vacuum tube preamp. We sincerely trust this product will provide years of satisfactory service,

MIDI I/O connectors
This is unbalanced MIC level input for dynamic microphone with individual
gain control knob.
This is high impedance input for guitar/bass with individual gain control knob.
Receives return signals from external devices such as effectors.
Connects to external devices such as effectors.
Adjusts the saturation value of the vacuum tube.
Direct output monitoring. The guitar signal is routed directly to output
L/R and HP/2.
This potentiometer controls the master output level of the analog outputs.
The potentiometers control the output level of the corresponding headphone
outputs & 2.
The output jacks accept a standard /4 stereo TRS headphone connector.
These are unbalanced analog outputs on standard /4 TS connectors at
+6dBU line level.
MIDI input and output on standard 5-pin DIN connectors.

Mac driver installation
Please follow the step-by-step procedures below to install your V-gig USB
recording interface and its driver.
(Note:Pleasemakesure you haveconnectedthe 12VDCpoweradapter(provided)

Turn on your Mac
Insert the Driver CD into your CD-Rom.

After you have inserted the provided Driver
CD into your CD-Rom, a pop-up window
should appear as shown in Diagram , then
click on the"Mac” folder to open the
installation files list. Click “ICON_V-gig.mpkg”
Choose "Continue" when you see the
Welcome Screen shown in Diagram 3
Click the "Change install location” button
if you would like to set your preferred install
location, otherwise click the “Install” button.

USB 2.0 Connector
AC adaptor inlet
Connect it with the provided USB cable to your Mac/PC's USB connector. Your
Mac/PC must have a USB2.0 connector in order to run the full speed of V-gig.
Connect to the provided ICON external 2V DC power adaptor.

Launch the software control panel
Click the V-gig's software control panel
shortcut logo you have just copied to your
desktop to launch thesoftware control panel.
Audio MIDI setup
Open the “Audio MIDI setup” window and
check if the V-gig device has setup properly
as shown below in diagram 9. If your V-gig
device does not appear on the system settings.
It means the driver did not install properly, go
through the “Driver Installation” procedure
again.

Software control panel
The “Playback” and “Monitor” mixers work like a matrix mixer. Activate and
adjust the correspondence input or output channel level. They are very useful
and make your inputs and outputs very flexible. You may route any of your
input(s) to any output(s).

Windows driver installation

Installing device driver software

tray to launch the software control panel
(Page 0).

Sample rate settings
Select your desired sampling rate from 44.KHz
to 92KHz on the pull down window shown on
Diagram . Click "Apply" after the selection has
been made to set the value.

Buffer Size settings
You may select the buffer size for "Streaming"
and "ASIO". Click "Apply" after you have made
the selections.

GettingStarted
Install V-gig's USB audio interface driver. Refer to the “Driver installation”
procedure above.
Launch your VST host software such as Samplitude ICON edition.
Under the “Options” menu, select “System/Audio” and set up your audio
interface as your ASIO device.
Select “Vandal V-gig edition” at an audio track's “Plugins” section.
Add a MIDI track and select “V-gig MIDI In” at MIDI In section and “Vandal
V-gig” at MIDI out section.
Activate the MIDI track's “Monitoring” button.
The setup has completed. To use of Vandal such as for creating stomps etc.,
please refer to the Vandal user manual.

You may set the 2-foot switches and the 2-pedals on V-gig with your own
preferred settings. To do that, simply click a control such as a footswitch on
the iMap control panel (it will turn blue) and make your selection accordingly
by using the instructions below.
