commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can
radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference
to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential
area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be
required to correct the interference at his own expense.
Canadian Radio Interference Regulations
This digital apparatus does not exceed the Class A limits for radio
noise emissions from digital apparatus set out in the Radio
Interference Regulations of the Canadian Department of
Communications.

Safety
Every effort has been made to ensure that the 360 scanner is totally
safe to use. The scanner is designed to comply with the stringent
safety requirements of EN60 950: “Safety of information technology
equipment including electrical business equipment”. All users should,
however, note the following:
Mains Power Supply
•The scanner must be connected to the correct voltage supply (as
indicated on the rating label) and using the power cable supplied
only.
•The scanner must be earthed.
Handling
•The 360 scanner unit weighs 100 kg (220 lb). A minimum of two
persons are needed for unpacking, lifting or moving the unit.
•Do not tilt the scanner more than 10° from the vertical.
•When moving the scanner more than a short distance, a suitable
trolley must be used.
Covers
There are no user serviceable parts within the fixed covers. No
attempt should be made to remove them.
Interlocks
The drum access door is locked during scanning to protect the user
from the moving parts. Do not attempt to override the interlocks for
any reason.
Stopping the Scanner
If an original becomes dislodged during a scan or it is necessary to
stop the scanner quickly for any other reason:
•Press the door lock button on the right-hand side of the
scanner.

Alternatively:
•Switch off the scanner using the power on/off switch on its
left-hand side.
Changing the Lamp
The illumination lamp runs at a high temperature. Before attempting to
change the lamp, switch off the scanner and allow at least 5 minutes
cooling time.

Sécurité
Tout a été mis en oeuvre pour veiller à ce que l'utilisation du scanner
360 ne présente aucun danger. Le scanner est étudié pour satisfaire
aux obligations de sécurité très strictes exigées par la norme
EN60 950: "Sécurité du matériel informatique y compris le matériel de
bureautique". Toutefois, les utilisateurs sont priés de prendre note
des points suivants:
Alimentation secteur
• Le scanner doit être relié à une tension d'alimentation correcte (telle
qu'elle figure sur l'étiquette de tension nominale) et ne doit être
utilisé qu'avec le câble d'alimentation fourni.
•Le scanner doit être mis à la terre.
Manutention
•Le scanner 360 pèse 100 kg. Il faut prévoir au moins deux
personnes pour déballer, soulever ou déplacer l'appareil.
•Ne pas incliner le scanner de plus de 10° par rapport à la
verticale.
•Si le scanner doit être déplacé sur plus qu'une courte distance, il
convient de prévoir un chariot.
Capots
Il n'existe aucune pièce susceptible de faire l'objet d'un entretien par
l'utilisateur sous les capots fixes. Par conséquent, ne pas tenter de

les enlever.
Verrouillage de Sécurité
La porte d'accès au tambour est verrouillée lors de l'opération de
balayage afin de protéger l'utilisateur contre les pièces mobiles. Ne
pas tenter d'outrepasser les verrouillages de sécurité, pour
quelque motif que ce soit.
Arrêt du Scanner
Si un original glisse en cours de balayage ou s'il est nécessaire
d'arrêter d'urgence le scanner pour un motif quelconque:
•Appuyer sur le bouton qui se trouve sur le cöte droit du
scanner.
ou bien:
•Mettre le scanner hors tension à l'aide de l'interrupteur
marche/arrêt situé sur la gauche de l'appareil.
Remplacement de la Lampe
La lampe d'éclairage fonctionne à très haute température. Avant
d'essayer de remplacer la lampe, mettre le scanner hors tension et
le laisser refroidir pendant au moins 5 minutes.

Sicherheit
Der Scanner 360 wurde so konstruiert, daß größtmögliche
Betriebssicherheit gewährleistet werden kann. Die Maschine erfüllt die
strengen Sicherheitsanforderungen der EN 60 950 („Sicherheit von
Einrichtungen der Informationstechnik einschließlich elektrischer
Büromaschinen“). Trotzdem sollten für den Einsatz der Maschine die
folgenden Hinweise beachtet werden.
Stromversorgung
•Der Scanner ist an eine Stromquelle mit der vorgeschriebenen
Spannung anzuschließen. (Die Betriebsspannung ist dem
Aufkleber auf der Maschine zu entnehmen.) Zum Anschließen muß
das mitgelieferte Netzkabel verwendet werden.

•Der Scanner muß ordnungsgemäß geerdet sein.
Handhabung
•Der Scanner 360 wiegt 100 kg. Zum Auspacken, Heben und
Bewegen der Maschine werden mindestens zwei Personen
benötigt.
•Der Scanner darf höchstens um 10° aus der Vertikale gekippt
werden.
•Zum Transportieren (außer über kurze Strecken) muß ein
geeigneter Wagen verwendet werden.
Gehäuse
Maschinenteile, die wegen fest montierter Gehäuseelemente nicht
zugänglich sind, können vom Benutzer nicht gewartet werden. Diese
Gehäuseteile dürfen nicht abgenommen werden.
Verriegelungen
Die Zugangstür zur Scanner-Trommel ist während des Scan-Vorgangs
verriegelt. Diese Verriegelung soll den Benutzer vor Verletzungen
durch bewegliche Teile schützen und darf nicht aufgehoben werden.
Anhalten des Scanners
Wenn eine Vorlage beim Scannen verrutscht oder der Scanner aus
einem sonstigen Grund sofort angehalten werden muß,
•betätigen Sie die Taste auf der Rechteseite der Maschine,
oder
•schalten Sie den Scanner mit dem Ein/Aus-Schalter links an
der Maschine aus.
Wechseln der Lampe
Die Lampe wird sehr heiß. Vor dem Wechseln der Lampe muß der
Scanner ausgeschaltet werden und mindestens 5 Minuten abkühlen.

Si è compiuto ogni sforzo per assicurare la massima sicurezza
d'usodello scanner 360. Quest'ultimo è stato studiato per essere
conforme ai severi requisiti di sicurezza della norma EN60 950:
"Sicurezza degli apparecchi di tecnologia dell'informazione compresa
l'apparecchiatura elettrica d'ufficio". Tutti gli utenti devono tuttavia
prendere nota delle informazioni riportate qui di seguito.
Alimentazione di rete
• Lo scanner deve essere collegato alla corretta tensione di
alimentazione (secondo il valore nominale di tensione riportato
sull'etichetta) ed è importante usare solo il cordone di alimentazione
fornito in dotazione.
•Lo scanner deve essere collegato a massa.
Come maneggiare lo scanner
•Lo scanner 360 pesa 100 kg (220 libbre). Per disimballare, sollevare
o spostare l'unità occorrono due persone.
•Non inclinare lo scanner di oltre 10º dalla sua posizione
verticale.
•Quando si deve spostare lo scanner per lunghe distanze, è
necessario usare un carrello adatto.
Coperture
Non vi sono parti che possono essere mantenute dall'utente all'interno
delle coperture fissate all'unità. Non si deve quindi cercare in
nessun modo di asportarle.
Dispositivi automatici di sicurezza
Durante la scansione, la porta di accesso al tamburo è bloccata per
proteggere l'utente dalle parti in movimento. Non cercare di
annullare l'azione dei dispositivi automatici di sicurezza per
nessun motivo.
Come arrestare lo scanner
Se, durante la scansione, un originale dovesse andare fuori posto o se
fosse necessario arrestare velocemente lo scanner per un qualsiasi
altro motivo, sarà possibile:
•premere il tasto sul lato destro dello scanner.
oppure

• spegnere lo scanner usando il pulsante di
accensione/spegnimento situato sul lato sinistro dello
scanner.
Come cambiare la lampada
Poiché la lampada di illuminazione funziona a temperature elevate,
prima di sostituirla, sarà necessario spegnere lo scanner e lasciarlo
raffreddare per almeno 5 minuti.

Seguridad
Se han tomado todas las medidas posibles para asegurar que el
escáner 360 se pueda utilizar con absoluta seguridad. El escáner está
diseñado según las estrictas normas de seguridad EN60 950:
"Seguridad de equipo de tecnología de información, incluyendo el
equipo comercial eléctrico". Sin embargo, todos los usuarios deben
tomar nota de lo siguiente:
Red eléctrica
•El escáner debe conectarse a una red eléctrica de voltaje correcto
(según se indica en la etiqueta de la tensión nominal) y solamente
debe utilizarse el cable eléctrico suministrado.
•El escáner debe estar conectado a tierra.
Manipulación
• El escáner 360 pesa 100 kg (220 lb). Para desembalar, levantar o
transportar la unidad se necesitan dos personas como mínimo.
•No incline el escáner a más de 10° de la vertical.
•Cuando se traslade el escáner a una distancia que no sea muy
corta, se debe utilizar un carrito adecuado.
Cubiertas
Dentro de las cubiertas fijas no hay ninguna pieza reparable o
mantenible por el usuario. No se debe tratar de retirarlas.
Cierres de seguridad
La puerta de acceso al cilindro está cerrada durante la exploración a fin
de proteger al usuario de las partes móviles. No trate de anular los
cierres de seguridad por ninguna razón.
